Originally by: Crusher166 I dont support NAGA. I've already lost all my respect for them for other reasons which I am still not sure to bother to come public with.
They have a hidden agenda. Especially as they are hanging out in 0.0 more now they are causing friction between entities. I know that the Imperial Republic of the North is allowing them to mine... I always thought NAGA cherished its neutral status- and that was 1 of their major selling points and most people therefore wouldn't shoot them out of respect.
However when they start using alt corps to mine in alliance owned space, its just asking for trouble as most corps won't have set standings towards the unknown alt corps of NAGA.
They are -10 with ATUK now anyway so more targets to shoot at
By posting this disptue on the public forums (which could have been easily solved privatly), its just another example of how NAGA thinks its more powerful than it really is and that it takes the vast majority of support from the eve community for granted.
Frankly, I wouldnt put it past them to pay another corp to do their dirty work.
finally someone realized this

NAGA just lost my respect. Private ingame mail, and they splat it out on the forum before even trying to contact the person.
Guess I will be spending my isk elsewhere from now on.

<Snip> (From TornSouls eve-mail) As said, I dont expect you to admit to this contract one way or the other, and I'm sure you will also question my sources (dont bother, they are solid) - But please surprise me. And lets talk instead. <Snip>
I am been wrecking my brain on this, how can someone can first say that they know the opponent wont accept their perception, nor that they think they will accept their "evidence" - yet still want to talk. First you say we think this way and we dont care what you say becuase we know its true - and then want to talk about it?.
Truth be told, this looks more like a weak attempt to either blackmail or tarnish NAGA's reputation. Perhaps just as leverage to the wanted "talk" so that BIG have the high ground...... I must say that the only involved corporation I see failing in reputation is BIG itself. If they honestly thought NAGA had taken a contract out on them, and wanted to avoid it - a more diplomatic approch would have been the wiser choice.
If BIG had wanted this eve-mail secret, then they should have formed it as a starting point for a discussion, not a definitive declaration leaving nothing to be discussed. NAGA did the right thing in going public, how would it appear if BIG in 6 months time get hit by a corp heist from GHSP - following TornSoul's publication of this mail?
(in advance I would like to apologize for the unavoidable errors that comes as having english as my 3rd language) Furthermore I chose an alt to post, since I am currently involved in "affairs" that affects BIG.

Looks like you got this the wrong way around. If you look at the bottom of that mail it says lets talk. Not lets bring this on the forum so BoB/5/ASCN/SE/FE can have their way with it.

See, it says so right there. Lets talk instead. Shouldnt be to hard to spot, should it???

But what was left to talk about? The accusation was not up for discussion, nor the evidence supporting it - what did he want then? Just exchanging smacktalk?

And hence, NAGA was free to take this out on the forum so people could trash talk about the topic, and make their own conclusions without even knowing jack about what the real deal is about between them? NAGA should have kept this ingame. Not brought it public, not just yet at least.
PS: Intentions, I have no idea. And did it have to be some intentions behind sending an ingame email trying to get a conversation going with NAGA officials?

So unless its a "main" you cant seek to understand this? Oh well, guess you dont deign your obvious superior insight of the situation worthy for the public. To be honest, I am just trying to understand this - and the arguments against the going public seems rather weak to me. More like, "we dont like NAGA so this is wrong", but again I am more than willing to be proved wrong. My main problem is what would be left to talk about?
PS. Actually looking back at my killmails, I see Tundragon killing my first ship.. gave me interest for PvP so thanks

I had nothing against NAGA after this. They were where I got my T2 stuff. But not any more. Going public so soon with it, was bias from their side.

Edited by: Suggestion Girl on 22/07/2005 12:45:12 They did hold it for 3 days, but yes it doesn't seem a "time-critical" issue that warrant a quick post. We all know that the job would take many month before coming to execution, so a longer wait to let TornSoul come with any further communication could have been a good idea.

Saying that TS and me are the same is an insult.
I just wish FA would either put up or STFU.
