i will never understand why some females wanna have a place on their own, tbh it seems rather boring to me.
i am happy with the guys i am playing eve and i am not the only female at G ;o)

There are a few girls that play eve that I know of. I gave one of my friemds whos female a 14 day trail. She said she would play if she had a job, lol.

hehe, EVE, where guys are guys and girls are usually guys also.
The idea of 'chatting up' a girl player is getting a whole new dimension when theres a big chance the person on the other side is some big ugly guy with hair on his back.
I actually once got this guy only wanting to join my corp so he could 'chat up' the girls, i hired him so i could have the pleasure of kicking him out hehe.
But to get on topic, i'm pretty sure there are 'all girl' corps out there though.

Grizouh, who said anything about us girls in the channel having anything against being with the guys in the game? Its not like we close everything down and only have the female channel open  And its everyones own personal choise tbh, you find it boring, fine, then ignore threads like this and stay away from the channel. Annesta, thats true. Not every guy do that, the thing is that there are enough guys doing it. But i think we all have found the nice and cuddly "block" button, not to mention a few petitions too

I find it mildly offensive that a "girls only" channel is in use with strict security on it.
Because where I live, doing a "guys only" channel would get you in all kinds of hot watter.
The really sad part is, the reasons for it make perfect sense to me. And it's sad that boys can't control their hormones well enough to chat with mixed sex groups and not offend, hit on, or do any other socially akward actions.
I'm a guy, but I don't hit on girls, or chat them up online. I find it pathetic when guys do so. It's almost a big neon sign that says "LOOSER" on it.
I played in a CS clan a few years back with several women. Great players. And rare to see a woman in the CS world. (you know it's true, if they are there, they hide from the "a/s/l? LOL a girl!!!!1!!" crowd of 13 year olds)
Anyway, I just wanted to say that I thought it was kinda sad that you have to have your own channel, and protect it in order to get some peace.

and answers like urs just affirm my opinion, if u like it or not ;o)
enjoy ur female only chatroom, no prob with that at all and no need to argue about it, but also accept that there may be females which do not prefer this strict separation.

We/I was talking to those wanting to join and that dont find it boring.
I just dont understand why you needed to come into a thread where the author is asking for a channel with girls and tell us how boring you find it  ?

The whole point about the security is that its ment to be male free, and if you are a woman then you have nothing to worry about. Yea so what you don't want to join it boo feckin hoo, but there ARE other ladies that would like to join it and are quite welcome
Its not like we force ladies to join, like Zajo said its their choice.

Men are ebil and should be stopped . Which is why we have this sekrit community where we scheme our world domination plans (which are going very well by the way, thank you) and put ribbons in each other's hair while giggling all day long.
Seriously though, to people who find this sort of thing offensive for some reason, it's not that we, ze women in 'ere, lock ourselves inside this community because we can't be left alone in open channels with mixed genders or whatever, thats just ridiculous. All of us are in numerous other channels and we get along just fine without come-ons and crap.
WGoE is just another place to chat, that it happens to have restricted access in terms of females only is just something we chose, because.. gee.. it might be fun with only female crazies in a channel.. and guess what, it is.

id love to know why it matters so much to all these men....maybe they think we spend our afternoons talking about them in the channel...lol!! tbh ive found when i start having the chats that take place in the female channel in all other ones they get ignored and the men dont care. the channel is so popular and rapidly growing because it is so much fun and im sure everyone in the channel would say the same thing!

Im a R/L female ....... wait *checks* yup kk cleared that one.
ermm anyway ^_^;; yes I enjoy being the only female in my corp and to be honest only a few know im female so im not treated differently. However I tried to pal up with another female awhile back but she didnt seem interested... guess it isnt for everyone. :)
But it's good to know that other females can converse in one room ^_^
P.S Do I need to obtain permission? if so who do I mail? :)
