It is back to an extent, the extent being that some people can use it, some can't. For me, this goes to the extent that on one computer I have access, on the other I don't. Based on some earlier t20 comments I'd guess it's due to the load balancing, but that's not for me to say.

If you have a skill set to train for the next month and you have 3 weeks left, is it really necessary to have an app check your skill progress every hour, let alone every day? I guess the range of allowed accounts to view their Character sheet is quite thin and the team is probably gradually allowing more and more accounts to get to their CS page to see if everything goes well with that. ECM should be MANUALLY UPDATEABLE only and it would really release some stress from servers. Heck, someone should code a LITE version of ECM that only logs on, looks what skills you are currently training and how long till it expires and saves that data. Then when user presses update button it will update what skill is currently on training. Perhaps CCP could come halfway here and make option for QUICK skill check where you prior entering to character cheet you see data like "Currently training: Advanced Weapon Upgrades level 5, estimated remaining 5d 12h 34m 8s" or something UNDER your character display. This way This "Lite-ECM" will only get few lines of data from server and leave rest of info alone. How about that people? I added the second after a few minutes, and it was ok also... Any more than that and it won't work, and if I try updating (it tries to retrieve data from all accounts at once)... "Load balancing" sounds a lot like something that might cause some people, chosen apparently at random, to get constantly kicked out of the game, while others don't... Is the load balancer able to point players at servers that don't actually exist? (sorry for the attempted thread hijack, but when I see two different "some people are affected, others are fine" subjects, I get suspicious there might be a connection)

I can play the game fine, but My Character page doesn't load for me with Internet Explorer... it does load with Firefox though, when opened from the same computer, and at the same time. o.O;
