That sounds like that bug when the launcher got corrupted
There is a fix here somewhere that lets you re-download the launcher .exe (the repair tool supposedly fixes, but it corrupted the launcher) |

Well, I do and I can tell you that historically CCP's track record of testing their changes isn't great. You could even say their QA department is one or two people who work at it part-time. Testing and regression testing of bugfixes and changes are notoriously not CCP's strong suits.
As for the complex/exploration rats-warping-off bug... anyone experiencing this should be prepared to wait months for a fix. They've had over 2 months to address the Sansha's extreme Tracking Disruption problem and nothing has been done yet. This new bug might not be fixed for months. Now that 1.1.1 is out CCP will relax for a week, then spend March working on the next expansion, then spend April on CSM and Fanfest fluff, and May on getting their latest half-baked patch out the door. If we're lucky there will be more in it than simply additional ship rebalancing. Not that that's a bad thing. If we're really lucky the Drake will get taken down another peg or two |

Upon loggin in, each session, very very long delay in the 'LOADING' of the hanger, or Captians quarters. On average the delay is approximately 2m 4s. Additionally, recieving numerious "socket closed" disconnects while trying to do anything from mining to mission running, or exploration. |

The incursion in Parossa just ended (mom was killed). The entire node appears to have dropped out. Chat services are still working until a moment ago when disconnect occurred. I'm sure you all will have logs of the event. I would consider this a serious problem. |

Scanning down anomalies in both wh-space and K-space the last wave usually warps off in random directions a bit annoying when you find a good Ded site to get the goodies fly off in front of your eyes :) |

Bookmarks or single objects in space on the solar system map (such as planets with no moons) do not show a tooltip on mouse-over like they used to (they have to be clicked on).
Does not effect stacks of objects (such as planets with many moons).
This also appears to happen in regular space; multiple objects still show tooltips but a control tower, for example, will not. |

A couple things I have noticed:
Game seems to respond slower (especially while salvaging), but I have had trouble getting drones to launch in combat, they have thrown error messages (sorry I don't have them handy as I was pissed and trying not to die, I have no faith in the logs). If it happens again I'll report it.
When salvaging, after docking, I have been forced to 'stack all' repeatedly before I could 'select all' the salvage (in Noctis) and drag it in to the item hangar. If I don't do this I have to drag items one at a time to the item hangar. I mine in EVE because I'm too drunk to fish in WoW.-á |

Camera shake from missiles is occurring even when you are not the target of the missiles.

On mac client my wallet won't open properly. When I click it in the sidebar it is replaced by a generic icon and after 2 more clicks a completely blank window titled "Wallet" appears. When I close the window the sidebar icon returns to normal. |

Currently unable to use autopilot. When I set a waypoint, it appears in waypoints list. Same goes for if I set it as my destination, it appears in the waypoint list. However, in the Route infobar it says No destination and Auto-Pilot will immediately turn off saying no waypoints set. Thus, I can't go anywhere unless I fly manually! Only happening since earlier today. |

Autopilot settings "prefer shorter, prefer safer" are now located in route tab displayed "in space" as told in the expansion notes |

Not only are basic functionalities not unit tested, but they don't even fire up the damn game and play some of the basic roles that 10s of thousands of their players do.
The stuff that breaks isn't exotic, and if anyone actually played with these changes pre-release, they would have been caught.
CCP have a rabid audience who love the game, but they are horrible at delivering a high quality product experience, particularly when they launch a patch. Worse yet, they are completely unaccountable when they do so.
I don't know where you work, or what you do, but I would never release a patch like this to my paying clients. Tears will be shed and pants will need to be changed all round. |

Things can break even if you have 100% code coverage. Some things you just don't know before you have 20k users testing.
Like at the burn Jita event. TiDi in a highsec system caused the occasional pilot to get Concorded for no reason. You just can't test that with a small QA team.

Code has bugs, thats how the universe works. There are also deadlines you can't control, and customers waiting for patches. Every programmer I talk to on the Internet say exactly this. - Mousing over a bracket in space no longer shows that bracket's text description, i.e.: pilot name, ship type, alliance ticker, and distance for a ship. A player now has to click on a bracket in order to see info on it. Mousing over a 'stacked' group of brackets -- where the brackets show close together so the game displays them as a stacked list, still works as before. This has been reported repeatedly in the Help channel, and so appears to be a universal issue.
Not a game-breaking bug, but is somewhat annoying due to the extra clicks required to get info on things in space, especially when the bracket profile is not identical to the overview profile.
- Ships randomly warp out of belts, anomalies, and missions.
- The 'Attack Battlecruisers' and 'Blockade Runners' are unchecked in the overview settings by default. Not a bug, but rather a rather nasty oversight, since players were not warned about this in advance, and for some the only forewarning to check their overview settings has been when they got fired upon by an invisible ship.
- Not a Retribution error, but the EVE Gate mail client hasn't been displaying hyperlinks and urls in mails written in the in-game mail client for several months now. The space where the hyperink was is displayed as a blank line.
