I once lost a raven several months ago when I let off six cruise missles at a frigate. The frigate was outside a station in empire and he was helping a corp mate test his ship setup. I didn't realize this at that time, and to me, I thought it was just one player bullying the other. I didn't realize at that time that corp mates can fire on each other without fear of retribution. I hadn't had any pvp experience up to that point, so the whole thing took me by surprize. Sad thing is that if I wasn't so damned drunk that night, I could have tanked concord all the way to docking range. Kids, don't drink and fly...at least not while you're a noob.

So after some time i had nice killmails in my inbox, so i thought its time to post em. Local was clear for like 10-15mins already, so i, warp to ZXB gate at 100 and alt-tab to the FA kill-boards and start posting. So once i alt-tab back i see 3 intys approaching me and already tackling. Well, i had no tank, so it was only matter of time But that was so dumb to go afk at gate.....still dunno why i decided to alt-tab at gate and go post killmails -=-

Lefia	Posted - 2005.08.11 00:16:00 - [8] I got 2 good ones. 1: Was in a crusader doing level 3 mission back when an oversized AB crusader could destroy anything short of a BS with a good tank. So I warp into the mission and since it was a long warp I quickly run out to my porch to check on the steaks I have cooking on the grill. Soon as I leave my seat my fiance jumps on the computer alt-tabs and jumps on the internet to check his mail. I of course by the time I get back inside had completely forgotten about warping in to the kill mission. By the time I get my comp back about 25 minutes later I'm in a pod looking at my can with sengrin min (sP?) laughing at me. 2: Jump into a level 4 guristas plex with my zealot, I see a horrendous blob of roughly 25 cruisers and 30 frigs staring me in the face. Undaunted I shoot down one of the frigs, it melts before my first cycle even finishes firing, so the mod doesn't aggro. I then target a cruiser and unlease on it. The entire blob locks me at about 30km, and my comp lags hard. I can't even activate my armor rep through the lag, let alone try to warp out. I was toast in about 30 seconds, if that. Don ZOLA	Posted - 2005.08.11 00:21:00 - [11] Edited by: Don ZOLA on 11/08/2005 00:21:28 once before dt, jsut woke up and logged in to c for some bypassers in fd-mlj - pf-346 area. so i undock in ceptor fd and jump to pf...killed some frig... for couple of mins it was all clear so i decided to go back to fd...aproach gate, jump... im cloacked i c griffin and some other frig at gate, cant remember which one now. decided to go for griffin first. lock, orbit, web, scramble, fire, my first salvo goes out then suddenly my shields gone, in next half sec armor gone and then ship under control. i was like wtf that other frig has cuz griffin didnt even locked me back... ** it lets save the pod, right click to chose a ss, top bm says orvolle insta dock 1st station, wtf why r my orvolle bms visible in FD O.o . i just choose some other ss and warp out. very surprised about all that and bit **ed how 2 frigs easily killed me...but still my brain wasnt clear enough to think about everything... so i decide to check the log to try to find out how they blow me up so fast... wtf r sentry guns doing in fd ? He warps to a safespot grouping. Lovely pod bug flashing, one of the tacklers gets a little triggerhappy and kills the pod, then loses his ship to concord shortly after. Sorry just remembered it. I logged off the previous night in a belt cause I was lazy (was npcing). Next day I log in thinking I'm at my safespot, I see the character thing loading so I minimize the eve window and read the forums about 30min, by that time I had forgotten I had logged in 30min before. So I pull up the eve window and... There I was in a pod. Found out that a cruiser spawn blew my ship up 5min before I stopped looking at the forum. Lost about 80 million isk

Um, I forget to turn off my sheild booster now and then when killing npcs. i lost a tempest that way when my cap drained and i thought i could take the spawn still. Turns out i couldn't get into warp fast enough before i lost my armor and hull lol. I lost another bs when running dual clients and i alt tabbed into my alt as it warped to a POS. both clients lagged and before i could recover i was in a pod on my main lol. So i just keep current range on him til some other peeps in local com to kill him. But i decide to mess with him and move in and orbit at about 50km so he cant kill me but get really ****ed off. Apparently i hit the "Approach" button instead of "orbit" and get pwnd by his tech 2 rails before i can fly away :(

When in actuality it just ends up being me, in my Scorpion, getting owned by 7 or 8 guys in battleships and other various elements, who divy out my loot and laugh in local at why I took on 8 guys. And the whole time I am sure I was thinking... "8 war targets? Haha, I'll be fine."

