For the record I feel I should say I have no dog in this fight I just think you guys are lame.
What's fun about getting 250 capital ships dumped on you? This was never about fun it was about taking assets that will allow us to pay for our fun in the future. Welcome to war. It's weird how people who aren't participating in nullsec have these weird conceptions about the "fun" of fighting sov wars. It's like they've never been there and are clueless or something. I have found that most people who rail against this kind of stuff that actually do have null experience fall into one of two categories. 1: The victims of it. Of course, they aren't going to like it. 2: People who's nullsec experience consists of random roams from either NPC null, or their low/highsec staging system every once in a while. These guys are especially obnoxious, because since they went ten or fifteen jumps into Syndicate a few times, they think they know exactly what sov warfare is all about, and how it should be played.
Hey there's nothing wrong with npc null in Syndicate! It's actually quite fun.

207 systems have been lost and at least 33 stations (most likely 43) are in lockdown with no access until someone takes over the system in Nulli Secunda's renter block. 400 billion in renter fees have been taken and the executor corporation taken over. All other corps in S2N Citizens' alliance have been kicked and due to wardecs cannot do anything for a week. The former director in S2N Holdings who did all this has joined Circle-of-Two (A CFC alliance).
At a stoke one of TESTs biggest allies has been effectively brought to its knees and must pull out of Fountain to fight to regain all of its lost space before angry Russians take it for themselves. |

The targets may not be as big, but there's a lot more of them, and I can always fly a smaller ship. ;) Plus, I'm sure it is fun, since you get the fun of null without all of the bullshit that comes with sov, hence my comment. People who have never dealt with the gutterfuck that is sov warfare have no business commenting on it.
Agreed.
And yea I used to think lowsec was fun and target rich, but now with all the LP farming its a letdown after letdown.
NPC null is quite a bit more fun if you want hassle-less combat and good roams.
Besides... people like Pizza, Goons, TEST, Nulli etc come through all the time! We get BO hotdropped, cyno hotdropped, bombers bar has brought some prophecies to play in our yard once or twice...

Oh yeah, we definitely have a lot of farmers. That's to be expected right now with the massive tier push from the squids. It's okay though, because they are quickly running out of systems to plex, which means that they are all resorting to coming to Qcats home systems. Let's just say, there's a reason that our three systems are the only stable ones that GalMil hold. We have ways of dealing with farmers...extremely painful, instalocking, multiscram ways.
In all fairness though, I am getting better fights out of the pies than the squids right now. |

A lesson to all alliances, if you don't know the players in RL, that is exactly what can happen.
And since this is the playbook (think BoB) you know it'll happen again, too.

I suppose it really depends on what you're looking for, and who will have you. I have found that most highsec corps have turnover rates akin to McDonald's, with MOST nullsec corps running a close second. All of the "common culture" seems to exist among a select few null alliances and the pirate corps. Hell, just look at the length of time that most active Tuskers/Heretics/PL members have been with their respective corporations. |
