The Viator states in its description, "Can fit Covert Ops Cloaks and Covert Cynosural Fields". Technicaly this is not possible as it only has one high slot.
The ship clearly needs two high slots to fulfill its new role as has been commented in the forums before this release. |

ship cargo hold is not opening on newly selected ships (needs to be done manually)
IN GAME: logged in to game in a curse switched hull to an anathima and opened cargo curse cargo hold opened, did this several times manually opened the anathimas hold using the inventory UI
way points on the system backdrops not showing with "show way points in space" selected
finally not Shaw if this is normal but my damnation command links are showing negative (-12.75%) as their bonus haven't been able to form fleet to find out if the negative is applied

I got to a Starbase (POS) and i open the tower fuel bay or a silo but instead it opens the cargohold of my ship. Have to open the fuel bay of tower or a silo 2 times to work. |

Found two issues so far...
- In game applications to join corp have all been wiped out. - The new system info/autopilot info box stretched way too far to the right, taking up screen estate needlessly. Previously it was possible to have the capacitor readout on top just next to the system info and still retain functionality of both of them, now the invisible box from both System Name and the Route boxes stretch out and block the tactical, cargo and scanner buttons, or alternatively the far right portion of the shield/armor/hull readout's mouseover. |

Ignoring the fact that in order to see anything you have to deselect and then reselect 'Unprocessed'; and that even apps put in TODAY do not appear unless you select 'older applications' you cant actually accept them as it says "You have no record of the application".

Attack battlecruiser and blockade runners wont show in overview after patch. They are unchecked in settings at default. When i docked in station both my ship hnagar and item hangar showed empty. When i closed them and reopened from neocom it opened only my ships empty cargobay as shiphangar so i had to use the tree to get my actual ship and item hangars open. |

Hovering mouse on an bracket in space no longer shows it's name and other information selected in overview settings. (alliance ticker, corp ticker, et cetera)
The circular selection bracket no longer shows on some items such as wrecks and stations.
By default attack battlecruiser and blockade runner are ticked off in overview settings. |

It sounds as though only one weapon that hits your ship makes a sound at any one time.
The result is a sudden cut-off of any weapon sound that was playing. This causes sharp clipping and the overall effect is jarring.

if you doubleclick a celestial the view will center to that celestial, yes. however the next time you use the right mouse to drag the map, the view will re-center to the sun. annoying as hell... |

Client data is corrupted. Starting the application through the EVE Launcher will attempt to repair the data. A new installation must be downloaded manually if the issue persists.

Move them into a container too small to take all of them, but big enough to take at least one Result: none move Expected result: As many as possible are moved, starting with the smallest stack So far only tested in space, moving ore into a fleet hangar of an orca, or between bays in the orca.

- Right click not allowing users to drag the solar system map (pan view)
- Show route in space not displaying correctly in space
- Inventory window opening to ship cargo instead of the desired location (covers multiple scenarios)
- Brackets not displaying correctly

This is by design, not a new issue. We cannot choose which items to move or what stack to move.

I'm having a different scanning issue.
- Using Solar System view, I'm not able to doubleclick on the probes name to center them anymore (mouse pointer is also the targetting square instead of arrow).
- While holding the right mouse button and dragging moves the solarsystem in the direction (as before), but makes the blue probe sheres disppear, until I close and reopen the map.

On member list settings I have "Show Member List (Immediate)" checked. Even when someone types, the number does not appear. Local appears to be working fine, but not the other channels. |

Did a couple of Radar sites and rats in them are de-spawning as soon as I kill several. Also, those sites seem to dissapear from scan results as soon as I enter them - it's not possible to scan them down afterwards. |

Centering the view on probes in the "solar system map" is not working.
Double-clicking the probe names does nothing.
I managed to make it work once but now cannot figure again how i did that.
Please fix this (again). And maybe this time in a way that the probe names dont vanish when you hover over for the first time for a set of probes (like it was before the 1.1 patch).
BTW there have been quite some post about the issue with centering view on probes in the solar system map after the release of retribution 1. Nothing happened till now. Now it is even more broken. Thats a bit dissapointing.
This is a quite crucial feature in regards to scanning.

In solar system map I cannot move view by keeping right mouse button pressed. Double click on planet or probe name doesnt center view any longer. If I double click stargate which i am sitting on in solar system map my ship will try to approach it.

I am having an issue installing the update. When I run the launcher and it begins to validate client, at 10% I get a pop up saying "The Eve Launcher cannot update a directory from which processes are running. Please close the following process: Eve.exe"
Okay or Cancel.
I've run the task manager to stop CCP.exe and Eve.exe isn't running. IT seems to be running when I start the launcher.

I haven't seen this issue noted yet, so it might be just me.
Only a handful of my NeoCom buttons have icons. The same is true for items in my inventory--they are present as shown by the m3, but I can't see most of them to select them.
I've cleared the cache multiple times, reset the NeoCom buttons, and reset general settings.

PI issue. If you're working your colony and jump through a gate the submit/cancel buttons are removed but any changes you've made are still there. So you either have to make more changes to get the buttons back or back out of the PI screen entirely and start changes from scratch again.
More annoying than anything but what are you expecting me to do? Focus on PI when I'm working PI? I liked doing it while I do warp to 0m from gate to gate to avoid using autopilot. |

Neither you nor the corporation can see the application right now so nobody can do anything with it.
On that subject: Issue has been found and rectified for testing. It only applies to applications that were filed before the deployment. It's also sensitive to what the current date is for funny reasons. But no data has been lost anywhere. But that doesn't really excuse the inconvenience.

In the fitting window, clicking on the drone bay opens the cargo, not the drone bay.
In a similar vain, opening a can doesn't open the can it opens the last thing you looked at.
Something's up with cargo, my archon cargo is now overfull, a corp mates is as well, not sure what's going on with that, bug reported. Vote Item Heck One for CSM8 |

If I try to Set Destination, it will not show, although a repeated attempt will prompt the "I cannot set a way point to the same location twice," voice over. This also shows up under Personal Assets as well. No one else in my Corp or in Local has stated it's happened to them.
Slightly disturbing at the time, although it hasn't happened since, the first time I logged in with the new patch, I was given the tutorial about needing to get myself a clone.

