Mmm, yes, hello everyone that favors nerfs..here's a thought, why don't we just nerf the whole game, like maybe say make every frigate equal every cruiser equal, battleship equal and so on...Oh yeah! That's because the game would be NO FUN! A huge part of the MMORPG gaming attraction is the pursuit of bigger and better. Unfortunatley there are sooo many whiners that think someone that has pursued a different skill path shouldn't get any benefit from that.
I am so tired of nerfing. There should be and must be items in the game with a clear advantage over similar items to keep the game interesting. If you don't like it, go play some first person shooter. They're fun, and you won't have to whine so much.

I propose an "Adopt-a-roid" program. Name a roid of your choice, nuture it, help it grow, and ruthlessly pod ANYONE who looks at it. Get daily updates on your roid; it's size; who it's friends are; whether it's found a little friend, and is thinking about settling down and making baby roids... Get framed holographic photo's of you and your roid in a sweet little calender. Keep it healty, don't allow it to get too overweight (over 20km diameter is considered overweight), and make an environmental hit squad patrol all roid fields..... they can fly cloaked apocs with 7 lrg smartbombs, which, crucially DON'T damage the roids...
Recycle! every trit you reclaim from loot, means one less roid being mercilessly killed. Please, think of the roids....

In reply to franks wonderfull suggestion..... I think it is a novel idea and i will run the "ragged roid daycare" with a small fee of 1,00 isk (fees are smaller the more special a roid is) i will take ur little loved roid on a feild trip to meet new roids. worried about the travel? no worries there i will treat as if they are my roids and handle them with care. they will wake up from there nap a changed little roid and be placed in the community "play" haul where they will meet other just like them......soon to be flying past u in all there glory.

One funny thing if they "nerf" mining overall is that everything will get nerfed in the long run, since when ppl's storages of minerals will run out and it will be a hard time to get minerals there will get hard to get hold of a ship and with that no one can do anything, sure is a long-shot but it will happen if mining gets nerfed, thats what i think abiut it all. Whats the poitn of nerfing things all the mtime, if one thing gets nerfed, someone will aslways get angry about it and demand nerfing for something else, it will never stop, totally pointless..............

and here i just got my L barge today. hm raven sucks no more raven. train for gallente spend months training then comes whine/nerf. switch to??

Ok, so we'll put a small sig radius on small asteroids and then give large barges bad scan res and it will take ages to target the good roids.
