My current pve setup is:
4x heavy pulse laser 2, 1 E50 prototype vampire 1 tracking computer 2, 1 cap recharger 2, 1 fleeting propulsion inhibitor 1 1x med. repairer 2, 2x tracking enhancer 2, 1x dark blood energized adaptive nano, 1x basic damage control, 1 x adaptive nano plating 2, 1 centum a-type energized thermic membrane and I use the new t2 crystals
Armor resist are 76, 89, 78, 79% with a energy use of 1 every 30 seconds. And before any naysayers say anything I solo angel bs spawns and with conflagaration crystals average 270 with best wrecking so far @ 572.9.
For pvp some items are changed and resists are even higher but use more energy. Can we say single digit damage from any weapon? hehe.

for pve mission running I have been using the following.
4 heavy pulse II, 1 small nos 10 mn Ab II, X5 web, cap recharger II 800mm steel II, EM,Kin,Therm hardeners, named damage control, cpr.
I just use T-1 crystals and I get 82.5,82.5,82.5,74 resistances to armor. Works fine for me. I would set it up differently for pvp of course.

Edited by: Arleonenis on 28/12/2005 23:38:36 if cash isnt a problem use: 4 heavy pulse II cap rechs II and 10mn afterburner II in meds 1 centum medium armor rep 1 centum thermal energized 1 or 2 energized centum nano (armor passive hardening skills to lvl5 all 4) 2 heat sinks II rest lows with cpr
you may consider x5 weber for nasty frigates as zealot cant use drones
it is beast for pve

Edited by: Phoebe McCeres on 15/01/2006 16:19:01 I'm using the following setup for lvl 3 missions
Hi: 4x Heavy Pulse II with Scorch M crystals 1x Tractor Beam (i've tried a nos or smartbomb, but enemies never get close enough, so using the tractor beam atm to decrease can collecting time)
Med: 10mn AB II, Tracking Computer I, X5 Webbie (should buy a T2 computer)
Low: Med Rep II, 3x CPR, Thermic Hardener, Extruded Heat Sink, Tracking Enhancer I (should buy a T2 enhancer :) )
I know, this setup could use some improvements, but I kick butt on all lvl3 missions I got thrown at me... :) And all active modules can run indefenitely together. My optimal range is 40km and speed is 650+ m/s.

Well for solo. if your gonna scramble.
Just hope they don't have nos.
I was thinking about a fleet setup with beams, sensor boosters, tracking comps, i cant test one cos i sold my zealots hoping they would go down in price, turns out they didn't. lol

Quite easly infact
My Zealot setup:
High: x4 Heavy Pulse Laser II , Medium Nos II Med: 10MN AB II , Webbi (Named) , 20km Scram (Named) or Med Cap Charger II Low: x4 HeatSink II , Cap Charger , Med Armor Rep II , True Sanshas Passive Therm Hardner or Passive Therm Hardner II
With recent skills I now hit at 11km Optimal using Multi crystals, meaning im usualy out of range for NOS & Webbi.. However this still dosnt mean very much as a large target you will hit anyway..

Even if a BS does have a Heavy Nos on you, the cap rate on the Zealot is very nice and you still have plenty of time to make a decision/

1 relay is enough, or 1 recharger
For pvp i go with 3HS2, 1 relay, 1 adaptive nano II, 1 thermic ahrdner II, 1 med rep 2, web,ab,disrupt and 4 med pulse II
free high slot but slim cpu or grid (cant remember which)

1x Domnation 10Mn AB 1x Domnation Webber 1x Cap recharger II (or scram if u dont have tackler)
1x Centum A type rep 1x Centum A type energized Adaptive nano 1x Centum A type thermic plate 1x 1600mm Rolled Tungsten (almost 13k armor with slave set) 1x Power Diag II (or faction) 2x TS Heat sinks
Other setup as below
4x Heavy pulse II 1x TS Med Nos
1x Domnation 10Mn AB 1x Domi webber 1x Cap recharger II
1x Centum A type rep 1x Centum A type energized adaptive nano 1x Centum A type thermic plate 1x 400mm Rolled tungsten (gives me 2k extra armor with slave set) 3x TS Heat sinks.

I like to have a little more resistance than Hanns' setup. Though sometimes I drop a heatsink for an 800mm plate.

Yeah i use similar setup sometimes Linkage i got slightly better resists, but thats probabyl coz i have al lthe compensations to 5 bar exp, and i get 581 DPS with conflagration ammo, which gives anything cruiser sized an bigger a world of pain.
and 4767 armor base ir prett ynice to
But having a lot more armor is better imo than slightly better resists, for me it is anyway. hence why i usually use a plate instead of another nano.

If I had a Slave set, I'd probably favor the plate route. But I have a Halo set plugged in so I prefer to keep my mobility and avoid fire rather than absorbing it.
Quote: Also why the CPR? i can keep everything going for a long ass time as long as i have my nos on somthing, which is like 90% of the time, and the other 10% of the time the craps dead b4 i need the cap anyhow, i think its better with more damage potential by fitting another heatsink.
Keeping cap alive is not possible for me without a second cap mod. After the armor rep and AB I have less than 1 cap/s left over for guns and web without a CPR. And I'm usually outside 15km (I use beams half the time) anyhow so my NOS is no good. And furthermore, I NPC mostly against Bloods and they NOS you. Which can ruin your day in a hurry if you don't have any headroom

thats the purpose of a corpum a-type nos, 19k range 4tw, i use one on my vagabond, works wonders i suppose the same premise works for a zealot
