Currently in my hangers:
Tempest: TOGCO - SMEGTASTIC (my beauty, named after the abundant use of the term "Smeg" in Red Dwarf)
Rifter: TOGCO - OMGWTFBBQ (used in a COSMOS level 1 mission, named for randomness)
Probe: TOGCO - GARBAGEMAN (my low m3 hauler, with MWD, named for most common use)
Iter 4: TOGCO - FAT LADY (my high m3 hauler, named for being fat)
Shuttle: TOGCO - CHAFF #293 (personal shuttle, Stars! tribute*)
Shuttle: TOGCO - Jolt Cola III (personal shuttle, named after a drink)
Retriever: TOGCO - BOREDOM (alt's mining barge, named for what it induces)
Iter 1: TOGCO - A&W (alt's old hauler, named after a brand of rootbeer)
Tristan: TOGCO - Jolt Cola II (alt's old personal MWD transport)
Ships sold:
Thorax: TOGCO - BARQS (alt's old miner/mission runner. Named after a brand of rootbeer (my favorite))
Rupture: Name unknown (predecessor to the TOGCO - PIMPTASTICAL, name not remembered)
Ships lost in action:
Cyclone: TOGCO - PIMPTASTICAL (for lo', it was a pimptastic battlecruiser!)
Cyclone: TOGCO - PIMPTASTICAL II (for lo', it replaced a pimptastic battlecruiser!)
Rupture: Name unknown (predecessor to the other name unknown rupture)
* Naming my shuttle "Chaff" is a tribute to a turnbased strategty game called "Stars!" that I used to play, where fleets of thousands of crappy scout ships were used as "chaff" to draw missile fire from the main battle fleet.

Cormorant: "Sound and Fury" in case you don't know/forgot, that's the first half of a quote, which is "...sound and fury, signifying nothing"...It's a ship with a whole LOT of guns, but it's actually really small, so I was always under the impression that the ship thinks it's really badass and doesn't realize it's just a little destroyer. Hence the name.
Caracal: "Disemboweler" good to lead up to the Moa
Moa: "Eviscerator" I always wanted to use this as a name for a ship
Ferox: "Incinerator" I got my Moa before battlecruisers came out, so I didn't know that "Eviscerator" would be more perfect for a Ferox than a Moa...so I just used the next logical escalation from "Eviscerator", and went to "Incinerator"...I figure if I were to get a battleship (which I don't really plan on doing), it would be the "Vaporizer"
Iteron Mk V: "Nikolai's Pen!s" [without the l33tspeak]...the whole POINT of this was to be "Nikolai Nuvolari's Pen!s" so it would look like it does when you first assemble a ship and the default name is "[charactername]'s [shipname]"...except "Nikolai Nuvolari" made it too long, so it didn't fit.
Iteron Mk III: "Pocket Rocket" just to go along with my Mk V.
Amarr Shuttle: "Swallow"
Minmatar Shuttle: "Sparrow"
Caldari Shuttle: "Albatross"
Gallente Shuttle: "Dodo Bird"

I also got a vigil which I call 'Dead Man Warping'
other than that i dont really go in for names, although if I have a mining ship i usually call it 'roid raper.