As I think already noted, when approaching a cargo container for Mission Item, either by right click Open Cargo, or Clicking Open Cargo button top right when within 2500m result in inventory opening, not the cargo container, this now requires an extra click to select the container.
Also, since this morning (UK Time) after the servers have come back up I have had 16x   "CCP Exe file has stopped responding" then you have Windows Option of wait to recover or End... waiting does nothing but waste time.... End task, start again.....
No other changes made on PC at all was fully functional last night and for months playing Eve before this update. Fully patched Windows 8 machine on very modern hardware, 16Gb RAM, i7 etc. NVidia GTX 580 not overclocked.
Definitely something weird going on with this update.

In C3 system the rats from the last swarm despawned when there were only 3,4 left. It happened in two FFS, a Solar and an OFS. In the OFS at least I got to kill the two Sleepless Defenders and it was the 4 frigs that despawned but this is costing me isk

i have tried twice now to download new client. still same problem..... it says that text every time i try to log in Try avoiding the launcher by starting exefile.exe and not eve.exe ...
I remember i suddenly, for NO reason, had issues with the launcher and couldn't get my head around it ... ... but then i had the epiphany of just avoiding the launcher in the first place and that worked.
Now even the launcher works again. This was pre Retribution 1.1, but you could at least give it a try.

This definitely appears to be a problem with missile explosions. They are often delayed from impact, are cut off short, and sound jarring as a result. Might be true with other weapon sounds but most noticeable with missiles.
Multiple missile explosion sounds use to "mix together"-- if I remember because I certainly do not remember this jarring effect. |

Some weird things happening with my client CCP, I just left my ship, undocked in a pod, did 2 jumps and docked.
On docking I was given a new Velator, funny I already had one assembled in the hanger, I even got the nice message from Pend Insurance regarding my loss etc
Dragged and dropped the assembled Velator to board it and the new unassembled ship vanished. Odd or what.

Issue after patch 1.1. I had a Myrmidon pre-patch, kitted out completely and sitting in my starbase (Orvolle at the time, was not the active ship) including 6 Ogre I in the drone bay.
After the patch I logged in, checked what my Myrmidon's DPS was post-patch and realised drone damage was at zero, upon checking my drone bay it appears that when the Myrmidon drone bay got adjusted that it has also wiped my drones from the bay at the same time.
I'm not gonna QQ for reimbursement or anything because I'm not a whiny child, I just thought I'd let you know I'd experienced a somewhat vexing issue and letting other players know: check your Myrmidon's drone bay, you might be missing some stuff ;) |

They are not showing on ANY custom filters. For the love of god, default new ship classes to ON in the future. It's much easier and safer to remove ships than to add them when you don't see them. |

So, I jump to a blank clone to upgrade my implants. First, I can't open the inventory at the station. I log off and log back on to get the danged thing to open.
I put in the implants, restart my skill queue, and the training time doesn't change lick. No reduction due to better implants. ( Well, not I .. but one of me ).

If you have "avoids" set for all paths then you would have this problem. Left click on the "A" next to Route, click "Manage Route" and you should see your waypoints listed. You can also see, and edit, your avoidance list..
If you managed to avoid all of those sy stems then you might want to keep mum about it, as it's unlikely you could do that manulaly without spotting your problem..... |

Well... that was odd. For the record, the Avoids were NOT the problem... at least I don't think they were, but the issue seemed to resolve with a session change and a log out and back in. Thanks for the feedback! |

Not just complexes. I got faction spawn from anom and after killing faction bs rest of rats warped away. Which may not mean as much as in plexes. But however 6million bounty from commander doesnt feel so good when the rest 4 rats with 2million buonty each leaves the field. Specially when the faction spawn drops only some useles faction ammo that no one use.. |

Was running incursions tonight.. we finally got enough up for an HQ fleet, had everything perfect.Good logis and everything. Then we started having random disconnections. Every 10 minutes, another ship was DC'ing. Not only was it just random ships, but our logistics pilots were dcing. We tried clearing cache, resetting routers, testing internet connections. Everything showed fine but it was still DC'ing. |

Try running the repair tool instead or download the offline installer patch (if they still do it?)... I have used the repair tool a few times and it works okay for problem patches/installs. |

I guess I should comment since I'm experiencing many of the issues others have stated in this thread:
1) The autopilot ribbon through space is nonexistant. (Disappointing since I think I might like this feature.) 2) Client froze up and dc'd tonight. Had to use the task manager to end the program. 3) When docking at a hub, the screen goes black for about 30 seconds............and then shows your ship in the hangar. 4) The annoying explosion sound on session change doesn't happen every time I dock now but when it does happen (and yes, it's still happening) I think it's even louder than before. 5) In some cases ore isn't being transferred to the ore bay - most notably when warping. Before the patch, I would allign when the ore bay was nearing capacity and when warping out, warp initiation transferred ore into the hold. Now you just warp off.
That's all I've noticed so far. Well I also noticed an unusual number of Hobgoblin I's in Amarr but I think that's working as intended.
If I notice anything else, I'll write again.

I've trained Armor Honeycombing to 2 but had it in queue up to Level 4. However after Level 2 it did not train any further.
The neocom skill queue displayed no skill in training and the skill timer in the Training Queue window stopped counting down.
I've removed Honeycombing from the que, cleared cache and started to train another skill. Worked fine. However after this I've tried to train Arm. Hon. again and got the same result as before.
Training timer still stuck and other skills wouldn't train either.
Any help regarding this would be appreciated.
Also an update: now it's even more chaotic, no matter what i put in que the neocom skill progression bar always shows armor honeycombing and it does not update properly either.
However after clearing the cache other skills train properly but i don't dare to put AHC level 3-4 into the queue again. Neocom bar is still in chaos. |

This might be covered under "brackets not working correctly" but hovering over individual objects in space no longer shows the bracket/label as it used to. Larger groups of objects still respond as expected.
EDIT: While we're on the subject, the permanently visible reticule over your own ship when you set the camera to any other object that disappeared in 1.0 (I think? or possibly Inferno) would be nice to have back, too. |

I was able to warp around cloaked in a Scimitar (but didn't do anything aside from testing that it could be done). I didn't try it out on any other ships that shouldn't be able to fit a CovOps Cloak II, but this could get interesting depending on how widespread the bug is. All Battleships BlackOps Battleships? I can't see my mouse cursor on screen. It clearly is there. If I guess around enough I can activate stuff. But I can't see the cursor. I've cleared cache, restarted, and reinstalled. I'm running windows 8 on a lenovo P580 laptop. x86-64 Core i5 @ 2.5 GHz, 6 GB Ram (shared), and everything completely up to date.

then opening wrecks in space it opens your own cargo hold instead with the wreck in the list so you then have to select it to click loot all, super annoying when looting a field......

