Oh I'll be the first to admit the idea's been around for a while. I figured it was timely though, given recent events.
I've seen people with T2 tissues in their sig, and while I could have just cut and pasted a kleenex box on a tech2 icon from the game I figured I'd spice it up a bit.
Anyway, not looking to justify it to you or anyone else, and it's certainly not directed at a specific person. Just thought I'd try my hand at spicing up an old concept.
Guess you can't please everyone, but then again that's never been my intent.

I didn't take it as an insult, I took it as criticism (constructive, even). There's a considerable difference between the two.

Anyway, back on topic I think it's great that CCP have owned up to showing bad judgement. That's the rarest form of communication from devs in MMOs.
The one thing that concerns me is that a bad precedent has been set that people can protest to the tune of causing actual server downtime in order to force decisions to be reconsidered. That from now on whenever someone thinks they're getting a raw deal they can just "pull a 4S" and think they'll get their way.
