i hope ccp stop lettin new players join soon until we upgrade... cuz i think hittin near 20,000 might hav bust the servers

Well the server didnt really go down cos there was no restart. So might not be the server.

I think a router or something in the network went boom.
I don't think it was the server or just a single proxy node because if it were the server you would see a "Starting up in 483s" message and a single node wouldn't have kicked just about everyone off of the server.

situation update we can get into the character select screen my main cant log in but my first alt character can log in so back to level 1 missions with a minimal trained character i think

TQ lost its network connection for 30-60 seconds around 20:53. We have informed the server team and they are looking into the issue now.

doesnt matter for the players, they are disconnectet whatever reason it is.

From a network operator stand point. It seemed to be full routing loss. The AS routing info was lost few a few seconds. For non-geek, it means that the connection from EVE-servers to rest of the internet was totally lost.