"Log off safely" option now works in a strange way. When i press the button, my fps drops down from 250-300 to 10-15 due to a sudden hard drive actvity. It takes about 15-20 seconds.
Also i've noticed last 4 NPC BSes disappeared after killing a boss structure in Angel's 8/10.
+ when working with scanning probes, solar system map sometimes suddenly "resets" to a weird view. |

And don't even begin to suggest the "refitting with a capital ship" idea, that is so dim-witted its not even funny. |

Ditto that, we had Transport Ships and Battlecruisers in our custom overviews (as well as scan result filters) in the past, removing a portion of those all of a sudden does make it a lot harder for us end users who not only have to fix that issue, but to learn about it in the first place. Client data is corrupted. Starting the application through the EVE Launcher will attempt to repair the data. A new installation must be downloaded manually if the issue persists.

Uhh... Something went wrong when I was patching it. It'll patch for a while, then I'll get a really long error message. Then I have the option to cancel everything or actually play Eve. But when I try to play Eve, it wants to install something else, which ends up not working. Then I am left just looking at the client like wtf.

Since patche 1.1 or 1.1.1 is something wrong with low sec. cosmic signature - Minor Guristas Annex .
Process overview: Once u enter into second pocket and u shoot the Weapons Manufacturing Plant the Pith Militant Overseer (Guristas supervisor somting) show up, with his dead u may get expedition or not and there also chance for dread guristas spawn.
Behaviour before patch: all rats remain in pocket, does not matter what u shoot first.
Behavior after patch: With Pith Militant Overseer dead (I get expedition) all rats will disappear with faction spawn which I saw for few sec.
I did this complex twice and same happend again.

It gives players more options, and makes the game more consistent, without introducing anything that we regard as a "serious balance issue". We totally recognize that the Prowler is now superior to the other BRs in certain very specific circumstances, and as CCP Fozzie has noted elsewhere it's something that we expect to revisit at some point, but in the meantime we feel that having at least the option to trade your COCDII for a CCFGI on a non-Minmatar BR (say, if you feel a large cargohold is more important than a COCDII for the specific job you need doing) is better than not having that option. |

They need to be able to do it using a updating script, and not have to update every TypeID stat manually. You are probably failing to understand just how many TypeIDs there are, How many Mutators there are. And yes, some of the 400~ skills have stats that may not be seen on a regular "show info". |

Would you consider perhaps making a tool that could do this automatically for exported XML overviews, or would this also require too much development time?
You see, I'm asking this because there are quite a few players who have a lot of overviews that they use regularly, and needing to update all of them is extremely tedious and time consuming. It seems that something to this effect should have been done for a change that caused an awful lot of inconvenience for seemingly little benefit. When I click on "Cargo Hold" in the fittings window, I get the last tree section I had open (which is often another ship's cargo hold). When I click on "Drone Bay" in the fittings window, I get the current ship's cargo hold.
For a short time pre-1.1 patch, when double clicking in and open area of the station environment, I got the current ship's cargo hold. I liked this. Now, post 1.1 patch, I get the last active tree section, (which is often another ship's cargo hold, which expands my ships list, which is annoying because there's over 70 entries in the bloody thing).
Clicking "Items" on the Neocom works differently across two clients. This character's client gives me the last active tree section. My alt's client gives me the current station hangar. I prefer the latter action for consistency. |

Technically, the BRs are already unbalanced. For instance, Viator carries the most, Prowler is most agile, etc. |

Not really the same situation.
You have agility, speed etc imbalances an all ships atm, thats not really an issue.
However, when you introduce a new (very useful) function, and give the ability to use it to the BR of just 1 race, then that it a total imbalance. You obviously need the Cov cloak, so don't be daft enough to say that we can swap the cloak for the Cov cyno.
The T3 situation is a very good comparison. |

I had this issue as well, except mine said "exefile.exe" instead of "eve.exe" but I'd wager the solution is the same. I didn't have anything running either other than the launcher, but I opened up task manager in windows, went to processes and found the one it mentioned. I ended the process and then tried the launcher again and it worked fine. |

Yes, eve is very glitchy in many ways after 1.1 and 1.1.1 but this is one of the most, no THE most inconvenient one and very annoying indeed, d-scan is now a pain in the butt. Please look into this asap.

Furthermore i can see some randomly visible artifacts in textures and text fonts.
And at the end, the game is lagging often for parts of seconds.

1.1.1 Skill queue got it's knickers in a twist, and stopped - then a full window (of the training queue) bar appeared, followed by "You cannot train that now, you must train the lower level first" A stutter while nothing could be done, followed by the lvl1 version of the skill (Drones) completing, with attendant bells and whistles...
The API decided that there was no training on that account at the time as well!
After a short wait & hitting "Apply" everything returned to normal

my client freezes after about 10-15 minutes ever single time. wether I'm mining, or sitting in a station browsing the market, the freezes are random, annoying and you can practically set your watch by them. its not a matter of IF its going to freeze, but how much can i get done before it does freeze. Im running OSX 10.8.2, i have safari running in the background, and a bit torrent client. sometimes i have a video converter in the background as well, sometimes i dont, wether i do or dont doesnt seem to have an affect on the EVE client crashing. |

So after Retribution 1.1 was implemented, logging into the game (straight into Captain's Quarters) seems to take several times longer than earlier in Retribution 1.0. It basically gets stuck on the "blurred Captain's Quarters in the background with a white LOADING-text" state for around 30 sec and then eventually loads the environment. Logging into Ship Hangar is as smooth as ever though, also transition from Ship Hangar to Captain's Quarters is pretty smooth too.
Is this a known issue that Captain's Quarters load slower if you log in straight into them? |

For some reason the 1.1 patch seems to be causing some minimized eve clients to become unresponsive after about 30-45 minutes. This doesn't seem to be an isolated issue with hardware since I am experiencing the same behavior on a couple computers with very different hardware configs. Additionally, the characters will remain logged in even after the client has stopped responding.

