Is it me or is there Uber Lag right now? Any resolve time on this?

This is brutal... 2-4 second screen updates/changes..

I also have major lag. I've talked with some friends and they have the same problem. I hope it will get fixed soon

Same problem on 2 different computers with 2 account in zones with less than 70 people...

Now i can't log my char at all it seems :( Everything goes well until the "Entering game as Marduk Starcrusher" appears. The progress bar fills, but then nothing happens. I waited even 5 minutes, tried 10 times but no luck until now.

5 mins to dock/undock
5 mins to jump stargates
delayed Market/Trade/hangar

When I logged on last night to check things, I experienced enough lag just in station that I put off trying any of the new missions.
It was like this right after Cold War as well. Last time the results of ignoring it and trying to operate anyway were pretty ugly, so I'll just sit back and wait a bit, while giving the other game I play some attention. I've got plenty of long skills I want anyway:).

i guess this could also be related to that blakc screen post...i betad this game and there were never these problems... I just cam e back to see how it had developed and hmm... if its still like this, maybe I should look else where to dump my hard earned cash :/

it's also just after the patch went in... but yea, I'm having some massive lag issues right now, as well. my corpmates, however, are not. that is, until they tried to come into the same system as me, upon which they got lagged out of existance. seems like a couple nodes are seriously stressed out and causing this, cause it's not effecting all systems, just some..

Massive lag here too, after several reboots. Some people in the chat windows are suffering too, while others are having no problems at all.
It's simply unplayable at the moment, so I may just leave it a day or two.

2 minutes 45 seconds to load my hangar items window
53 seconds to load the ship fitting window
14 seconds to load my character sheet skills window
Due to these #'s I didnt even attempt to undock.
What gives? This Drone nerf was suppossed to decrease the workload on the servers...not paradoxically increase the load!

well, I attempted to undock about five minutes before my post above... and have just now gotten the "Entering space" loading screen.. something's a little off about this for sure.

17 mins to log in in Suroken ... 12 mins to undock... and about 6 or 7 to jump out of suroken. ... and finally i was free... only to realize that the skill book i needed to be training is burried somewhere in surokens massive lagginess... COVER ME IM GOING IN

same here, up to 5 minutes just to log in, and more than a minute to load up whatever I click on in game. I have never seen lag this bad
the sooner this is sorted the happier we will all be

I think we all knew that some lag will come somehow....but not THAT bad 
Server will go down in 15mins - hopefully theyŚll sort this lag-issues out...

I wouldn't risk hunting even rats, as the delay in lock-on, getting a target and activating guns (not to mention trying to move, activate modules and launch drones) is enough to get you killed :)
That said - it's a GAME, and the guys are doing their best, so why not talk to the missus or take the dog for a walk, heh.

I would actually pay $20-30 more just to be able to download a patch...and start to play right off...free content? we going on what almost 48 hours now???? How much time have you all spent trying to log in/ get out of sobaseki....etc???? Dont know about you all, but I get paid $32/hour at work.....and have wasted approx 3-4 hours trying to have enjoyment....so basically I have lost money---I should of worked more!

Stuck after undocking... cannot log in again, it hangs at entering game as Sfynx. Now I have no excuse anymore to delay my study work... :P

They are working on the problem already. Go cry me a river already. Hell, I'm a newbie at all this and even I do not act as childish as some of you do. Just be patient while they sort this out, the game will be back up soon enough.

Only sort of: It's a game, but it's also a service we are paying for, and ccp profit from - it's really a business.
Imagine if a major bank or something got performance like this every time IBM upgraded their servers....
This patch convinced everyone to give up things like swarms of drones in the name of reducing lag, but the lag is worse than ever, beyond the point of being unplayable (and I'm not even in a busy empire system...).
I'm sure the techies are doing what they can as fast as they can - but we're well into the second day of not being able to play eve, despite the server technically being 'up' now. I reckon a couple days free subs once this lag is sorted out should not be out of the question, I'd expect some sort of godwill gesture from any other service provider that messed up this bad....
Off to do something else for a couple days.....

Now this topic title is not as good so please sticky the other one ... (the one that said FPS drop - coz lets face it - most punters don't know the difference between lag and frame rate loss  )
