1 ship lost by accidentally attacking a fleet issue stabber in a covops frigate.  At least it downed something before it's captain suffered a terminal case of absent-mindedness.

Considering how tough it was getting to Steve I dread to think that there was something even more difficult that was omitted. Lost 2 ships along the way. One at a gate camp a few jumps in and one at Steve to campers. Almost wasn't able to snap a pic of it.

I AM in the pic of Steve. I'm in a pod and was lucky to get the snapshot as a second later I was popped. I'm hard to see cos I blend into the titan in the background but it should still count cos I was there...and technically you can see my ship...or what's left of its wreck next to me XD

Thanks for the contest, was interesting and relatively easy.
Most hard part: Pod on fire. Damn thing can't burn properly, it's more like "pod on smoke" than "pod on fire". Old capsules burned better
C9N-CC camp was easy. Key to success is patience.

My first real trip into nullsec, it was a fun challenge and I learned a lot. I only lost one ship in the process and I was finished taking screenshots at the time, so that saved me about 40 jumps; it was a good death. Sadly the channel window wasn't completely showing at the time or I woulda used that death for my pod on fire.
I really enjoyed this event, thank you for making it something that everyone can do. |

Since there isn't alot of pod kills in RvB fights and I'm not in the habbit of harvesting cadavers, the ten corpses proved to be, while not the hardest, the most creepy and weird. In a way it was also the most amusing. Requesting to borrow corpses from corp mate resulted in a few rather intresting conversations as well as the to-be-expected necrophilia jokes.
Didn't lose any ships on my trip through Providance, Curse and Stain into Estoria to see Steve. And I also found the Wolf-Raynet system pretty quickly. So all went well, assuming that the data about the wormhole system ( http://www.ellatha.com/eve/WormholeSystemview.asp?key=231306 ) is accurate.
Notification: Because I'm lazy, I have a tendency to post without proof reading. This may result in various errors including but not limited to typos, weird typos, grammatical errors, bizarre sentence structure, words written repeatedly, mislocated paragraphs, pointlessly complicated explanations, general incoherency, and abrupt endings. |

Yet again, explosions in front of all the landmarks. Konrakas was a bit difficult, we were chased by interceptors all the way from HED but managed to get to target. Once there we took down a Blackbird with our 4 T1 frigs before all dying gloriously. KB green :)

Funny story on my way to take a picture of Steve
So there I am, dodging gate camps left and right. Slow-boating cloaked between 20 bubbles and who knows how many dudes.
I jump into X-7BIX, one jump away from Steve, and there's 700 guys in system.
Looking around I notice a timer, a station was coming out of reinforce mode in 10 minutes.
I decide to lay low for a while, get a grip on the situation before jumping to the next gate.
The station is covered in warp disruption bubbles, and there's hundreds of ships defending it.
Soon after, Mad_Ani jumps into the system!
I usually have his stream playing in the background and had no Idea he was heading the same way as me.
He's there to cover the fight that's about to ensue, and sure enough, local starts spiking. TiDi kicks in and something tells me now is the perfect time to make my move.
Directional scan shows the gate is clear, I warp and jump, next system is empty, the picture is in my grasp!
After all that commotion I think the worst is over, and jump to Steve at 0. HUGE MISTAKE!
Someone bubbled the wreck, my ship gets decloaked and NPC pirates take notice.
I barely have time to take the picture before warping to safety.
Picture in hand I start heading home, null sec, on the opposite side of the galaxy.
I needed a few skillbooks so decide to stop by High sec. After all that's happened I've become bold and careless.
The last thing I hear as I undock from station is alarms, as my ship is targetted and gunned down by wardeccers... |

A great event I loved it. lost two Cov Ops Probes in total. Thank you to some corp mates who helped me. Some great stores on my travels. My favourite was was going through Wormhole space to find the Wolf-Rayet Star, explored 7 WH's till I found it, one of which had a null sec exit....just 6 jumps away from Steve! Couldn't believe my luck, sneaked to Steve via the back door, pics of Steve (Prime Arkonor for tier 2) and Vapor Sea all taken, only met a single Gate Camp on my way out, went into structure but still made it out......Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to get Steve so quickly and with no loss.

The same w-space connection from my c3-null static that got me the Prime Arkonar got me 13 jumps to Steve the very next day. Thanks Bob!
After getting back to hs through a C6-C1-HS chain (thanks Bob!) it was an easy bunch of jumps through null to finalize the rest of the pictures.
Special shout out to HateMeMore for not podding me after bubbling me in his sabre. I offered the spiced wine and cigarettes in my cargo and perhaps he was laughing too hard that he forgot to shoot. We almost had a party in there. |

Set 3 of snapshots.
When i first saw the Wolf-Rayet, i had lost my breath for a while. It is so amazingly looking, especially in conjuction with a regular star of the wormhole system. I guess it's first time i ever saw one in person.
Hardest i found to be the path to Steve. 3 days i was on that path, including my way back to highsec. Even though it was hard with bubbled gatecamps on the way to Steve, on the way back to hghsec, surprisingly, there were none of them.
Overal, i'm very satisfied with the end results of participation in this contest. |

im kind of a High sec carebear and this tought me how to navigate threw low, null and wormhole space, and when u lose ur ships just get ur clone update buy a new ship and try again. (lost: 3ships and 3 pods).
the hardest deffinetly was the wolf rayet star.

I'm astonished I actually finished this! Steve was tedious, but doable, especially in my native AUTZ. I thought the corpses would be the hardest, but enough people left theirs behind at the many gate camps on the way back that I filled my quota nicely ^_^.
In the end the trickiest bit was the pod on fire. I had to create a trial account on another computer then gently shoot my real pod till it was smoking.
I only lost one ship, and that was due to me hitting the wrong key in a gate camp and getting dead-ed. I gave up for a while there, but decided to have another go, and I'm glad I did.
All W3 done in my T1 Atron or T1 Imicus ('cause I don't have the skilzzzz yet for a covert ops ship).
Thanks for a great event. It got me out of high sec and way, way down into nullsec (something I wouldn't have attempted otherwise).
