EXEFILE did NOT WORK FOR ME.
It does start the client, but shows server offline. |

Thank you. Whatever else may or may not be happening with the game, I love the improvements in how you are communicating information to the playerbase. Could this possibly be the exception to the rule that meetings are ridiculously useless? ;) The original post in this thread was both helpful and timely, and made it easy to access the information I needed without wading through multiple forums, threads, 3rd-party services, and whatever else. I (and I suspect a large percentage of your customers) understand that sometimes things go haywire--that is a totally separate issue than not having my time respected.

... Just woke up I was about to tear my hair off my head and call me ISP and shout at them  I was using google DNS (8.8.8.8) and I was unable to reach either the forums or even update my chars with EVEMon, I switched to openDNS (208.67.222.222), and the forums started to work finally...

Anyone who cannot get in, my alliance and I have been able to get online by going to the program files->ccp->eve->bin and running "exefile.exe". This will run the client with the old start screen and you will be able to log in  Fly smart! 07 |
