I¦ve been playing EVE for a few months now and I love the game. It would be nice to see more girls though. I sometimes get the feeling I am the only one there I have been looking for an all girl corp but there doesn¦t seem to be one in EVE. Are there any girls out there interested in starting a girls only corp? And I mean real girls not girl characters

Theres definately a few about, we had 2 in our corp until very recently, and I know of 1 or 2 others.
But enough to make an active girl only corp... you may struggle.

Girls...playing EVE...? I guess it is possible but my G/F hates it 
I aint seen any girl corps out there...but then again I aint been looking!

Just becareful guys if you see them out on a corp op, that many women drivers in one place could be dangerous  .
On a serious note there are quite afew girls who play, this game i think they even have their own channel.

Theres a channel called woman gamers of eve and theres dozens if not hundreds of women in eve, will poke some of them when im next online, but no doubt one of them will see this ^^

I remember a thread sometime back (a few months anyway) about an all female corp that was recruiting. No idea what the corp was called, or if they're still around, though I'm sure they are.
Check the recruitement folder, I think that's where I saw them.

It took 15 minutes after I showed the game to my G/F, until she was hooked. I I can't complain

Say, isn't that discriminatory? Does it violate anything in the EULA?
Not that I'm trying to be an ass (indeed, having a central place to go hit on chicks in-game would be nice), just curious if there's something people starting corporations like this should be aware of.

They are out there (Yes, I'm an EVE man-lady). All of the major corps I've been in have had at least one woman in the ranks.
I will say that for fleet ops, female players are superior target callers . . . I think it has to do with women being able to multitask better.
Also when woman speaks, man listens

My fiancee ore thieves non-stop while she plays. She doesn't like PvP but she does like saving the chatlogs of people that convo her and call her all sorts of angry things

If you want a Girl's Corp made of real girls, I strongly recommend requiring all members to use Team Speak.....

There has been a all girl corporation, it didn't survive for long.
Many of the larger corporations have a few girls between the ranks though, there are more then you think out there. Most prefer to keep a low profile though
I heart all, some more then others though. |

Actually, I've noticed that, myself. When speaking in normal conversational tones, men's voices tend to be more forceful and thus more distinct, to me at least. I sometimes have to strain to hear what a woman is saying.
Of course, years of listening to loud music probably doesn't help, but still...

it's the eternal games industry problem, getting a proper split of men and women gamers. hell, just getting an even split of the genders actually taking part in gaming would be a start...