They've had over 2 months to address the Sansha's extreme Tracking Disruption problem and nothing has been done yet. This new bug might not be fixed for months. Now that 1.1.1 is out CCP will relax for a week, then spend March working on the next expansion, then spend April on CSM and Fanfest fluff, and May on getting their latest half-baked patch out the door. Bookmarks or single objects in space on the solar system map (such as planets with no moons) do not show a tooltip on mouse-over like they used to (they have to be clicked on).
Does not effect stacks of objects (such as planets with many moons).
This also appears to happen in regular space; multiple objects still show tooltips but a control tower, for example, will not. |

Game seems to respond slower (especially while salvaging), but I have had trouble getting drones to launch in combat, they have thrown error messages (sorry I don't have them handy as I was pissed and trying not to die, I have no faith in the logs). If it happens again I'll report it.
When salvaging, after docking, I have been forced to 'stack all' repeatedly before I could 'select all' the salvage (in Noctis) and drag it in to the item hangar. If I don't do this I have to drag items one at a time to the item hangar. I mine in EVE because I'm too drunk to fish in WoW.-á |

Currently unable to use autopilot. When I set a waypoint, it appears in waypoints list. Same goes for if I set it as my destination, it appears in the waypoint list. However, in the Route infobar it says No destination and Auto-Pilot will immediately turn off saying no waypoints set. Thus, I can't go anywhere unless I fly manually! Only happening since earlier today. |

Things can break even if you have 100% code coverage. Some things you just don't know before you have 20k users testing.
Like at the burn Jita event. TiDi in a highsec system caused the occasional pilot to get Concorded for no reason. You just can't test that with a small QA team.

- Ships randomly warp out of belts, anomalies, and missions.
- The 'Attack Battlecruisers' and 'Blockade Runners' are unchecked in the overview settings by default. Not a bug, but rather a rather nasty oversight, since players were not warned about this in advance, and for some the only forewarning to check their overview settings has been when they got fired upon by an invisible ship.
- Not a Retribution error, but the EVE Gate mail client hasn't been displaying hyperlinks and urls in mails written in the in-game mail client for several months now. The space where the hyperink was is displayed as a blank line.

Correction: The same applies to any object on grid. Confirmed, I just tried it by clicking station, then station services, then when clicking station again the highlighting circle did not reappear.

I believe the two issues are related.
Did you try opening your autopilot settings and remove any systems in your avoidance list, alternatively check the settings to make sure you do not avoid podkills etc, this error is usually caused by either of those two.

I believe the two issues are related. Have you tried clearing your cache? Are you sure you don't have the destination (or some solarsystem that you have to pass through) in the autopilot avoidance list? If those things don't fix the issue, could you please file a bugreport from within the client and then we can hopefully figure out what's going on

Something like this happens to me. I will be fighting out in and encounter area and all of a sudden, my screen will go white. I too thought it was an issue related to my hardware, but I was watching a friend run an incursion and it happened to him, totally different hardware. Any idea what is causing this?

im sure this has been said, but i and others are currently suffering from repeated client lock ups. Client grey screens then enters "Not Responding" mode. I am on a win7 pc and windows attempts to fix the issue but obviously fails.
This never happened before untill after dt tonight
Additionally with the eve launcher, when i click the big Play button the launcher doesnt close, it starts up a new client but it remains persistent. I dont recall that behaviour untill 1.1 went live |

You are not the only one! a quick fix to this is literally to spin your camera around your ship zooming in and out all the time. eventually (couple of seconds) this will fix it
Ive also had a similar effect but instead of white its like tearing effect (although not seen since 1.1)

Confirmed, I just finished a storyline mission for the Caldari State, and suddenly I have an "Unknown Faction" with a base -0.03 faction standing towards me. I'm trying to determine if this is a new faction or an older faction that has lost its identity.
This came after the Retribution 1.1.1 patch, and if the timestamp on the "Derived modification standing" is accurate, this came from me after completing a mission against Mercenaries, "Stop the Thief".
Another stealth fix is that your standings toward a faction now take a hit if you kill their faction ships - before the patch this did not happen, and had been "broken" for some months. (I did not bug report it because I had no idea if it was "an intended feature" or not, as I have been away from EvE for some months before recently returning.)

Before DT today my launcher shortcut was working fine.
My first attempt to login since DT failed. My launcher shortcut took me straight to the log on screen, bypassing the launcher file check screen. The log in screen had a message saying status incompatible (protocol) This problem occurred on both my PC's.
I fixed this by deleting my old launcher shortcut and creating a new one.
Not a major issue but hopefully my post might help anyone else out in the same position. |

The client freezing issue is pretty severe. Even in in gangs with not more than 30 people every few minutes there is someone affected. The interesting thing is that the "victim" of the bug does not show as disconnected tho the client is frozen. Only after one kills the process it shows as disconnect.
Another issue I noted was after switching ships, then doubleclicking the new ship to open the cargo hold actually opens the cargo of the previous ship. |

Thanks for fixing that ridiculous container bug, that was seriously annoying (and mystifying that it made it to the production server, but I always seem forget that CCP farms its QA out to paying customers).
Today I tried to log on, but both my mac and PC launchers decided they didn't feel like grabbing the new patch. After rebooting and trying again (a few times on the mac) I got them to grudgingly download the new patch. The strange part is that my macbook didn't seem to be affected by this.
Once I got into the game tho, things are decidedly weird.
I play with a main and 3 alts, they all happen to be in the same system today as I log in. The weird part is that they are randomly showing up or not in the corp chat window. Randomly showing up or not in local chat and station guest list, and randomly showing or not the green corp badge. Hard to fleet up if I can't get to the toon's name in a chat window :(
And now it's dropping connections. Good times. |

Either stealth nerf (read the patch notes several times) or just a bug: route optimizer doesn't work anymore for more than 10 waypoints. Before moving the whole autoroute thing to the overview, it worked fine for 12-13 WPs. Yes, we'd get the message that it will take ages, the client froze but in the end returned the result.
Now when we click the "Optimize route" for 10+ WPs, there's no feedback or response whatsoever. Not to mention it doesn't do any sort of optimization. Thanks CCP! |

Not a major issue but the launcher is showing Tranquility is offline with zero players when Tranquility is up. Closing and restarting launcher did not change that. I got into the game with no issues but just wanted to note this. |

I am currently having issues with right clicking to get a menu. Especially when I right click on a character name, it will not pop up the menu. Sometimes I have to right click on the name in chat just to get the options menu.

