Well what has been buggering me mostly is....The total lack of news. Nowhere on the official side can i find anything on the extended extended downtime and why. Or am i looking with my yes closed=

ive always thoaught that, the servers aint GMT, unless the UK is suddenly become GMT +1 without my knowladge?

I don't want to be rude or anything, I respect your opinions. I would like to play EVE now too, but, if this extended downtime is for maintenance, and if they are squashing the database, defragging disks, changing hardware, *insert whatever here*, then it's a good thing.
I remember the last maintenance, the market came up faster, lots of things were a bit faster too. I don't mind waiting a bit more. Let's have some patience... maybe they will fix some problems now ingame. btw, I don't think they simply unplugged the servers and are drinking beer.

They must have a serious freaking problem on their hands. Like the Uberbug from hell. Yeah that's it, this freaking Uberbug just leaped out from from nowhere and is chasing half the dev team 'round the office. That's my guess 'an I'm sticking with it.

Maybe they are trying to open all those secure containers you guys jettisoned in Elonaya near the gate. LOL

The UK is on Summer time (BST), which is GMT + 1. Happens every year

Man and I thought I served the whine well! 
The servers usually go down 5 minutes early but I've had little trouble logging on 15-30 minutes early some days. Them being late today I can live with if they ever sort the market out and go back to the shortened downtime.
Why not take this time to cook something up for the idea lab

Under Support they put this message:
"Extended extended downtime 30th July 11:00-14+ GMT. Server Maintainance."
Notice that they changed the time from 11:00-13:00 to 14+. Covering themselves.

ergh my bad :/ its just GMT always says london, lisbon ect, and Greenwich is in the UK.
I spend so much time playing eve, i fogot the clocks went forward an hour :D

Extended Downtime.
We need to schedule an extented 3+ hour downtime tomorrow, 30th of July. This is needed to run periodic maintenance on the cluster.

I'd love to see a live webcam at CCP... that way when everyone starts scurrying around all freaked out, you'd know ahead of time that it's going to be an extended downtime.