Just as I finished killing off the spawn, I got IMed by a chick who I really enjoy talking to. I spent about an hour chatting with her, tabbed back into game, and was looking at my pod. The spawn had blown away my Cerberus, fitted out with all 'Arbalest' Heavies and a lot of named and Tech 2 gear. The funny part is, this girl also plays EVE (before anyone asks, yes, I've talked to her on TS) so she felt SO bad about it, even though it really was my fault... I got a report from a corpmate that the 0.0 gateway was camped, so I decided I'd head back to station and dock. I think I was reading CNN or Slashdot or something at this point, and not watching what instajumps I was using.. Needless to say, I instajumped and gated into 0.0. When I went to dock, I looked at the system name as was like o_sht. My Apocalypse was quickly vaporized. At least I got my pod out.

Killed the BS's, cruisers and tacklers etc with ease and these was just 1x 500k sansha indy thing about 80km away. I alt tab out to go have a look on the forums for abit while my tank is on and quickly get a drink, alt tab back in and my armor has just failed before my eyes because the 2x 500k BS's have just spawned back Another time i lost a megathron, tried loading the map while jumping in a 0.0 system and it froze on me, just before i closed eve to relog the gate activated. I log back in with a really bad feeling thinking i should have logged with some random alt to convo my gang m8 and ask if local is clear, i didnt so i carried on logging in. Warped back to the gate, an armageddon and claw are there waiting for me, pop goes the mega (setup to gank) and my pod too (1st time podded, and only time)

I jump in 3A1P I saw 2 hostiles in local one of them a ceptor 120km from the gate. Then I wrote my report to the chat and I was ready to bugger off. My wife came in and start whining why I didn't weight myself yet. She couldn't stop and I turn my head to see her. An Ishtar jummped at the gate and pump drones, I start hitting him (he loocked me and i was in autolock) and I saw that 50% of his shield were gones. (lost my concetration insteed of run). After few seconds more people logged and shred me to pieces along with my pod. My wife all that time didn't stop shouting behind my head. (i didn't said a word). And when I pop to my cloning station she said "A fine. now you are docked, go and weight yourself". Morale. Obey your Master. You will die either way. So at this point Im going OMGWTF and trying to run away wondering why the mean police are beating on me - I mean, hes my corpmate, and I already told him I was gunna wail on him, I didnt have a bounty - whats going on here!? So their first volley hits me, and man, it burns. About this time, my second volley hits my friend. Hes in a pod. "EUREKA!" I shouted IRL, wondering what happens next. Now, Im ****ed, because I am going to lose my precious kessie. This is NOT the time to anger the Razner with whines like "omg my ibis" "where is the bathroom" "I cannot feel my toes..." etc. My friend, in his infinite wisdom, screams on gang chat "YOU ARENT JUST LEAAAAVING ME HEERE, AAARREE YOOOU?" This is the point in the game where I turned bad. I grinned and locked onto him, and said "No way Turner, leaving you here would be cruel." "You damn right." "Im killing you instead." "WTF". My volley hit him and destroyed him at the same instant my ship died to concord. And that is how my 2 day old character, Fenga Montego, got his -1.2 sec status... and that is why I quit. Edit - using HIM, anyway. Besides, hes stinky caldari. Intaki are much sexier. <3 Theres also the story about me freaking out over the 5k bounty a STI mate put on my head... but I wont get into that.

