There was a thread about this some time ago, don't remember for sure but I think most people said Infested Outpost.

 That one is easy. Silence the Informant or Angel Extravaganza are harder tbh.

The question is what si the hardest mission the answer is i dont know :D
BUT the hardest missions are those made for pirate factions, pirate faction missions are much harder and also much more rewarding

There is no hardest mission.
Different ship / setups / people will find some easy and others hard. I personally find infiltrated outposts very easy. I know a lot of people strugglw iwth it etc.
And please wait more than 10 minutes before jumping up and down for an answer

Some of the hardest missions are:
Infiltrated Outposts stage 2( easy if you know how do do it)
Silence the informant. (stage 1 is hardest with 4 elite drones)
Angel extravaganza.
Rouge drone harrasment stage 2 (these drones do alot of damage)
Duo of death.
Shipyard theft ( serpentis storyline mission)
But when you have figured out how to do them, witch tank to fit etc. no missions are that hard.

I would say hardest missions/levels for me are:
- second level of Shipyard theft (Serp version for me)
- first level of silence the informant
Just a personal impression though.

The hardest lvl3 missions in that order:
(for battlecruiser)
- Black market stage 2
- Spy-stash stage 2
- Duo of death
- Silence the informant stage 2
Angel and <faction> extravaganza Bonus level is impassable for BC

Hehe funny, never had any problem with Duo of Death in my Ferox, but I usually struggle at Silence the Informant stage 2  (but I can sign place 1 and 2)
