No diffrents tween the Borgs of startrek and the jove's of Eve.Now, What if a Jump Gate or hyper jump gate to the StarTrek server on "Visa" to Eve,was possible,what foundations would be made,?,tween the emipres.Could the a new beginning take place?. And I still want to know why i can not be adopted to another race,Jove being that race.?.Will RmR activate jove agents? And Bloody Merry Xmas to each and every one of you's Long live the Jove Emipre.

They probably just outright annhilate lesser races or ignore them until they're worth it. Also, considering the Joves are one set race derived from humans, and the borg are.. every race they've ever invaded successfully, I'd say there's a huge difference. It is currently only capable of fitting 8772.12 units and it is currently jammed full with 9558.33 units.

When a race has developed a new technology and the Borg come across it, they move in and assimilate the newly developed technology and the people and destroy the civilization in their wake. All Borg are tied into a single consciousness called the Borg Collective which shares their thoughts. At the apex of the Hive mind is the Borg Queen (Star Trek First Contact). They only assimilate if a race is deemed worthy of assimilation either on technological and/or biological level. Hence the words "We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own".

To the Borg they are doing something good for the socities they assimilate by bringing them to a greater state of perfection known as the collective. Thus freeing them from the personal freedom of action that leads to so much evil, wrongdoing and self destruction. I haven't read much about the Jove Empire but I have to say I can't see any similarities between the two whatsoever :) ----------------------------------------------- Current ship: Maller class Cruiser

The Jove are cut off like all other races in EVE from earth, it's just that they were the first to get into space, are VERY curious though secretive, therefore nobody knowing what's really going on in their space. Also, they have their own problems to mind - the problem of the other races don't affect them so much, they are isolated in every sense. Whenever Jovians _do_ interact with the other races it has a great impact on the latter. _If_ I had to compare them to trekky stuff, I'd say they act like Volcanians, are like Q is to humans to the other races and only have the pale and deformed looks of the Borg (with not as many implants ^^)... and I'd still not be anywhere near it. Also, as a Brutor, I can say that we are _not_ anywhere near Klingons to all those who have claimed it's like that. I'm not willing to justify that (you haven't justified your stance either.) /Kael