Lo and behold, a stiletto at 60 km, i try to lock him but but he warps off before i can get that lock. I was in my mega, full rack of Modal Neuts, Large accom, all named **zle following these instas. Now it doesn't take a genius to work out that following the instas through Arzani a 0.6 is a BAD** idea when your -10 as we currently were. There is that split second when your heart sinks when you realise what you've just done...Megathron go boom We lost more ships to those damned instas than we lost to CFS during that whole period. Negotiator was the best though, he lost his scorp in Arzani then bought and pimped out a Raven. Maybe an hour later he did exactly the same trick and lost his brand new Raven, I had to persuade him to see the funny side and not quit the game over that In the end I had to send a corp mail telling everyone to delete them....so much for m0o proffesionality. Bunch of nubs more like

So, I left the station in my Moa and thought for a few moments on what I could do to best see the new fancy graphics. Idea !!. I'll fire off my smartbomb. The graphics were awesome, far better than my previous aging machine. Unfortunately, and i'm sure you've already guessed, I was only a couple of km from the station. Scratch one Moa. ;( I bet I'm not the first and I'm sure I won't be the last. ;p
dantes inferno	Posted - 2005.08.11 11:55:00 - [38] top 2 for me would be 1) having just woken up forgot to turn on my hardners against a 2 bs npc spawn (2*1 mil angels) and couldnt understand why my shields went so quick. lost the ship inc. 1 zw launcher which at the time was worth 40 mil. got the other one back thank god (though i lost them all a week later when i lost track of where i was and jamp straight into a gate camp) 2) last night in a 0.0 belt for the first time in months, forgot that some spawns scramble, had a pvp setup striped down to mine in (1st time i had bothered to mine in 0.0). no stabs, a 4 scramble frig and 1 mil bs spawned right on me and scrambled me, asked a corp mate for help, but people has left so much noob ships and shuttles outside the station he couldnt get their in time..so i died _____

I'd just got my 1st ever Brutix, and as i'd spent nearly all my money on it i could not afford to insure it. So was keeping it in empire space. I'd fitted an afterburner and a smartbomb (to this day i dont know why i fitted a smartbomb). Anyway, you might have guessed what happened next. I had just warped to a gate and went to press the afterburner button, but there was that Satisfaction video on TV (the one with the chicks in bikini's using power tools). Any way, not paying attention to what i was doing i went and pressed the bloody smartbomb button. BANG! Concord wiped me out in less then a minute... I've never fitted a smartbomd to a ship ever since..........

"help me corpmate" "rgr that... omw" "oh crap, i'm dead" "stick around, i'll kill them and get your can... can i take them in my jaguar?" "sure" i say turns out a close range jaguar with no web has no business fighting merc wingmen... boom goes my corpmate... wow that sucks... and i also notice my wallet is NOT flashing a nice big pretty number... what's this? where is my insurance? it expired?! AND i lost my scout 1400's AND my domination ab? we (but mostly me) retired for the evening in shame

One other pilot took damage on the explosion and the concord police made the rest ....

I was flying a crusader with its cookie cutter short range setup. I was 2Xwebbed, jammed and scrambled, then killed. I was ****ed off and I wanted to prepare for this happening again. So I made some changes to my setup and fitted a tech II radar backup array, for an extra +4 of radar strength. We had done a couple before, and developed a tactic that worked. The Mega stayed at range, yet close enough to keep aggro of the whole spawn, while those of us in cruisers went in to do our jobs. However, I was the only one fitted for up-close and personal..... So, eventually, the Mega pilot thinks a few of the NPC's are getting too close, so he hits the AB.. And forgets it. Suddenly he moves out of aggro range. At the same time, I'm in the middle of the Guristas spawn, including 4 Guristas BS's and maybe 8 cruisers left, happily tearing a cruiser apart, when suddenly the overview starts blinking like mad. And then I see all the glowing dots approaching me, as I try to align for warp....