You need to submit an in-game bug report from the client on which you experienced the issue because (potentially) important log-type data gets submitted along with the bug report. CCP cannot access client-side data just by knowing who you are. |

I figured that the launcher couldn't see something internetwards.
I ran the launcher as admin (from the C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE on win 7) and that seemed to help. I'm now happily DLing the patch.
YMMV depending on UAC etc but hope that helps someone |

I keep having my first low slot go offline. I remember this happening in a previous release with modules defaulting to offline. Seems it is doing it again. Bad thing is its my Armor mod, not good to find out it offlined after I start combat. |

EDIT: There is actually another little progress bar that appears. As the screen comes up where you would normally select which character, a progressbar pops up that says "Fetching Characters" , this progress bar appears and immediatley disappears and is replaced with the connection lost; socket closed popup
Having you tried clearing out your cache (manually clear the cache data from all the folders in your C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE, if there's more than one)? Have you tried deleting your settings (save them first so you can reinstate them if that's not the problem)? Are you experiencing any noticeable load-time issues with any websites? Can you run a tracert to www.eve-online.net? |

Since the Patch I need to have my Graphics Content Settings > Shader Quality at Medium not Low.
Reason : I can no longuer distinguish which type of Wormhole I'm looking at (C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6 or Faction Region for K-Space) just by looking at it. As the WH (with low settings) now looks like the current system I am in, not the system the WH leads to. With Medium Settings its ok. |

The overview seems to be an account setting. like if I have my overview with my PI settings then log out then onto another character on that account the overview settings are how I left the other character. I have noticed this too, but it seems inconsistant as an issue. It might be related to log-in sessions, or the types of stations; All I mean is sometimes it is not slow, and sometimes very noticable (Speaking for myself anyway). |

There still is the same issue with centering view on probes in the solar system map. Double-clicking on the probe names sometimes does nothing. I still have no idea what causes it to happen and what causes it to work fine again. It looks totally sporadic to me.
I have a bug report open regarding that as well. Bug Report ID 153598
It says "Fixed in: 2013 ANDREA". If ANDREA is life on TQ already then it doesnt fix the issue since yesterday at 2200 eve time the problem still existed.

New to Eve (2 weeks or so) and not sure if this is related to any changes Retribution made...but it did happen after the patch.
About 21hrs ago my skills stopped training upon completing a rank of Drone Durability, which didn't actually train, it still said "Completion Imminent"...but was long overdue to complete and nothing else in queue had started. I tried everything from clearing queue, pause/reapply, relog, clear cache, reboot. So I created a petition for my UI not updating my skills. Then, after sometime, it magically it allowed me to train again, but Drone Durability still hadn't changed from "Completion Imminent".
I come back in after work and I've got Drone Durability & Drone Combat training at the same time...at this I scoffed, cause the first problem wasn't bad enough, right? Well this should be interesting I thought, as they were going to complete at the same time. So I make it a point to log in later to watch. As it happened, Drone Durability again reverted to "Completion Imminent" and Combat finishes like nothing special and training proceeds to the next task. Not that interesting afterall, so I log back off since there was still no reply to my petition.
I log back in sometime later and find that now Drone Durability is @ -25k/7k and counting, while my other skills in queue are training....I've made a bug report so y'all will have a screen shot of this and hopefully I get a fix sometime. |

Ever since Patch 1.1.0 was deployed, I have had issues loading stations with my ice harvester toon. When i log in while docked or go to dock, I have to wait 1-2 minutes before the station environment loads. I load from a Solid state drive. I tried loading from one of my 2 HDDs and also on my other computer, all resulting the same.
I also had a problem where the game client would lock up and crash when my computer shut the monitors off. However, i think this has been fixed with 1.1.2. |

Wormhole sound effects are completely gone since the patch. Can't hear the wh sitting around it and can't hear an activation.
Also, with shader on low pre-patch the color of the system on the other side of the wh would shine through. Post-patch the wh assumes the background color of the system you're in.

only thing that continues to annoy me is the log in page not quitting itself after having chosen to go to displayed advertisement or to website forums, etc. Instead I get back to log in page and it jams at end of authentication every single time so I have to quit, restart.

On the Mac version, when closing the system map with probes launched and reopening the system map, occasionally it becomes no longer possible to double-click the probe's name to re-centre the interface. Naturally, this soon makes scanning unreasonably frustrating.
It is kinda possible to work around it currently, by aligning the probe with a planet with moons, and letting the moons' names expand over the name of the probe until the probe's name glitches. The name can then be selected as before.
Technically, I suppose, this isn't a bug with this release, as the same would happen before. It's just that the probe names glitched much more readily previously. |

I thought it was my ISP but since then I have tried it with several computers, several different ISPs and still get this disconnect. Quite annoying. Audio problem!!!
If you have look at on another players ship and he decides to dock the audio makes a hghajhsf noice and disables audio (audio is on in the settings though). When you zoom in and out or rotate the camera it makes the crack noice again and it puts audio on and off.
I haven't seen this problem happen anywhere else but the instances when you have look at on another ship and he docks.

My client frequently fails to launch on my Mac.
Post-patch sometimes when I click "Play" in the launcher, the launcher disappears and nothing actually starts. Once this problem occurs it will not go away until I restart my computer.
Restarting temporarily fixes the problem sometimes, but not always.
I did not have this problem during the week that I played pre-patch. |

5 Missile bays and 2 Hybrid turrets, fitted and loaded. When I exited Jita, I grouped the weapons.
I test fits against missions. L1 OK L2 OK but I was going to complain about the graphic for missile and gunfire showing only a single weapon.
Then a L3 mission... I spent 10 minutes putting down a Pithium Inferno. Then after I had kited everything away, I was left with this Pithatis Assassin. I started picking at him from 58km and he was repairing himself. I closed and switched from Tungsten to lead --ran out of missiles and reloaded with Mjolnir in place of scourge--still nothing--repairing as fast as I could damage him. So I switched to inferno and antimatter and went in to orbit closer... launched drones against a battlecruiser...
By the way, the missiles no longer responded to my mouse clicks--used the F1 key, then I noticed the damage the drones were doing was not that much less than my weapons... I ungrouped. ONE Bay was launching ONE Turret was firing. The others had what I had loaded into them when I left Jita.
With the weapons ungrouped, I dragged my fingernails across the F keys and the Pithatis assassin disappeared in 2 volleys.
That's D- performance for your UX team. |

The high-slots of the Prophecy are "unsymmetric": The prophecy has now only 5 High-Slots, which are set as follows: 2 Left (on the "Wing-Tip") 2 Middle 1 Right (on the "Wing-Tip")
The forward-middle should be moved to the right "wing", so it's 2 left, 1 middle, 2 right.
It's just an optical issue, but it looks strange and is easy to fix.

