From the BoB point of view, why did IRON need to bring in a G battleship fleet to fight their battles? From the IRON point of view, why did BoB take claim to JU, knowing that they would be facing both IRON and G when they finally returned from the south? Alts FTW

BoB have had it too easy for too long and I knew the first time we came up against G we would struggle. However, we got what we wanted and now we have the fun of some decent fights over xmas until we go home again. As for the fight itself, I wasn't there so don't know anything other than the result and the comments of my guys. The biggest dissapointment being the lag they felt upon jumping in. I was seriously hoping for lag free fleet battles but yet again I guess I'll have to be dissapointed. I just think CCP's idea of having everyone on 1 shard is too much to ask for at this moment, the ISP/Servers/whatever seem to be simply unable to cope with the load. But that said, we will continue to soldier on, lag or no lag win or lose.... -

I think it is more due to the fact there are now roughly 2X the numbers of a year ago. All of this is still on the same equipment... However I was reminded of why when people ask, I tell them G is the only alliance that can stand up to us. A lesser force would not have been able to capitalise on the situation as effectivly as theirs did this evening. A few hours later I was fitting my new Tempest with 1400 IIs I looted from a G Tempest can a few weeks earlier. Good enemies are hard to find, thanks G. I don't want the world, I just want your half.

Yep, glad someone will fight now But not fun last night, at all, I locked 1 BS, then proceeded to just watch as nothing happened, then im a pod and clicking warp like a crazed loony - 8 mins later I warped yay -
