ya, the colors on the Pali look good. navy apoc still looks like a very washed out gold, almost like a wheat color, with a dark trim

To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors. If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |

Ummm, no, I really don't think that's what they said at all. This is exactly what they said. They said they were thinking of changing it, which is not the same thing as saying they didn't like it... but that they would make sure that CCP Phor would do an amazing job with it in the end.
Which they did.
I don't doubt a bit they conceptionalized a number of variations including some pretty radical departures from the original design. Then common sense to over in the final selection and they realized they didn't want to stray too far from the original design, it's too strongly associated as an Iconic iimage of EvE to get too radical. They just wanted to tighten it up a bit and make it look more like a sensible design for the role it's going to fill, and modernize it a bit. EDIT: Someone at CCP please, please tell me that the Paladin's red is going to become standard on all Carthum ships. Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

EDIT 2: Oops, this isn't actually the new Paladin model, it's the Apoc model with the Paladin's skin - but it does give you a good idea of what i'll look like, and the new skin is pretty damn awesome. let's see, if this will be the paladin paint scheme, because at the moment the Paladin is wearing a Sarum Paintshop

thx :) i imagine the paladin to be a "fully" plated apoc. blood red with golden marqueterie, while bright, sunlike light breaks out where two armor plates get together :D it could like pulsate and wave from the front to the back. |

Currently the different Amarr faction skins that exist in the client are:
- Ammatar
- Ardishapur
- Bloodraider
- Chamberlain
- Civilian
- EOM
- Imperial
- Kador
- Khanid
- Kor-Azor
- Navy
- Sarum
- Tash-Murkon
So, yeah. There is no distinct Carthum skin - only the different logo. Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
