So Raven>Scorpion Navy>Raven Navy This would be the correct order to fly right? Where would the State Raven fit in? |

huh? If you are looking for what is considered "best" and an order to list them in your list is a good one generally. And ignore the state raven, you'll never get your hands on it...
does that answer your question? |

nonono you are doing it all wrong. correct order is Pod>badger > tengu. Unless you plan on flying ECM scoripions caldari BS skill is a wasteful deadend compared to much better choices out there. |

It is in the PvE forum at least. (Edit: No it isn't. Not sure why I thought it was.)
OP, ship progression isn't as straightforward as all that. Ships aren't just "better" than one another in a vacuum, they are only better at a job compared to another ship.
Presumably, the "job" here is running missions, but even that isn't terribly straightforward. For instance, taking a Raven into an L1 would be an exercise in abject frustration. Taking a low skill Raven into an L4 might well get you killed if you're not careful.
Basically, everything here is speculative without context. In general, a Caldari mission-running-with-missiles progression would look something like Kestrel or Corax for L1s, Corax or RLML Caracal for L2s, HM Caracal, Drake, or Tengu for L3s, and Drake or Raven to start L4s, followed by Tengu/CNR/Golem when you want to risk more on them. This path often leads, with some additional training, to a Nightmare later. But the amount of variation possible is rather substantial. |

Has several things worse than Caracal > drake > raven > navy raven > tengu golem > golem (I'd put the Tengu here, myself) or rattlesnake Navy Domi(chearper for similar effectiveness. Unless you're doing something like tanking l5's or some ****) > Vargur > Machariel > Carrier > Supercarrier > Titan
I mean, who here doesn't rat in a titan, right?
But this is all my opinion on the matter. Some might see it differently. |

Navy Scorpion and Navy Raven aren't that far appart and there are quite a few senarios where the Navy Scorpion is better than than the Raven.
PVE wise only some Pirate faction ships do better than the Caldari Navy Ships,
PvP wise the Caldari Battleships do a little less though Rokh and Scorpion have there uses as do Torp Ravens although their niece is rather small.
Considering both you should keep this in mind.
Missiles ships will show a relative low DPS on EFT
Navy Raven > DPS/ higher skills needed/ more expensive/ high gank profile.
Navy Scorpion > Tank/ More versible/ can be omni tanked there for better in less friendly area's/better against smaller targets/ lower gank profile

If you're starting with a Raven, and it's working, why would you randomly do all the training diversion into Scorpion instead of just going to the Navy Raven? |