Get a mission, go out, lock the rats (i think there were 4 or 6 of them), and fire..... well, I though it would fire.... So instead of warping out, I open my cargo hold and check for ammo, sure enough, I had 500 rounds there, but the gun would still not fire. So I tried to run away (yah, it was before I learned to align first before warping), but got killed before could get to warp. My first ship lost on my third day of playing eve.... Can you figure out what went wrong? Two words.... Tutorial Flaw During the tutorial you use the default gun on the Ibis, which being a civilian gatling gun DOES NOT USE AMMO. Nowhere in the tutorial it shows you that you have to LOAD THE AMMO INTO THE GUN, having ammo in cargo hold is useless if you do not load it..... I did learn to always load your guns..... Now if i can only remember to turn my hardners on while tanking..... But that is a different story Icesail

I run into the middle of the frigs with my smartbomb active, failing to notice that the person I was 'helping' had already launched drones. SB hits a drone and CONCORD decide to destroy my lovely new uninsured cruiser that I had saved up for a month to buy. Crap

BOOM, little pod floatin around i was in a Trasher with 7 200mm autocannons and a standard missle launcher, no sheild boost or anything, just what comes with the ship .. ooooops thankfully im part of my step-dads corp and he was kind enough to give me a bit of cash to buy a new one, it wasn't quite enough so 2 other guys (both of which i knew from another clan i was part of) ended up givin my 2 and 3 million, so i got a new Trasher and weapons, and now i'll leave the drones untill i can use at least simething better then small basic weapons beat that .. lol

Undocked warped to gate and saw some NPC frigs there, locked them and press the SB by mistake and hit the billboard. 20 seconds later in a pod, and to top it all off I had forget to insure it

Me and my friend wanted to test the dmg output of an apoc with few dmg mod on it, this was before the cold war patch, and I did not have my BS there so I shield tank fitted a BB with 1 L shield extender and few rechargers (no hardeners) and I undocled. I said to him: "just use manual but activate all the guns at once." K my friend goes to his optimal range and opens fire with 6 L lasers on manual (I don't know exactly what type) k the next thing I know I'm in a pod.. He had got 4 wreckings hit of 600-700 dmg and 2 excellent hits around 300 dmg

Of course the can was my selected target, not the pod. -0.5 sec status and one Harpy down. I was relieved, though, to see that my Gistii Small Shield Booster had survived. However, a ****head from ATUK in a Taranis who was just flying by by coincidence looted my can before my corpmate could retrieve it for me.

I thought, what the hell, I'm gonna go blow him up, I don't care about losing my ship. So I loaded up my Caracal with cruise missiles (as this was still possible at the time) and swatted the ore thief like a fly (he was in a Reaper). At that time I also didn't know that aggressing someone near a station would disable you from docking. I had devised this clever plan of coming out of warp behind the Reaper, enabling my MWD, destroying the Reaper, and firing up my 2nd MWD to dock at the station instantly. Of course that didn't work. No matter, I was prepared to lose my ship, which I then did. Yet another thing I did not know about at the time was that 30-minute aggression timer. I undocked the station in a Reaper and got killed by Concord again. I went away in a pod, left the system and bought a new Caracal. Then I came back in the previous system I was in... and lost the brand new Caracal once I uncloaked at the gate. :\

Spend nearly a week doing nothing but playing with setups, often sitting at a planet seeing how long my tank would run, occasionally having corpmates shoot at me to see how well it held up. Asked a lot of questions, got a lot of advice - what damage types I need to tank, what types I need to deal, "don't fit a web you need the extra cap recharger", "load your siege launchers with fof cruise as you warp in to take out interceptors that scramble you, then switch to torps to kill BS/cruisers", etc. Finally I settle on something I think I'm happy with, I'm ready to fight some rats. Only corpmate online at the time that might be able to bail me out in a tight spot is 11 jumps away and can't be bothered to come down and babysit me, 'cause he doesn't want to have to haul loot to the refinery to reprocess it I'm a little miffed, but no matter, I figure I'll just start easy, I can warp in at 60km and avoid anything too big, start with cruisers and work up to single BS spawns. Well, first BS spawn I see is a triple - one 750k and two 500k, with 2 interceptors. So glad I am that I warped in at 60km, and in such a hurry to warp out, that I forgot what I was doing and warped to the next belt at 20k. (^^Really Stupid Mistake #1) There I find another triple BS spawn, this one a 1.5mil, and two 1mil, with 4 interceptors, all within 30k of me WARP WARP WARP! Start shooting fof cruise - WTF no valid targets? Ok start locking scramblers - incidentally I finish 1/2 of those locks before the fof's finally recognize the danger I'm in - why did I bother with fof's instead of regulars? Almost get away, but ship decides to pull a 360 degree turn at the last moment - and I'm scrambled, and webbed, and a few seconds later the short-range BS roll up on me. Quickly becomes obvious my missiles won't be able to kill the intys in time to warp out, so I switch to torps and focus everything I have on a 1mil BS, hoping to reduce the incoming damage enough to survive, but he's still at 1/4 armor when I pop. Meanwhile I died with 50% cap, tank still running, just overwhelmed - so why did fit an extra cap recharger instead of a web? Questionable advice was one thing, mis-clicking to warp out was another, but even so I still might have saved myself except for Really Stupid Mistake #2 - in my can were 10 heavy and 10 medium drones, never launched

