This is unlikely because Oveur states in the log that there are 23 new T2 ships (works with current info).
He also said not everything in RMR is on test atm.
This means its most likely another Tech 1 ship.

Go to the SiSi section and click on ships, then elite cruisers and there are some nice things in there to let speculation run wild. ------------------------------- I have an idea.

The RMR features page mentions science vessels which I assume are civilian ships. 1 of those per race would make the numbers add up and didnĘt CCP mention civilian ships in a recent FAQ/Interview? _________________________________________________ Nominate famous people in Eve who had an impact on you. |

The last 4 are Fleet Command ships "Elite Logistics Platforms". They are described immediately below Command Ships on the RmR features page. They will use gang modules instead of command modules, have high resists, and crappy damage.

No, thats fleet command cruisers... already included in Command Ships.
4 Field Command Cruisers (need HAC 4) 4 Fleet Command Cruisers (need Logistics 4)
If you dont believe me check the thread in general for Oveur's reply where he says hes going to reword it so it doesent make it appear (falsely) that there are 12 T2 BCs. ------------- Where are the named 800mm Plates and Mega Ions, CCP?

Tier 3 BS have been moved back to the drawingboard page. CCP did mention about tier 2 BC somewhere so I'm guessing it's them.

Edited by: Harry Voyager on 04/12/2005 16:32:56 I'm pretty certain the 4 remaining ships are, in fact, the Fighter class drones.
Apparently it will be possible for players to actively take control of a carriers Fighters, and hit distant targets with the, thus they will be player flyable ships.
Harry Voyager
Addendum: As I understand it, the warp bubble launcher requires launcher hardpoints, thus if the Amarr Inter didn't have launcher hard points, it couldn't launch jammer bubbles, defeating its purpose as an interdictor. I strongly suspect that that Khanid "abomination" will be one of the most in-demand iterdictors in the game, simply because it can hammer out so many warp bubbles so quickly. ____________________ I'm not an idiot; I just play one on the forums. |

I never said that it should have no launcher points, just that I hoped it would be a gunship since Amarr tend to favor a good amount of turrets on their ships. Something similar to the Minmatar Sabre. Lots of guns but it also has a few launcher hardpoints so it can still function as an Interdictor. I just think it's odd that the Minmatar, who much more frequently use missiles mixed with guns than the Amarr or Gallente, have the only Interdictor set up like a gunship. I just wish we could have the option of a different Interdictor, without switching to another races ships, as well.

Edited by: Ithildin on 04/12/2005 20:35:00 Harry, the drones can be assigned to celestial objects or to other players. The first case, they are remotely deployed (the carrier can attack stuff with their 20 million ISK a piece drones from a safespot), while the other case is essentially giving the drones away to a player. The fighters CAN warp, so the funiest kill will be an Ibis fighting with 20 fighters (effectively an ibis doing the damage of a dreadnought). They won't be controllable as in direct control, afaik, though. EDIT: I.e. they are still drones
Apparently, when there's new patch notes I sound like I'm 4 years old on christmas EVE on TS. |

Are you sure?
taken from the RMR page:
"Fighters are massive beasts of war with the fighting power of a cruiser and the agility of a fighter. These abilities can only be achieved by removing their warp core and pod systems, requiring the pilot to be in a*****pit where the ship's destruction also results in a quick demise in the cold embrace of space. The Carrier captain controls the Fighters through mindlinks as he would with any drone."