In the L1 mission "The Heiress" the Polygypsum is not recognized as obtained if it is in the ore hold of a Venture when you dock to complete the mission. Still not recognized if moved from the Ore Hold to the Items Hangar. The workaround is to place it in the Items Hangar, switch ships and then place it in the hold of the new ship. Instantly recognized.

I've been having same issue. Task manager says the application is not responding. Running Windows 7 (64) Don't have to be running multiple clients for this to happen. Alt-tab out of the game for a bit and you can't get back.
There is also something wrong with the sound effects - noticable when running a mission. Half of thm is missing. I tried reseting the audio effects but it only helps for a bit. Seems they fail by random. Sometimes it's the drones annother time it's the turret sounds that are missing. When it comes to missiles the sounds of the explosions are cut off before they reach the end.
I've been also having more DC's than usual Today - The Power of Two Tomorrow - 2 Hulks and an Orca |

At first I thought the people complaining about drones were just noobs failing to adapt. Up until the last mission I did I had lost 2 drones total. I just lost 5 (not all at once) on the last mission and had to get help because my myrmidon is pretty much useless without drones. No matter what I did my drones got agro instantly. Small drones and medium drones same thing. I was too scared to even try heavies. Didn't matter if I had a red box on all the rats. Didn't matter if I was webbing and/or shooting them. They would immediately agro the drones as soon as said drones shot something no matter what I did. This is ridiculous and needs to be fixed or you might as well delete gallente ships from the game. |

Problems i am having
Random client freeze - playing the game as per normal couple of clients open and 1 will randomly freeze and i will have to force close via the task manager.
I am running a core i7 3770 3.4ghz, 16gb ram, windows 8 x64, AMD HD 7800 GPU with a SSD.
I tried it on a second machine being core i7 3770 3.4 ghz, 16gb ram, windows 8 x64, Geforce GTX 560 ti GPU with SSD and the same issue.
I have never had this issue pre retribution 1.1.
Edit: There seems to be a lot more of the socket closed errors after the patch and not just 1 client but all at the same time. |

I clicked "Strip fittings" on my Reaper and it did just that, then I went back to my Ventuer and it appeared as if I had no fittings. I checked fittings and they were still fitted, but I could not visually see them on my ship. When I undocked to use them, they are still invisible and so are the visual effects, but are still functional. I logged, relogged, and refitted the ship, but the turrets are still invisible. "Strip fittings" on one ship, visually stripped everything in the ship bay. They work, just cant see them. |

I use to play with 8 clients. For a couple of years I didn't had any problems and with less powerfull systems. After the last update I realize I can't open more than 3 or 4 clients in the same time, because there is extremely heavy load of my CPU's. My system has 4 CPU's and I saw 90-100% very often now since the EVE login screen process. I made all the newest updates and I'm trying to minimize all the settings, without a good result so far. I saw less load with one client window maximize and others minimized!!! But that's not a solution!

Took me 5 attemps to log 5 clients in today . I got a socket closure after about 30 seconds every time.. Also took them all mining and the roid fields had not spawned properly. Each roid was popping after just one cycle of my strip miner t2 : P im good but not that good. Did a scan and found that almost every roid had under 8000 units in each roid and some of the massive roids that held 100 k had not even spawned..

Simple, but annoying client bug: after logging in, sometimes random people in local list show as neutrals. If list is long enough to allow scrolling, simply scrolling those names out of view and back fixes their icon, so its purely display problem. |

Sorry that I did not checked through all the previous pages, but at some point (retribution 1.1 or 1.1.1) when I tried exploration, interface become unresponsive as far as attempts to center the screen on particular object (e.g. to center on probe by double clicking). Docking/undocking fixed it, but maybe shouldn't have happened. Haven't tried exploration recently though, so not sure if problem still appears or not. Saw someone complaining about similar behavior in exploration channel once. |

Here's one: When viewing ships if you click on the picture to view a 3d image it's not the ship in the info pane! Here's another: Ghosting in the Overview panel. Rows of "greyed out" ships/stations/etc are visible. Another: Same Overview panel. I cannot start the game after today's patch.
Yesterday evening I wanted to test something on Sisi so I fired up that client and it patched itself. But when I then started the client it just quietly terminated. I thought 'well it wasn't that important anyhow" and went to bed.
Then today I started my TQ client and it patched itself and now I have the same issue with it: The application starts, the EVE icon is in the taskbar for a few seconds, but at the point where usually the actual game window opens, the icon just disappears again. Not even an error message.
Running the repair tool didn't help.
(Windows 7, Intel Core i5, 4GB RAM, nvidia GTX 460) . |

I don't see in logs after patch logs about warping.
We have logs about : - align, jump to gate, docking, undoking, aproach and NOTHING about - Warp drive activation or Micro jumping and real WARPING.
So, we have only logs if something prevent us from warping, like disrupters, but nothing if warping was sucsesseful before. We have only sound notification about this warping action, but we have only WARP DRIVE ACTIVE sound, but sounds NOT logged in game, and many of us play without sounds.
And we cannot find anymore this important action in logs, so it's impossible to know we really in warp or it's again falshe information on screen and we still on mission or on spot, and we cannot prove we warp away or not.

Not sure if this one has been reported but there's something wrong with the info of launched drones.
Apparently the damage modifier and also access difficulty bonus (for salvage drone) is incorrectly displayed. The value shown is the default one (without any bonus from skills/ship). The value is displayed correctly when drone info is accessed when they're in drone bay (not launched) though.
Could be just me but seems the bug persists even after re-docking. Anyone else having this bug? |

On the main screen check if you already have a route displayed at the top left of the screen or you have an GÇÿA Route No DestinationGÇÖ displayed.
If not then click the GÇÿAGÇÖ button at the very top left of the screen to open the GÇÿA Route no destinationGÇÖ setting.
Click the GÇÿAGÇÖ and a drop down menu should appear, it might be slow to drop down or can take a few clicks to get it to appear. I don't know if you guys found this before, But for the Scorpion Navy Issue (I think is does this for the regular scorpion too.) if you put guns + cruise missile It puts the gun and the launcher in one place on the left and right wing on the same slot spot, I don't know if its a coding issue or its just the way it was fitted. Could you guys look at it? And maybe make the bug with mods in the low if you click on them when your docking thay get locked up then you need to repackage your ship and refit which is annoying to do, I had to do it a good 20 times... So if you guys can take a look at it. Thanks! |

