Hey,
Dont know about all of you but im sick of people hiding behind their alts on these forum's.
Why do CCP arrange it so you can only post with one character per account (i know people have more than one account but like me i believe most of them use it as a second main more than an alt).

omg yes. I've been saying this for months. Just pick a posting character per account and stick with it.

Hell no.
I've got about 4 forum active characters. One posts mroe regularly then the others, but all of em actually have their role.
None of them flame or troll.
Let the mods decide what's acceptable. One could imagine them being somewhat more harsh on obvious alts, but I have little doubt they already are.

It has always been my belief* - That player restricted forums should exist "player corporations only forums" or maybe even "player alliance only forum" should post on certain* forum sub-categories. However the reason for it not becoming so, is unclear. Maybe its less fun too see flames?
The common reason i can think of; is newer players interaction with forum posts.
Make sense?

There's times when trial will need to post. And also possibly some alts. But not in this forum..
Since this is an Alliance and Corporation forum, why not only people in a player-corporation to post?
Of course, some smart-guy will make "Forum Posting Alts Inc.".. Can't stop lameness :|
Edit: hmm, looks like adam c is my alt, dbl post :(

I am not sure I think it has advantages and disadvantages.
If, like me, you are part of a large corp or alliance then you are not always free to post as you would like for free of getting yourself into trouble, maybe becayse you are commenting in a negative way on something your own alliance is doing or there may be people with large egos whos bubbles you want to burst but you dont want to have to drag your corp/alliance into the firing line.
Its all very well saying, these aer my views not those of my corp/alliance or whatever but I dont believe that they hold hold much water tbh.
I think that so long as you are posting in a fairly responsible way and are not being offensive then I dont see much of a problem with people posting with alts - I think they allow for more honesty and for more interesting posts.
Anyway, just one alts view.

u know; there has been votes places before, too get things done. Remember the scanner vote* (i think)
Maybe one is in order to create "player corporation/alliance only" forum sub-category.

For example, I would rather read the posts of the alt Minmatar vengance than I would for what passes for a post by many people on the forums - i.e.:
"/signed" or "we pwned u/no you didnt/yes we did" "wtfbbqpwnzored" or "lolooolll11111o" or a string of smilelys.
Its the quality of the posts that bother me, not the people doing the posting.

Alt characters are a seperate entity in game, therefore should be a seperate entity on the foums.
I agree some of the posts in here made by alt characters are annoying, but it would be unfair for the actions of those people to have an impact on others that do not abuse the system.

Ive got 4 characters i ***** the forum with, none of them for trolling or flaming though...ive got my main for that ^_^
Id hate to lose that option and id rather just like to see alts become visible to everyone.

You know what i find amazing, that people dont feel secure enough behind there first fake persona, that they need to make a fake persona for there fake persona cause they feel so threatened.
BTW, this wouldnt solve much, most people got multi accounts.

If alts were banned, there'd be like...3 posts per week.
-1 would be preacher talking about cooking utensils
-1 would be derisor whining about how he can't fly afk in an indy through HED-GP or whatever it is he's on about
-1 would be a moderator saying "this thread has been cleaned"
And yes, I'm an alt.

I disagree, some times u need alt, I am ahving a prob with my corp atm, and asking the question iam asking iwht my main would give a way that i am in a weak rich corp, thats ripe for war decking.