Low and behold, the pirate who jumped me was defeated by someone else...Hell, I was home free at this time. I jumped into my Moa and headed back for safer space. I was mad at myself and the pirate....so when I saw the rat at the gate in the next system (in her pod) i locked and fired... "Hi sentry guns!" "Bye Bye Moa..." I've learned a lot since that day 18 months ago....never again....

Note this happened while 30mill was alot of money. Worst thing was, the the expander survived, but i could not get to it. When i could finally undock witout getting shot, someone had stolen the expander and left me the surviving drone from my drone bay "Since when have you been afraid of a little insanity? I'm in a 0.5 system and I undock in my Wolf (full with tech 2), when I saw a friend outside station in a Scorpion, and me noobs thinks, lets lock and orbit him, locking was easy, the orbiting part not cos I must have hitted a firing shortcut key or something cos suddenly I see my Small artillery II active and my shield going down. Wolf popped :(, the guy was thinking I was firing him to have fun and would tank sentries, didn't actually saw I was in wolf. There was also this time back when I was doing lvl 3's in Nonni, way back when in a Caracal, I saw another corpmate on a Caracal docking, so we engage (just for the fun of it, fire a few shots), dunno if something showed up on tv or something and I was in ganking setup, I just remember that when I stopped firing it was too late, already missiles in the air and his Caracal went down way too fast. I felt miserable after it, it was harder to get isk back in the day and I just had popped a corpmate's Caracal.

So omw to yulai i scan the systems for ships floating in space. Earlier that day a corp mate had found an apoc so i thought it had to be possible. Then after a few jumps, in tannolen(i think), i pick up 2-3 Iterons on scanner, i pin them down and launch the probes around and after a little while up comes the signature, great i think, lets look at it and I warp in. This is where i realise i found more than a few Iterons, i found a few POS structures, and they werent happy to see me :) Poof and my harpy+t2 rails where gone -Zaffa

He fired 1 shot at me ! My entire Sheild Vanished I panicked a little but I had armour repaireres on so was fine. Then I returned the Favour and Fired BACK, OMG My entire Cap Vanished. So The enemy Fired on me and took me sheild, 4800 sheild In 1 Hit ! I Fired back And lost all my Cap. Cut the Story short the remaining 4 terrorists orbitted me and started pummelling me Poor Borrowed Apoc I was helpless all I could do was watch this Beast of ship slowly get beaten up by 5 30,000 isk Rats. I petitioned explaining all details, CCP Said it was Possible that Due to lag all the missiles could have hit me at the same time and another weird excuse for Cap Loss, I know full well it was a bug, Because They fixed it In the NEXT patch ! This battle went on for weeks and I eventually gave up. And to this day I still owe Nitroviper 1 APOCALYPSE, sorry dude. The Dominix Saga. Stardate see above Days after my tragic loss of a freinds Apoc, I used the Insurance cash to get a dominix. You heard Me mention The Patch they brought in? Yep, they brought something else in. "Flagging for damaging player Property" So I was cruising in that wonderful place OPIO, Littered with secrure containers etc... With Nitroviper on my Wing. Playing with this Shiny Smartbomb. VOICE COM NITRO "TurT Watch that Smart bomb your pretty close to those cans" VOICE COM TuRtLe HeAd " Yeah Yeah I'm fine". Famous last words. Bang goes the Large EMP Smart bomb, And in warps Concord. Nitroviper sat on Teamspeak erupting with laughter as he watches me lose a second battleship in 2 Days. He also can't believe his luck that He actually watched me get concordokken for something so silly. So Those are my Stories I've lived and learned and I still owe Nitroviper 1 Apocalypse (I think I might owe him a bit more )