What an amazing array of problems you've "patched" into an already perma-beta game! It's amazing that CCP is so arrogant that it tests nothing and expects CUSTOMERS to come up with work-arounds to their mistakes. Here's a small list of mine though:
- updater (virus) errors out on the executable it opens up. Fix: CCP hires competent coders to fix an issue that has been around for 5 months or more. 2nd part of this fix is to hire competent managers that actually ensure the coders are competent and doing their job. - Eve client uses nearly 2x the cpu it used to and 50 to 100mb more ram - overview doesn't update - ships don't warp and dock. This has been the standard since the inventory virus was updated months ago - ships don't warp and dock. This has also been present since the inventory virus was patched in. - drag and drop doesn't work, and typically, a dev-who-can,t-be-bothered called it a "feature". Wow. - UI Update: "stack all" needs to be renamed to "stack something random, maybe". I don't remember how long ago it was that one click of "stack all" automagically stacked and sorted EVERYTHING, in one shot. Now, you hammer it 5 or 6 times and it MIGHT get everything. Lemme guess though, this is a "feature" right?? - fleet, corp, local and alliance tabs don't update. You can have a corp member in fleet and they show up white in the chat, but hey, DUST mercs are blue, EVERY TIME! That's important . . . - more than half the time, when dragging ore/modules from the orca's ore, fleet or cargo hold to one another, it explains that it can't do the operation because the orca's cargo hold is too far away from the orca's ore hold. This is months old, since the virus inventory update too. I know. Feature. - ships are doing an indicated half speed, while sitting there, not moving, with engines off - freighters magically undock with symmetrical half damage to shields, armour AND hull, that never repairs - targeted ships and/or asteroids randomly resort themselves, even when the ship or asteroids are completely motionless
There's more, but I'm going to go test the "patch" on singularity now, and then likely go play a game that actually works. All these standard bag-o-hammer problems that CCP adds, almost every patch, are proof positive that CCP can't be bothered to play their own game. Liekly because they know what the customers know - the devs do a lousy job at quality control. |

The client blue screens my windows 7 x64 client - that NEVER happened before in 3 years. This also happens to at least one other player in my corp when running more than one client.

Problem 1: Keyboard commands don't work in space. Except when they randomly do. Problem is repeatable but random.
e.g. Select an asteroid within range, press "G" for goto, either nothing happens at all, or you see the "Align target" text, or the craft actually goes to the asteroid. All outcomes are possible.
Same with all keyboard commands in space, e.g. Jump, Dock, etc. I have not tested using all default commands since I don't use them.
Naturally, this causes loss of craft in critical situations. Workaround is mouse clicking the "Selected Item" action boxes, which partly works.
Problem 2: Mouse cursor info over "Selected Item" actions does not reflect actual key assignments. Brackets are empty for everything except commands left as default.
Problem 3: Mouse cursor info when clicking actions in the "Selected Items" action boxes shows invalid commands. e.g. selected item is a dockable station, click "Dock", but the info flyover says "That action is not possible on asteroids" or similar. This happens even when the selected item is an asteroid and the action is valid, e.g. goto, or when the item is an enemy craft and the action is valid, e.g. keep at distance. The action is performed correctly just the info flyover says the wrong thing and has empty brackets for the key.
Potential Problem 4: There is no "Launch Drones" command, while there are commands for everything else to do with drones.
Apologies if I'm using incorrect terminology or this has been reported.

And I suspect a lots of regular members would like to have quick glances at news for anything applicable at a place more convenient to stop and read than EVE client logon. Plus I don't like having to log off to see new news posted in EVE client logon when someone mentions it.
Yes I am well aware there are workarounds if I just put a little extra effort into it.
But my counter is -- if CCP is bothering to put up webpages they at least keep the more prominent pages working and that particularly applies to homepages.
If proper content requires login to display - reduce that section to a login box rather than displaying a quarter page of content a year out of date...especially do not leave to the user to figure out the workarounds to get up-to-date content. And I suspect there are fairly easy ways for IGB to have automatic account logon (assuming that is the issue with news display or forum access) if someone stopped and thought about it. Not like the IGB is intended for standalone external use or linking to clients distributed on other client computer accounts or across network. Security issues should be fairly easy as that was why we have a IGB.
Oh and if you don't want problems with web pages showing up here. Have the web gurus throw in a footnote link on each webpage for where to report webpage bugs -- like another other professional websites. |

Visibility issue as 1 client would see a ship appear (decloak after coming through a jump gate), while another client (same overview settings) wouldn't see the same ship for about 5 seconds after others saw it. Kill right targets would show flashy red, yet the Kill right wasn't activated nor was the target in a war, suspect or criminal. My Killright Overview setting currently set to Orange so WTF?

I'm so sorry to repeat myself, but I'm still having keyboard recognition problems in the PC client and I'm unsure if this is just a problem with me or it's a genuine bug...
I'm logged on with cleared settings, and as a test, I tried the following: With "Combat/Warp To" set to "W" (shows up in Selected Item mouseover as "W"), 1) Select a warpable target in overview 2) Press "W" 3) Get window saying "You cannot navigate that way with the selected object. It is too far away. Try moving in its direction instead."
However : clicking the "Warp To..." button in the Selected Items window on the same target works! It even displays the "W" as the key!
Pressing the "Goto" key returns the same error : so is the client confusing the two keys, or is this something about the gameplay that I'm totally misunderstanding and should ask for help in the appropriate channel?
What am I doing wrong?
If anyone wants to verify this, it's super simple. Change the default key, enter space, select a couple of items, try warping to them with the new key. Remember, sometimes it works for a while, then it stops.
Thanks for any help with this - it's driving me to desperation (i.e. resetting all my lovely shortcuts, UI settings, confirmation dialogs... )

Hitting "O" to bring up the Ore Hold window works fine, but pressing "O" again to get rid of it doesn't work. The character gets put in the Search text box.
My understanding of the UI is that pressing the activation key again for any window on top of the stack closes that window. It does for all the other windows, anyway.
I assume this is partially simple oversight, and partially an attempt to make the window "friendlier". The combination doesn't work.

In the "Shortcuts" tab, I've noticed there's an anomaly.
It's possible to duplicate a key combination in the "Navigation / Toggle Autopilot" with "Combat / Align To".
The reverse doesn't work - the duplicate is trapped. But do it the other way, and it's fine.
Hope this helps, and I apologise if someone else has already mentioned it! I did do a search on the forum and it found none of those terms together or apart...

