Pirates who can afford them will love them. Not to mention lvl 4 missions and 0.0 ahem ... activities. However I think these look like veeeeeery basic concepts (no special abilities etc) so I suppose they are just testing the concept rather than the particular ships.

On the subject of the assault-like resists...well. I suppose it's a good way to start running level 4's without breaking a threat...unbalancing? probably, but this has never stopped them from releasing anything before.

Im all for HAC like resists as CCp stated they wish to improve tanking, so logn as we dont get any 'combat' bonuses i think they are not too bad /me runs off to check raven

If you look carefully at the skill requirements on them. Interdictors... this sounds SOOOO much like a long-range web/scrambler ship. Webbing at 50km and scrambling at 40km with a -2 power anyone? Sounds to me like WCS II's really will have a purpose soon enough ... However, if the destroyers keep resists like they have... For instance, I saw a Catalyst based Interdictor with 4 launchers and 4 turrets and Enyo like resists, similar armor and shield loadouts, just scaled up for ship size. Regardless... will the new dessy remove the need for my Enyo? =============================================== The Nest

T1 BS are being gradually turned into jack of all trades and master of none. HAC, Interceptors, Assault Frigs, are all better than their T1 equivalents why not BS?
