Thank you. GLS stock isn't available for purchase at the moment, but I appreciate your interest.
A minor update, we're still accepting corporations for League participation, and the first race is being scheduled for January 7th. Participating corporations will be notified prior to the event of any updates related to this.

Well I'm proud to say that despite some minor setbacks the first race of the season ended quite smoothly. There was plenty of action and danger, and some pilots didn't finish unscathed. Here is an outline of the Verge Vendor Track:
Starting position: Alenia V M4 Roden Shipyards
1. Rebilier VIII Asteroid belt 5 2. Aidart Sun 3. Hevrice IX Asteroid belt 1 4. Murethand VI Asteroid belt 3 5. Amoderia X Asteroid belt 2 6. Chantrousse VII - Moon 9 7. Vaere VIII - Moon 3 Modern Finances Invesment bank
Verge Vendor Race Results 1st - Gangsta Boo - Executioner (53mins) 2nd - W0LFMAN - Daredevil (55mins) 3rd - Alex Harumichi - Incursus (82mins) 4th - Owi - Rifter (91mins) Disqualified - Undia AlNudius (n/a)
Race Casualties: Undia alNudius (Vigil) Owi (Rifter & Capsule) Alex Harumichi (Incursus)
Summary There was plenty of carnage early on in the race when Owi eliminated Undia's Vigil at the first waypoint, only to lose his own rifter to the combined might of the Federation Navy and Gate Sentries attempting to flee the scene of the incident. Many pilots opted to take the shortcut through Syndicate space to reach waypoint, where Owi's pod met an unfortunate demise at the hands of Euphoria Released interceptors. Mr. Harumichi suffered an unexpected departure from his vessel as a Black Storm Clan Taranis made short work of him at Waypoint 4. Nevertheless, both Owi(despite being killed and clonejumping) and Alex opted to continue racing while Undia vowed to return to the next race better prepared.
Special thanks to all the pilots who participated, and especially for those who lost ships and continued despite the odds.
Here is are this week's standings for the GLS Racing League:
1st - F.R.E.E. Explorer (20pts) 2nd - Caldari Independent Navy Reserve (15pts) 3rd - Gradient (10pts) 4th - Alcatraz Inc. (5pts) 5th - Synergy. (0pts)
Stay tuned for announcements in the next week regarding the location of the next league race, where in two weeks time we will meet again. Corporations looking to participate are welcome to sign up at any time as room is still available.

Thanks for the race, Kaleigh, was certainly exciting. First running hellbent through two bad gatecamp sites in Syndicate in little bitty Incursus (with a Crow and Thorax both taking potshots at me along the way), then getting ganked by a dirty rotten pirate Taranis at a belt while I was jotting down next waypoint details. Seems my 75mm gatling gun was no match for a t2 Taranis, who would have thunk. Made it out in my pod, and can take comfort in the fact that all of my more expensive modules blew up and didn't end up in pirate hands.
Good fun.

Edited by: Kaleigh Doyle on 22/01/2006 03:50:09 The second race of the season came into full swing with competitors scrambling through the Placid region, and as always where the danger was lurked, action was to be had. Here is an outline of the Placid Track:
Starting position: Stacmon V, Impro Factory
1. Pain I - Asteroid Belt 1 2. Harroule X - Asteroid Belt 1 3. Orvolle III (Planet) 4. Renarelle V, Moon 2 5. Vey IX asteroid belt 1 6. Pelille VI - Asteroid belt 6 7. Vilinnon I - Material Acquisition Mining Outpost
Placid Race Results 1st - Elsebeth Rhiannon - Rifter (60mins) 2nd - Horatio Cain - Vigil (72mins) 3rd - Owi - Rifter (90mins) 4th - Troye - Executioner (90mins)
Race Casualties: Owi (Rifter)
Summary Owi of Alcatraz Inc is developing quite the reputation amongst the racers in the League. In his second appearance he fired upon Horatio Cain's Vigil at the first waypoint, yet unlike the first race was unable to score a confirmed kill. Lacking patience, Owi attempted to make a break for it through the gate sentries with no luck and was forcefully ejected from his craft. This gave Troye an opportunity to catch up, as the race had began without him, yet against the odds made an extremely competitive bid for third place alongside Owi.
A shortcut route through Syndicate between waypoints two and three were open to the racers. Despite a concentrated presence of pirate corporations such as S*****rdly in the Placid region the Serpentis proved to be the most troublesome, harassing the pilots as they traversed the belt waypoints. Due to the earlier scuffle against Mr. Cain, Elsebeth was able to gain an advantage and seal first place on behalf of her corporation. Troye and Owi both finished within seconds of one another, literally nose to nose at the finish line.
Again, a very special thanks to all the pilots who participated!
Here is are this week's standings for the GLS Racing League:
1st - Gradient (30pts) 2nd - F.R.E.E. Explorer (20pts) 3rd - Alcatraz Inc. (15pts) 3rd - Caldari Independent Navy Reserve (15pts) 3rd - Convergent (15pts) 4th - The Artemis Protectorate (5pts) 5th - Synergy. (0pts)
Stay tuned for announcements in the next week regarding the location of the next league race, where in two weeks time we will meet again. Corporations looking to participate are welcome to sign up at any time as room is still available.

This evening saw the racers compete in the Everyshore region. Here is an outline of the Track:
Starting position: Colcer IX - Moon 9 - Combined Harvest Plantation
1. Arnatele V- Asteroid Belt 2 2. Odixie - Planet 1 3. Avele - Sun 4. Groothese XI - Asteroid Belt 4 5. Alachene VI - Asteroid Belt 2 6. Mya II - Asteroid Belt 1 7. Aclan X - Moon 25 8. Quier Iv - Moon 27 - Sisters of EVE Treasury
Everyshore Race Results 1st - Owi - Firetail (53mins) 2nd - The Gent - Vigil (57mins) 3rd - Elsebeth Rhiannon - Rifter (66mins) 4th - Troye - Executioner (78mins)
Race Casualties: n/a
Summary Everyshore region proved to be much tamer than the previous league races, with a majority of the waypoints travelling through high security space. A change of strategy by Owi, that is to say his choice to rig for racing proved to be a deciding factor as his Republic Firetail burst at speeds exceeding 4 km/s. Elsebeth's Rifter maintained a strong second place lead until a gate malfunction soiled her advantage and allowed the Gent to steal it from under her, despite being deep into hull damage after serpentis decided to use his vessel for target practice. Troye finished off the race in his executioner unscathed.
Congrats to all the pilots who finished!
Here is are this week's standings for the GLS Racing League:
1st - Gradient (40pts) 2nd - Alcatraz Inc. (35pts) 3rd - Convergent (30pts) 4th - F.R.E.E. Explorer (20pts) 5th - Caldari Independent Navy Reserve (15pts) 6th - The Artemis Protectorate (10pts) 7th - Synergy. (0pts)
Stay tuned for announcements in the next week regarding the location of the next league race, where in two weeks time we will meet again.
Corporations interested in signing up should contact me (Kaleigh Doyle) for more information. We have unlimited positions open and there's always room for more who wish to take part. It's never too late to participate!

I look forward to seeing you (in my rear view I hope!) in a few weeks time.
Remember it's your corp that is in the league so different corp mates could fly every few weeks, I know I have other corp mates schemeing to race next time instead of me