If proper content requires login to display - reduce that section to a login box rather than displaying a quarter page of content a year out of date...especially do not leave to the user to figure out the workarounds to get up-to-date content. And I suspect there are fairly easy ways for IGB to have automatic account logon (assuming that is the issue with news display or forum access) if someone stopped and thought about it. Not like the IGB is intended for standalone external use or linking to clients distributed on other client computer accounts or across network. Security issues should be fairly easy as that was why we have a IGB.
Oh and if you don't want problems with web pages showing up here. Have the web gurus throw in a footnote link on each webpage for where to report webpage bugs -- like another other professional websites. Back in the day, I did webpage design and maintenance for my bread-and-butter.
I'm more than happy to help update not only the years-out-of-date CCP gateway (EVE Gate), but also the last-decade-out-of-date wikis.
Problem is, I'm a noob (ish), so I'm spending too much time getting podded in my mining rigs by teams of Battleships and Battlecruisers to be figuring out on my own that what the pages tell me is wrong, or at least misleading. That goes for mining, skills, certificates, general outfitting, weapons outfitting (which is the same page), and pretty much everything - except weapons, of course. Pew pew, and all that.
Some of the info is still helpful, for lateral thinkers, but for the run-of-the-mill noob, who in real life crashes his car into a house because his GPS said "Turn right now", the pages drastically need not only updating technically, but with reference to the Retribution "ethos".
If I didn't have to keep waking up my clones, I'd love to collate some notes for noobs myself. Note 1: any non-mining ship arrives, you GTFOOD (get the "heck" out of Dodge!). Whoops. Channeled my character there for a mo'...
Maybe CCP can put my last quarterly PLEX towards a web-specific update manager?

Here's a few more : Hopefully the UI can be fixed sometime soon.
1) Overview settings made and applied in-station fail to apply when undocked, and have to be laboriously re-configured.
ii) Randomly, new items will become checked in different overview brackets. For example, in a "ships only" bracket, where nothing but ships are enabled (checked), all of a sudden asteroid belts will appear.
C) There needs to be a separate set of shortcuts for in-station commands and in-space commands. It's not acceptable to have a keystroke for launching drones (which isn't actually a command!) "taken" when it could be used for commands in-station.
IV) Shortcut keys do not work the same in Mac and PC versions of the client. With the exact same set of windows open and active in both clients, different keystrokes ('bare' keys without modifiers, shifted keys, control/alt modified keys) work completely differently in both clients.
5) Shortcut keys MUST TAKE PRIORITY in all situations! - If there are windows open, but none are active, most (but not all ) shortcut keys work as advertised. - If a window is open and active, but there are no text boxes active, most (but not all  ) shortcut keys fail to work at all!
f) Shortcut keys MUST be able to be exported and imported.
7) Overview settings, when imported, should identically configure the Overview tabs and filters as they were exported from.
VIII) Could the developers have come up with a worse font? The font needs to be configurable. Serif fonts are there for a reason, guys and gals. That reason is so that confusing characters, such as 1 and I and l, or O and 0, or commas and periods, can be distinguished. The current font (which I know is touted as an improvement over the previous font) is just execrable. It almost makes the game unplayable. That stands for miners, brokers, and pirates.
Boy this UI stinks.

The ship console (cap, hull, armor, shields) disappeared and the Neocom icons were "dragged" into use. Very funny seeing whatever's last on the Neocom bar arcing to and fro as your ship accellerates and decellerates. Heh heh heh.
I really hope the devs are working on these problem reports. Especially the 'UI 101' problems. (Pssst! someone changed something...)

An issue with portrait rendering has been fixed Having trouble with portraits for several months. Portraits of my toons always change hair and lighting settings after some time i make them. Several hours - and the portrait changes itself and turns into something ugly. Tried clearing the cache and so on - no effect. Think it's server-side. Not really bothers me, but annoying if you should renew these portraits every time you log in...
NOW: I wonder guys what *portrait rendering* issue you've fixed with this update? Because my issue is still here

Sound card issues :
1) Sound card switching doesn't work.
I can confirm that on 3 platforms (W7x64, W7x32, and now MacOSX 10.7.5) that selecting any option in the sound output selector in the config menu basically has no effect on the client, regardless of the sound card (Xonar Essence STX, Audigy 2ZX, various motherboard implementations of Realtek HD Audio, and Macbook Pro with and without M-Audio Transit USB).
The EO client continues to use only the default or currently connected sound device in use when the EO client starts.
However, a workaround is to switch away from the EO client, switch soundcards manually to allow the system to use the other card. This doesn't affect the EO client. However, see the next issue...
2) Tweaking the parameters of the sound card the EO client is using results in instant muting of the client.
This can be "fixed" only by restarting the client. None of the audio options has any effect.
The client appears to be mishandling messages sent by some applications to the sound API. Adjusting the volume externally to the client will mute the client if the application modifying the volume is NOT a system applet. So third-party apps that send volume change messages mute the client, while system volume changes don't.

Now that I'm trying to get to grips with the game at more than a tryout level, I'm starting to very seriously wonder exactly what the alpha and beta testing process is, was, and will be.
Right now, it looks very much as if a group of hardcore, indepth players are testing a few very simple things that they really like playing with, and that's why the bugs introduced into less sexy areas, such as the user interface, which is badly broken on all platforms, don't get sorted when they should.
I'm sure there's a lovely, shiny, gloss-coated list hanging on a CCP wall somewhere outlining the defined testing procedures - which are ignored in lieu of pretty, shiny, pew-pew stuff. That's the way big corporations work. Instead of getting game-lovers, they're getting aspect-lovers, which explains a lot of the recent "rebalancing" and "re-rebalancing" and so on that's going on at the moment.
As an example of my incomprehension in this area : I cannot believe that a game with this pedigree has so many serious bugs in the keyboard handling, both in the UI (hotkeys being misinterpreted as text inputs, or -worse- hotkeys being ignored entirely, for no reason. And there are so many more!
That is programming 101, which appears to have been ignored in favour of features 101. I'm getting more and more disappointed in Eve the more I get into it. And I mean frustratingly, teeth-grindingly disappointed. Eve could be so much better, so simply...
Ah well. Keep piling up the problems, guys. Our beta-testing days are no longer behind us...

The Export Overview Settings option produces XML data that isn't valid or syntactically correct.
There are a few missing opening element names in the groups elements, and also in the profile elements.
I wonder if these are causing problems when I try to export from one character and import to another? It would explain the failure of the settings to be correctly parsed.