We warped around some asteroid fields, looking for someone to kill. I was flying a Prophecy, and he was flying a Ferox. We could both offload some serious pwnage - well, we thought we could... Eventually, we found a guy in a Sacrilege sat all alone in a belt, so we chatted to him for a bit, just being friendly. All this time I was co-ordinating with my corpmate, getting in to optimals, aligning to warp out and deploying drones. I then called engage' into the gang chat. We both fired and I stripped his shields in one or two volleys. I should have realised something was wrong when his missles hit and did almost no damage to the target's armour tank. Being a bit n00by back then, I hadn't bothered to find out just how tough the Sacrelige is. When the target returned fire, I took a lot of damage and warped out. My corpmate didn't and paniced at me for leaving him. I warped back, only to find myself confronted with the target... and his corpies, in a Cyclone and a Harpy. My corpmate finally managed to warp, and I did too. Unfortunatly, the harpy followed me, and soon after the HAC and Cyclone did too. I had no stabs. Result, wtfpwnage. Here ended my first and last attempt at piracy. I am now a pie hunter myself. Oh, in case you're wondering, the target in the HAC was the CEO of [TIP], a merc corp whose HQ was in the system. It was orbiting around me with a trail of missiles close behind, but they couldn't catch it. It took it like 20 minutes to kill me and it was preventing me from warping somehow. That was so painful to watch. I was in a Ferox, which I had just gotten. (I was a noob who had just gained the skill to use it) I had no drones or smartbombs or anything other than missiles. Looking back I think I deserved what I got, haha! -------------------- 5, 6, 7, 8! Who do we... uhhh.. I can't think of anything that rhymes with 8!

I'd warped in and had started moving off toward my mate who was quite a way away. After a minute I was satisfied that the Sanshas there weren't going to attack my precious Omen while I went for a wee. Thirty seconds later I hear laser fire, stick my head round the bathroom door (pants still round my ankles) just in time to see the ship die a glorious death.

I was in the SE fleet gang, on SE ts and the whole works and I had been told the way was clear from dss-ez to vol-mi. Me and some friends were going to the movies later that night and one of them came to my house early to just hang out. Now he's not an eve player so he doesn't understand the nessecity of intel in eve so he told me that those damn garbled english voices on ts were irritating the crap outta him so I exited ts to make the poor bastard not bleed out of his ears. Little did I know that a few seconds later, Inflatable Teen [COL] said on ts "Masta hold in b-3, there's a small CA gang waiting for you in u-q" and I jumped right on through in a multispec fitted scorp and faced 2 or 3 ravens and some tacklers (ask animeboy for details, seems he frapses every kill to gloat about them ) needless to say, little inexperienced me tried to go for the tacklers and got p0wned. I also tried a lollerphoon (typhoon with quad lif and 6 nanofibers) which lasted for the trip from curse to gw and when I was pwning a raven with like 10 bane volleys after my ass a vigil undocked and webbed me. You can imagine the rest... the ship was also uninsured as always -------------------------------------- We are The Collective. Resistance is futile.

U know if I need to get somewhere fast when i dont have instas or i need to make instas i use the following setup: a fast t1 friggie like atron, slasher or that amar thingy, fill lows with nanofiber and slap on an mwd. then when in space i drag the mwd icon over to high slot so that i can activate it using F1 button.. With a combat setup though i dont do that, so F1 activates weapons... Sooo one day i was travelling in one of these and eventually came to some station in rens to pick up a few implants and drop them off at another station in rens. Was late at night and i was real tired and i was gonna log right after this. While on that first station i saw a combat fitted rifter so i thought ill take it over to the other station.. So i jump into the rifter, undock and warp to that station, hit approach and hit F1.. not much happens.. so im like "yo, why am i not approachin, must have forgotten to hit 'approach' button". So i left click the station to get that cool round menu thingy....;;;;;;;;^^^^^^^^d Anyways, after i docked at the station in my pod i figured that some implants have survived and i better go pick them up before someone else does.. so i jump into one of those t1 frig mwd thingies and undock,,,,,d,,f,v,v yeh and another stupid loss, not me though but corpmate... soo one day we were out hunting some amar scum, and an enemy cruiser warps in.. look at his icon, ok, omen, we take him....then my mates hp is halved and a few seconds after she pops.. i warp out. she look in lossmail... arg, zealot!!

