/signed most definitely, there are certainly bigger RMR issues being feverishly worked on but this is most annoying.
I use station containers to organize my stuff, I have them marked ORE and MISC and RECYCLE and like that. For all the settings they have for the times when they might be used in a corp hangar or something, you'd think there would be included in them the option to turn the autolocking of items OFF.
Kind of like the difference between giant secure and giant audit log containers. One for shared with accounting and rights features, one without. Perhaps have 2 lines of station containers?

the cumulative effect of 18,000 people continuously unlocking items in these containers must account for a significant load on the servers, not to mention being extremely annoying, tedious and downright slow. and put in an auto-arrange whilst you're at it :) where's the dotted line?

Either put new station containers with no locking ability or put an option to turn off autolocking on the existing ones.
I can't believe this crap has been going on for ... a year now?

Please change this. It took me 15 minutes to unlock and stack all the items I dumped into my station containers this morning.
- Drag items into container
- Right Click inside container
- Select All
- Right Click an item
- Wait a few MINUTES for menu to appear
- Unlock Items
- Wait a few more minutes for items to unlock
- Right Click inside container
- Stack All
- Move to next container and repeat
All that hassle just to stack items. Make new containers or just give the old one an option to turn off the auto-locking feature. Please.

And I'm compelled to ask if you know that no, you can't? You can unlock all the items "in a while", but definitely not "at once": The more stuff you have in can or selected, the slower the right-klick menu appears. And the more stuff you're unlocking at once, the longer it takes, because you can actually watch them unlock one by one. In a big corp hangar (or even a big personal one) this takes ages.
