Everything over time has problems that can not be helped but keeping 'your' customers updated throughout the problems is a must. CCP never learn though... probably because we all keep paying our subscription fees

The point is - i am "paying" for this - money, no matter how small that ammount of money is - I pay to play whenever I want. More over - as i have stated, my biggest issues is a complete lag of anything close to customer service. I pay for a thing, I want to use it, at the very least I want some sort of response to my issues. (i have neither right now) and yes - it has now come to the point - that I'm thinking of finding something else to do with my money! I would be happy if a had a mail saying "we are sorry - we understand your annoyance - we will sort your training out" god damn it!!! anything would be better than being ignored I would love to vent my displeasure at CCP directly - but they have choosen the forums as our tool to do that" if all you're gonna do is flame me and others with my issues - maybe you could just try buggering off. I'd like to see anyone have something they are paying for not get angry when that service is taken away! this is NOT free remember!!! (\_/) (O.o) (> <)

To be fair, CCP can only pass on the information they have. They are probably sitting in Iceland, wondering if it is too early for beer, and shouting down the phone to the people who maintain the server cluster in London. At the same time Froggy is probably building a redundant server cluster out of scientific calculators and those watches with databanks in them. Currently the main problem is getting enough light in to the solar panels of the calculators as the CCP basement has no windows and only a grimy old 40w bulb. In related news, TomB has managed to nerf everything to hell, which is reducing server loads dramatically. The combat system is now turn based. That is simply BANG OUT OF ORDER maybe if they can't take the flames they should sort thier servers out!!! Personally I find that sort of customer service a complete and utter joke The problem is - If you love the game (as i do) their have you by the balls and they know it!!! anyone know the download address of Star Wars Galaxies? This is very dodgy ground - I have read it - but there is a thing called "pressident" That is set by history of service and not contract. regardless of that - my only recause is still to stop playing and as i have said more times than I care to remember my real issue is the complete lack of "customer service" you guys you are in game are being told that it's being sorted - I'm being completely ignored - IT UTTER BULL**** - no updates on forums and no reply to petition and still no idea has said sorry All CCP do is hide and let ISD take the flack (\_/) (O.o) (> <)

While I, and you it would seem, accept such problems will occur with EVE I can also accept that other players may be annoyed that they can't play the game they want to at the weekend. The reality is that perception is key, at the moment the perception for many will be that some one at CCP is just standing by the restart button.....rightly or wrongly how would I or others actually know.

I got that once while trying to log in but tbh I can't help thinking that a change to MOTD or a popup everytime you log in warning you of potential stuck issues would be appropriate.