The sentry guns showed no mercy for my poor little Claw. O yeah And I've lost an APOC up in Tenal Region, No really I HAVE LOST IT ! I deleted loads of BMs while drunk, so the Damn thing is probably still sat at the Safe spot not Far From BKG.

Done it before no prob.... I didn't see the other player sneaking up behind me. I'd forgotten that I chose a complex in .6 & not .5 Long story short....homie gets close enough to me to get zapped by the Smartbomb & Concord shows up to finish the dirty work. I'd never seen Concord's handiwork up close & really didn't want to see the recieving end of it! I had no clue what was happening! Didn't know who these ppl were of why they were shooting at me! I get to a gate and there's a -10 standing guy to us, so I decide to SS. However, once arriving at my SS my autopilot decides it doesn't want to stay there, and warps me right back to the gate. 41 ships lost so far!

M3ta7h3ad	Posted - 2005.08.22 00:51:00 - [107] Quite recently AFK mining in a badger mk II in Arnatele (near bereye), after being told by a corpmate that there were going to be pirate spawns at all the asteroid belts. I tell him not to worry and shove both my Civilian Shield Boosters on, my cap seemed to cope with them on, and they had served me alright in the past. I go and lay down on my bed to catch a quick nap. 45mins pass, and I wake up again in time to go get some food. Shields are still tiptop and no sign of pirates so I head down to the kitchen. 10 mins later I comeback to see a pod floating in space. Time of death was about 4 mins before I walked into the room. Gutted! Took me 3 more hours of jumping around places, and flying back to pick up the damn ore and cargo containers that had survived. Tanking 4 frigs in a badger II and trying to retrieve your container from a damn cramped asteroid belt is nigh on impossible. 1 more Badger II was lost before I gave up and got a kestral fitted 4 rocket launchers and pwned the frigs. Bought another badger II.. bought more cargo expanders, and went back to get my cargo. The damn frigs had respawned!!! I get away with about 2% of structure left. Hauled the cargo out in a kessie fitted with cargo expanders and a big assed AB in several trips before finally getting my badger out again, and picking up the larger stuff. An entire night wasted because of NPC frigs! :(

Seems I went close to a low-sec player with cruise missiles. Didn't see him coming. At least the nerf means it'd take more missiles to do that in future. Yazoul Samaiel	Posted - 2005.08.22 11:44:00 - [112] Well the most funny one to me was on Angel Extraveganza bonus mission , me and my pal were in ravens , we agreed that he will tank the turrets and i will aggro the main group and take em out , at 70 km he was screaming from the insane dmg so i opened fire on them and i didnt notice that it wasnt only 6 jamming frigs but like 16 i told him to warp out and he was doing so i waited till he got out (BIG MISTAKE) by that tiem i already killed 10 frigs then there was like 6 more jamming me and all the 5 bs and cruiser were all over me , i was like star war movies Red leadr squadron "OMG they are every where" missiles and shells flying al over me i was poffed in like 1 minute later i was laughing non stop that i hardly made that BM to get my stuff back "What ever that doesnt Kill me just makes me stronger"

Being able to keep scrambler running for a long time was my main concern, i undocked and scramble the station like i saw soooo many people doing it on conquarable stations for fun ... that station was an NPC station, with 2 sentries ... But the worst was to come. Being in pod near the station, i saw that many T2 items survived, so i docked fast, took the first ships (another Taranis) and undocked to loot remaining items. Sentries killed me a 2nd time.
