According to a trusted source, its waiting on DNS update, and then it should be all good. I forgot to ask for an ETA, but I was told that theres nothing else wrong. They just moved to a new ISP. It was announced awhile ago, but Im sure many forgot it by now, cause I did, and i visit there 10X daily.

If they're only waiting for a DNS update then that must mean that they're all up and ready right? They're just waiting for their new IP adress to be propagated around the world. That also means that if we know the IP address then we can manually alter out HOSTS file to be able to view the site.
Anyone?

Except propagating usually takes max 48 hours, normally just an hour or so depending on TTL settings. So it's more than just DNS issues I'd say.

The DNS server was changed and they're waiting for it to propogate, as far as I know. That's why some people can see it and some not.
I don't know how long that normally takes, though. Was the DNS server hosted in New Orleans, by any chance? I know a major host was there.

Its one of the most handy sites around which you don't realise how handy it is till it doesn't work. :P

Eve-I is undergoing a server move, I spoke at length with kreischweide today and he said it was just bad timing, the old dedicated server was shut down before the new server was ready. He doesnt have an eta yet and when it will be back.

So... We've got all of these people talking to the creator of the website, but no one can get us the new IP?
Someone at least give us that so we can get on it while we're waiting for a propagation.

Just did a whois lookup on eve-i.com and it says its DNS server is ns35.1und1.de.
So, I did an nslookup for eve-i.com with the DNS server set to the above, and it doesn't find it. I didn't find an IP... Bummer.
They either haven't updated or updated incorrectly their domain registration information... or their DNS isn't setup correctly... something is broke... but we knew that already. Oh well.

Its a bit more up to date than eve-i.com's database.
