Shouldn't be too hard, Titans can jump and are supposedly way more massive than POSes. There are no goons. The goons' 0.0 dream is over.

Maybe ill put a solar panel on my ship...and itll be off the grid.
ill change my ships name and erase its existence from all computer databases, ill keep it away from all cameras and law enforcement, and it can live off grid.

I'd consider that a little underwhelming - instead they just should make interdiction nullified cov ops cloaked logistics with a fully bonused expanded probe launcher repping from 20 AU with POS sized shields (soonGäó to be even a mouseclick away) and the ability to be stronted - and make it really hard to probe it without a virtue set whilst you're at it.
Hmm - sounds stupid - but hey - :ccp: - they might add it if it wasn't already in the game whilst being afraid of power-creep in HACs - lol.

But you'd probably want your OG Booster/Logi not appear on KMs in order to show you're a cool kid and 'soloed' all that in your T1 cruiser - that would probably be detrimental to the top KB efficient 'soloers'. You know... morons. |

I think we need off-grid DPS.
As an elite solo PVPer I deserve off-grid DPS. How am I supposed to compete with blobs if I only have the dps of my ship on grid? Things are only impossible until they are not. |

What serious small gangs can engage is seriously limited now by the fact that remote reps are mandatory due to their prevalence. As is stands right now (with logi being required to be on grid), blobs have a significant advantage becuase their expensive and vulnerable logi ships are safe in the swarm of bads surrounding them. As a small gang PvPer trying to engage a larger gang, you cannot afford this luxury, and are thus damned to not being able to use the huge force multiplier that remote rep gives, try as you might to use a fast repping ship that stays 70+ km away. Even there, it is far too vulnerable. So, idea: move remote rep off grid. They already don't show up on killmails, so it's not as if the battle report changes -- it's still the same combatants. This way, small gangs and soloers can have the same force multipliers that blobs full of space-rich people can afford, narrowing the performance gap and thus buffing small gang PvP. Other advantages:
- Not required to be on grid = lower SP requirements. Not only does this buff small gang PvP, it is an improvement to the new player experience by enhancing a newbie role and making it more accessible.
- More usefulness for the combat scanner role, in order to hunt down super-vulnerable RR ships.
- More at-the-keyboard play, as the RR pilots will have to be constantly vigilant to watch for being caught.
- Using RR ships inside a POS is a great buff to people who think ahead and are prepared for fights by having POSes set up. Reward infrastructure and forethought, CCP!
- Ed: Another advantage! Since super vulnerable logi ships don't have to be on grid, all small gangs/solo PvPers can have logi! This bridges the performance gap with blobs, making for better balance and fairer gameplay.
Seriously, the current state of RR is unacceptable. Either find a way to make remote reps benefit all, or remove them from the game. Edit: Hmm... I just realized a problem. RR is targeted and targeting is not a thing when you're off grid. How about this? You can rep everyone in your squad/wing/fleet at the same time, but it's only by a little bit (15% or something). That's of course followed up by bonuses and skills, but it should be balanced, right? Have you been playing sarcastaball lately? |

So in case a station or pos needs reps you can do it inside a forcefield aswell ? Anyway, there is no more solo pvp in eve its dead and has been dead for a very long time.
People dislike being killed no matter what they fly, even if you fly a tech 1 cruiser and you get blown up by a group of 10 it just sucks. So what do players do ? They form a 10 player fleet to fight this other 10 player fleet. This one in turn goes and becomes a 15 player fleet, its a simple evolution in what happens when a game gets more and more players.
Breaking the game with these awfull ideas of nerfing off grid boosts ( its not the links thats the problem its them not being on grid ) and then this idea which is clearly a troll.

That's what fweddit did. By the time they had gotten to 100-man armor cruiser fleets, the enemy couldn't go any further.
Then they came to Fountain There are no goons. The goons' 0.0 dream is over.

Take it a bit further , wy not rep while you offline playing a other game , that would be awesome and good for small gang pvp

So basically, the idea you are proposing is to remove the logistics role in fleets and substitute it with some AoE/Squad Repping system?
This idea just helps the blobs even more as they will simply be able to alpha through any of these 'aoe reps' with impunity and logistics won't be able to respond to critically low fleet members.
Also, the t1 logi cruisers are really not that difficult to train into. It's a short-training time and does provide a great introduction to the logistics role. |

Not only you'll be able to buy and use OGB and carrier (fighter) alts for $$$ to boost your lonely ship - but also couple relatively inexpensive logi pilots. This option will boost EVE's pay-to-win functionality tremendously and surely will make the game much more comfortable for veterans and rich people. |

If you're so outnumbered in a fight that your guys are getting alpha'd without a chance to remote rep, you probably shouldn't have taken that fight.

Wouldn't a 500 vs 500 fight be one where you are not outnumbered but reps still won't hold against the massive alpha? |
