And people wonder why I say there are so many elitist jerks in eve. He is a new player triyng to bust out of empire. You all keep saying how that is easy but we see now how easy it really isnt. The alliances dont want newer players. In fact they generally dont want any players, resting on their laurels.
0.0 has been divided up, if you havent gotten your piece move along to the next game please.
The question is, will CCP do anything about it? --------- The words "Exciting" and "Safe" are mutually exclusive; pick one.

you accuse people of being elitist and yet your so-called move to piracy thread was full of degrading comments about sheep
You're a hypocrit, Derisor.

The two topics have nothing to do with each other. This guy is obviously not a sheep. Sheep dotn want to go to 0.0. There are people in the game that arent sheep; granted a majority probably are, but there are newer players that want pvp and action and dont mind danger.

Running missions in Curse is easy, all you need is insta bms in and around the systems you plan on running missions in. A fast ship and some BPOs/BPC of whatever ammo youre using is quite usefull too.
Then pick an agent outside of the Busy systems (Doril, HLW, H-ADOC and eeeh ATUK's home system whose name i cant remember).
However, Curse IS a warzone, theres far more factions then the five running about and theyve got a lot of sponsored corporations who might try and take some shots at you.
Anyhows, the above tactics work for any alliances space. The only thing you have to worry about it getting shot while undocking so dont stay docked for too long whenever youre talking to your agent.
As for other factions, Guristas have nice implants for Caldari pilots ------------------

Actually im wondering why I came back to Eve to be honest. The alliances basically just ignore their official channels it seems and arent interested in lettign anyone in. It just seems like derisor is right. If you arent in one of them and arent willing to wait 6 months to actually play the game, just move on.
All [5] has done so far is to threaten and isnult and smacktalk me for requesting access and the other alliances I have contacted have merely ignored me. If you arent a carebear miner dude and you are a newbie, I guess there is nothing in this game for you.
Im probably going to not renew next month. Why bother. I dont want to skill up for 6 months just to get out of carebear land.

Sorry to hear it man! But you will probably get smacktalked by others on your way out. Im afraid you arent wrong in the slightest. I have been posting on this for ages. If you quit then good luck to you in whatever game you play.

If you haven't gotten your piece, maybe you should join up so you get access to the piece you want?

No need to insult me: it doesn't make you look more mature. Shame on you Derisor.

Haha, good one. Alliances always looks around to recruit new people, not new people wandering around their claimed territory (and being possible spies).

You can thank the game mechanics for this. Look at it from an alliance's point of view. You claim a region of space, you fight for it daily and lose ships and isk daily defending it. You put in the time and effort to run and coordinate an alliance, which can be much more demanding than people think: running diplomacy with other alliances, setting up alliance market systems, keeping standings up to date, reviewing corps for membership, building POS's and outposts, keeping those POS fueled etc.
Now a 100k skill point character wants to use your space, basically getting a free ride off your hard work. On top of that you now have an added security risk, because who knows what this character is going to do in your space. Is he going to spy on your fleets and mining ops for some other alliance? Will he start attacking your industrials? Will he start making bookmarks through your space for friends? Every neutral person you allow in your space is another headache to deal with, trust me. Stain tried a non-aggressive stance to neutrals and we just ended up getting burned by alts and spies.
Not to mention you can't use a valuable standings slot to set standings with this neutral and every other you allow in your space, so now you constantly have people asking whether or not you're in their space legitly or whether you're KOS. This slows down response time, causes a lot of confusion and leads to 'accidents'.
The people blaming NBSI policies on alliances 'egos' have obviously never been in an alliance themselves. _____________________________________

If this is so then the mechanics of the game need to change if CCP cares about keeping new customers. As for the rest of your post, you seem to act like the players in question killed your daughter in real life. This is a game. You dont fight for that space because of moral right with blood sweat and tears, you fight for it because you have fun fighting. You act like the war is tragic that you would rather have peace. Its really very strange; almost like you see the game as a reality.
THe fact that its a game means that people want to have fun and to be honest i think Derisor is right in that it is too easy to "claim" space in the game.
As for alliances recruiting players, every alliance i have talked to has either ignored me or said that i needed like 5 mil SP (like 6 months in game) to even be considered. Why should I pay for a game 6 months before it starts entertaining me?

curse is very easy to get into these days with the new gates. but with 5 consolidating into curse and changing ther tactics i would wait a week before diving into curse. And HLW is ebil..eeeeebil makes the rest of 0.0 look like secure space...everytime i've been ther either on my own or in a fleet i left in a pod or in flames.

Claiming is easy, anyone can claim anything. Actually controlling it is a diffrent story.

I have talked to 15 corps in 3 alliances.
Look, it just seems that Eve isnt the game for me I guess. No room for newer characters that dont want to be carebears. This isnt fun so hell with it. CCP loses another customer. I will simply not renew next month. Thank god I activated only for a month.

My friend talked to one corp in one alliance, and got in right on the spot.

You want to gain access to alliance controlled space? Well at the risk of saying the bloody obvious, but why don't you just join a corp that has access to Alliance space?
