Overview and Station Services are resizing!
CCP, I warned you about this. Twice on the forums, and once in a bug report. I warned you about this and you told me you knew of the problem - how did it end up in a Tranquility release? I pretty much specifically said "this will be a deal-breaker for some players".
Why is this not fixed?

I also ran into this. I have filed a bug report with my settings file both pre-patch and after the problem was fixed by clearing all settings -- which works but is rather drastic, alas.
It is marked to your attention so you should get it within a week or two.
CCP Konflict also asked for this in another thread, btw.
Also, in the station I am in, Inherent Implants in Bittanshal, the camera is centered on a point below my ship, and I really think it ought to center on the ship itself -- you can get a view where you can't even see the ship.

Good. Good. Let the butthurt flow through you! -1 cancer and good riddance.
I am, however, having the same issue. Station enviroment loads just fine, ship moves up and down but no spinning allowed

I have noticed that upon docking and undocking all of my pinned windows on the right side (and only along the right side) are being resized and shuffled around. It seems to be simular to what would happen if the window size/res was being changed with each dock/undock. |

I know this is probably no help to you but it may help CCP figure this out but I had this issue and have managed to solve it in a round about fashion. I have two Eve client installs (I've always found this easier). After the patch today one client would not spin ships on any accounts but the other install would spin ships on ALL accounts. What I did was copy all the files from my "documents and settings\username\application data\ccp\eve\client ONE install\settings" folder to my "documents and settings\username\application data\ccp\eve\client TWO install\settings" folder. So it looks like the non-spinny thing is caused by something within the character settings files. So you copied the settings and that fixed the spinning, is that correct understanding? You don't happen to have a copy of the original settings do you?
Yes that is correct, copied the settings files (core_char_xxxxx.dat / core_user_xxx.dat etc) from the spinning client to the non spinning client and got my ships to spin. Funny thing is that at some point I will have copied those across in the past so that both clients are set up the same.
And sorry no, I just did an overwrite when I copied across so I don't have the non working versions anymore |

Same issue,
* Ship type: Ibis * Hardware details: Core2Quad 6600; Radeon HD6770; 6GB RAM, Win7 64bit * Graphics settings.
All high, no AA, no resource chache, 1920x1080
No difference between "load station environments on/off"
I have a 2nd client folder on my PC, it works fine on that one.
Maybe an issue with the patcher? |

We did in fact receive reports of this happening, as stated in the threads you linked above we were never able to get this to happen repeatedly. The reproduction steps we had at the time of release were: 1. Wipe setting and cache 2. Log into CQ 3. ESC menu -> Disable "Load station environment" 4. Undock 5. Dock 6. Station menu now aligned to bottom right
But the above steps only triggered the issue once, after that it never happened again until the above steps were repeated. This led me to judge this as not severe enough to stop us from releasing Incarna 1.1.2 which hopefully seems like a logical conclusion. Fast forward to today, soon after Tranquility opened up it became clear that this was affecting more users than we had expected. It now seems obvious that this should have been considered a more serious issue, we will do our best to investigate the cause and provide a workaround. From our initial results it looks like it should be easy to work around this by modifying user settings so we should not require a patch. In addition to Windows not remembering positions, client doesn't remember zoom you select on ship while docked. It always resets when docked again. Please fix this also to remember zoom selected.
Tnx for getting rid of the door, but please tell your coders to remember about always saving windows positions. They tend to keep messing with these on every patch :) |

After three months not playing nor paying my two accounts is sad to come back and realize every single bug were reported back then are still not fixed. At least every one affecting me: icons, warp tunnel, windows doesn't close when clicking the x, apallingly slow loads, etc. Now also you created more, as my character sheet does not show all the head, picture, clone grade and all that info. I see you braging in facebook about how tough guys are you with feet on table and sun glasses as you ruin this game and turn it into a space version of the sims with your ridiculous vanity project. You look not tough to me but very gay. You may need me three more months of no playing nor paying and sure a bounch of other players doing the same.

In more positive / less bitchy news the return of hangar functionality is really really nice, and it certainly feels like there's a reduced load on the computer, so nice change there. Just annoying bugs as expected.
Can you provide some more data on the autopilot not working please. Do you have any special settings such as systems on your avoidance list or preferences for security settings? Is there a message displayed when you turn autopilot on, does it remain engaged or does it turn off?

The overview/station services resizing issue persists for me even after resetting cache and the whole settings.
Also, even before the patch, my EVE client doesn't produce ANY sounds. Every other application produces sound except for EVE online.
This is driving me nuts since I've tried repairing eve client and deleting all settings/cache files to no avail. |

Could you try resetting the window positions to default in the ESC menu, Reset Settings, and see if that helps with the overview/station services moving around when docking/undocking? Not a guaranteed fix, but this seems to do it for a lot of players.
