well i do know them really well i just been writing papers all day and essays too and i took a break from it on the thread so lol

but for the most part it is just a rant and some what of a speech

well like a lot of people in this game i am just a poor miner and trying to scratch a living out of the rocks and yet there are ganking fleets out there trying to kill us and really people like goonswarm that prey on the miners and they have a voice but we as miners are forced to just sit back and take it and say can i have some more please

Well my fellow miner I am afraid to say we will never have a vioce. Eve has been won and not by us. I have lost almost everything this past month in game, maybe I need to L2P but I dont really care. Actually I like to thank these guys. I have found something new for me. Perpetuum it is called, look it up. It has many the same features as eve but some really interesting anti greifing mechanics as well. Flagged pvp in there high sec areas (dont want to be ganked turn it off and you cannot be attacked) but also the open pvp eve offers in the low sec areas. You can mine in piece with out the risk of lossing your shirt. This is a sandbox you can play as you like as long as its pvp.

Anyway this will be my last toon created and I am off to have some FUN elsewhere. Eve is a greifers paradise let them have it. There is nothing left for me. I will be watching to see the subs hit an all time high when EVE: Goonswarm edition drops.

This would mean basically, new player undocks and can immediately be shot everwhere ...

Real question though ... could EVE (or any game for that matter) really survive as a strictly 100% PvP game

well if goon feels that ganking other players is fun what would happen if because players stopped playing the game and losing money on the game then what would happen i mean it is the fact that i feel that the actions of the goons could cost ccp alot in the long run

It's a location based interdiction guys. If you think that tanking your ship/Remoterepping/Watching local/paying attention to your overview is too hard for you, fear not, you can also MINE SOMEWHERE ELSE, somewhere that is free of evil goonswarm members.

If you just keep mining stubbornly in a Gallente region, without tanking your ship, without remote rep ships, without watching local and without checking your overview for strange ships, you just deserve to die, simple as that.

Obvious answer .... Hisec Carebears should simply start cancelling their subs ... until CCP removes insurance payouts for gankships ... oh, wait, that's what they're already doing in droves ....

If CCP were smart they would simply allow people to "unflag themselves for PvP" in hisec, like all the other (growing rather than shrinking) MMO's, so we would stop losing valuable noob subs.

I agree HTFU but here is some tips for you.

If you have the cash put a mining ship in different ice/mining belt systems in different races systems, eg one in galent, caldari, mini, and amarr space.

Then add Mr Mittani's alliance to your contact list, you can do it from the forums even, and flag them as bad.

Then blow your local window up big so you can see a large chunk if not all the people in local.

If Mr Mittani enters the system in his big bad Brutix you will see him and hopefully doc up before he ganks you. Then move to a different system you have a mining barge at. Leave the system in your pod or shuttle very hard to lock and NEVER auto pilot.

Also keep your drones out and set them to protect or aggressive. (Get combat drone of any kind, does not matter the skill level just have in space) If they gank you then your drones should have enough time to do atleat do bit of damage to them before Concorde gets them. Then you can show your buddies you killed Mr Mittani with your mining ship because you will get a nice killmail. Alot of gankers are killmail whores and will not like that blemish on there killboard.

Remember one golden rule I say to all the new indy guys in our corp. Make them bored, that is your best weapon. DonGÇÖt talk to them dock up and go afk if they get bored they will leave and 99% of the pvpers have an attention span the size of a walnut. It will not be long till they are bored and an gone back to 0.0. You are a miner you have the power to outlast them hell you sit in front of the rock for hours. Use that patients as your weapon. BORE THEM TO DEATH and you will always win and get many tear in the prossess. Boo Hoo undock already LOL

I hate seeing people leave the game when the most important thing we can do for eve right now is attract and KEEP new players. I hope this little advice helps you. Remember this kind of drama you will not see in any other MMO and that is what makes eve special. It is worth playing but you need to play smart.

Im pretty much aware of who you are. I have to admit that I hold a lot of respect on your ability to look after your busy bees.

Your childish approach to CCPs goals and business model has caused nothing but a depression and slow down of in-game economy that is mainly fueled by PVP and territory claims. The game is shifting and you, as CSM Chair are quite responsible of this. As well as being indirectly responsible of the proliferation of isk farming.

You heard it here in Jita Park, gentlemen: EVE is in trouble because of too much pvp and sov-war, not because of a crippling lack of new spaceship content or neglect of existing in-space features.

Only thing to do now is write a eve fan-fiction on eve is real about how your character lost his parents who were miners to Goon storm troopers (mirroring luke in that sceen star wars finding his astro farm destroyed and relatives killed). Then begins the story of a path to greatness to become powerful enough to stop the Goons and overlord Mittani.

A candidate who actually knows that mining and industry are not relegated to just one region. That all regions are garbage and need to be buffed.
