I've updated the skills file to include all the skills that are in the database, even the ones that aren't published yet so you'll have to take those values with a pinch of salt. You can see them in the skill explorer. The only ones that aren't in there are the skills that need "Polaris".
It's all generated straight from t20's export now where as before I was manually maintaining it, so hopefully I didn't mess up somewhere. --

Bump for an amazing program I find it much more user friendly than any of the others, especially the excel spreadsheets.
The only feature request I have is to maybe let the user change see what training times would be with a different set of implants E.G. I have a set of +1s and would like to see what difference in training time a set of +3s would give me
All in all an incredible program :)

Nice tool.
Would it be possible to get the source code of this? Probably not, I guess. But I would really like to see how much effort it would be to port it to a J2ME compliant application (in order to run it on my mobile phone). Maybe you can contact me ingame Jaabaa?

Thanks,

I only started looking at J2ME today, but I've been wanting to do this for ages.
Here's the first bit of the development: http://www.eve-files.com/media/corp/DAW/MobileSkills.zip
It is currently only a skill information system where you can see the skill groups and various details about the skills.
I'll be adding character management in the near future allowing you to add characters and define their skills and attributes.
Let me know what you think --

Not bad for the first bit.
But I'd recommend to use a IMPLICIT list, instead of the EXCLUSIVE one. And then set your "show" command as default command for the list (using 'setSelectCommand' method).
Also, it should be possible to re-use some parts of your skill planner. The JSR172 provides an XML parser and with JSR75 FileConnection you can access files from the phone file system.
(At least these things work on the mobiles phones from this small finnish manufacturer...)

JB, Just found out about this Tool of yours.
My first DL was this am. Wonderful tool. I will have some feedback soon.
I have the same request someone else made a while back: Have the program remember where you last loaded the .XML file(s). I have multiple Chars and would really appreciate this feature. Like MRUD - last 1-9 files you loaded.
Thanks again!
Thanks again for a great Program

It is easy thing to add a bit of code to remember the last directory. I'll look into it. --

I have checked the newest build of your MobileSkills application, but somehow I am not sure if it works correct on my emulator (WTK2.2). But a nice animation in the startup. One small comment so far: If you want to use a Canvas instead of Lists or Forms, I would propose to set it to full screen (Canvas.setFullScreenMode(true)). Otherwise you loose a lot of space on the display.
By the way, I guess there is still no chance to get hold of the source code of the original Jaabaa's Mini Skill Planner?

Looking at covert ops and assualt ships, they do not list frig 5 as being a requirement. Not sure if that is missing from anything else cause I'm not sure what else it is a requirement for.
Great program though, I've been using it since I started Eve. Helps keep me on track :)

That's because those skills don't required frigate 5 to train.
The frigate skill is a racially typed skill and is required for the various ship types in these categories. --
