Anguriel was stolen from Eol by Maeglin, his son, when both Maeglin and his mother Adrehel (I believe, well whoever, it was Turgon's sister anyhow) left Eol to return (for Adrehel) to Gondolin. Eol followed, tried to kill Maeglin, Adrehel died instead and Turgon had Eol thrown of a very high cliff (or something).

Anguriel and Anglachel are twin blades forged from a black metal that came from the sky (read, meteroite). Anglachel he gave to Thingol as tribute before his story takes place, and Anguriel was his own sword. Gurthang was the name of Anglachel when it was reforged for Beleg, whom Turin slew in a madness, and took for his own, causing him to be renamed Mormegil, The Black Sword.

Ferox: "SS Merciless Cooter"
Caracle: "Cooter MK2"
Merlin: "Cooter MK1"
Procurer: "SS Mercifull Cooter"
Thorax: "Hyper Cooter" (my Thorax is a fast little bugger)
Thats basicly it for my named ships. My Raven's, Moa, and misc other ships are all nameless (and quite neglected, my Megathron and Ferox > all)
