I just cleaned my pc with a full reformat because of the Alureon.J Trojan yesterday.
So I know its not me propagating the connectivity Trojan.
I think that the Alureon.J Trojan is playing hide and seek with CCP.
Check your systems people. I have no idea where I got the Trojan from. Could have been through a hacked password reset e-mail.

Ok everyone, lets give them a break. Something as complex as a game like EvE is not to mention that they just went through the DOS attack, I would rather they do what they need to do to make things safe for us as well as them. So lets all give them credit for doing their best to offer us a quality experience. |

This is the third weekend in a row. Why are these servers going down on the days that we actually have time to play. If you are charging people to play this game , then add MORE servers!!! spend some money to solve this problem instead of having us not play on a Saturday !!! |

Using the exefile in the bin folder works, simply longuer to start up and uses the old loggin screen from before the launcher. This mean that it is a major launcher issue, probably a corrupt file in a patch or a hack attack on a part of the server who sends the server status to the launchers uppon openning.

And for the record, it was WAY worse back in the empyrean age time (2008) and server was down WAY more often with less mass scale battles.
SO new players, dont give up, CCP works on this.

There needs to be a refocusing of effort on the part of ccp. Instead of making new features, new ships, nerfing ships, moving ore from here to there, ccp needs to focus on the current server infrastructure. Let the players that having been playing for just a year have a stable environment to grow in as opposed to changing things constantly. A little less time nerfing ships that players have been flying for years and a little more time keeping the game stable. |

I don't really mind, since I am training a 25 day skill and barely log in anymore, it's just that this **** has been happening a lot lately and it's getting annoying.
I guess it's cool if you just give us 50000 SP as compensation.
Also, since you introduced this new launcher we've been having nothing but problems, the launcher constantly says the server is offline or refuses to show the play button and anything else, yet when you launch the game with exefile.exe from the bin folder everything works fine.
Just **** the new launcher and go back to the old method of patching and logging into Eve, I miss those awesome log in screens.
I don't even understand why you even had to get on this launcher bandwagon bullshit in the first place, Eve used to have awesome expansion themed 3D log in screens and that was yet another thing that set it apart from other games.
You just seem to have started doing it because every other MMO does it these days.
Don't fix it if it ain't broken.
