It seems like the first account mirror finished without bigger problems, but it looks like transferred characters were not covered by this. Please report here (or per EVE-mail) if you experience any problems.

This would need quite some developer time and I personally would prefer if this would be used in fixing bugs or for new features for TQ.

You obviously know more about how the player files are structured, but I find it hard to believe that copying over a portion of the file is somehow easier than the entire file. You're pulling some data from the file, copying it to SISI overwriting the SISI copy, but doing that with the entire file takes more developer time?

I dont know much about this, but wouldn't it be possible to write a really really long script that would copy TQ, delete all POS's , remove sov, seed modules, etc. Then have that run every few months automatically making the job easier for you guys long term?

As far as I know we are actually re-playing the change-log in this case and are not copying the data 1 to 1 . CCP PrismX would know the details about this.

Copying everything is being done in a full mirror, which we will keep doing every few months. Copying only the skills would probably be quite messy - at least as far as I understand the data structure (but I'm not a DB programmer).

Apologies if I'm being dense here, but does switching to an automated mirroring method mean Sisi will be mirrored more frequently, and if so is this going to make supercapital production on the test server impossible?

Full mirrors might be slightly less frequent, if the automated account mirroring works as expected. But we will still be doing full mirrors every few months.

True, so maybe something like /testcopy to put your character in a queue that gets transferred over at DT. I just don't understand how that takes a Dev more than 15 minutes to set up, but I don't have any knowledge of how they store their files.

How long until our accounts that we can log in to, but have no characters to select from get fixed/added?

As stated before, you can connect and create an toon, but you'll probably have to wait for a full mirror. Remember Acess at all is a privilege, don't expect all the bells and whistles you get from TQ.

I really do get that it is just a test server but we also pay to get on it in a sense because technically you can't get mirrored on or added unless you pay membership. Not only is it that we pay. They want us to test things on the server but they don't give any support whatsoever other than the very little on the forums. To top it all off they activate a lot of peoples accounts but with no characters, most of us don't have the time to rank up another toon that we will never use in real applications. So we are stuck with no way to truly test anything. It's just frustrating. To top it all off I am losing training time as well as testing time. Maybe one day they will get things straight.

You don't pay for it at all, it's more of a bonus to membership. This is a development server of all things too, technically they're not obligated to give us access to anything but TQ and only TQ, but you know what, they have API's, the test server, and the forums up, at their expense for us. Also there is no support because you don't pay for it.

TL:DR You're not entitled to anything but TQ and support for TQ. SiSi is just a free cookie, don't got asking the baker how the hell to eat it.

There was no mirror, instead of spending time wisely and actually doing a mirror they did an automatic mirror test which merely mirrored everyone's account on there but without any toons, you toons will only arrive in there when they do an actual full mirror.

ok so apperantly the auto activation didnt work on the singularity so im asking for a manual reactivation and i also just recently paid with plex to activate this account

my account has been activated but i cant see my characters from tranquility! maybe something went wrong with the mirror?

Only accounts are mirrored by the automatic mirror - you will need to wait for the next full mirror for your characters.

So when will that happen? I'm already waiting for a full mirror for 2-3 months. There used to be a forum thread that said it would be full mirrored Septemberish. Eventho my accounts are activated one is missing all the characters. So any approx. month when the next mirror will happen?

Account on TQ reactivaded this monday.

12h+ after I reactivate account on TQ and nothing happened, obviously your script not working, can you please reactivate my account on sisi ?

i just lost over 70 days worth of skill points about 20mil through the new mirror ?? could i reimbursed for my loss of skill points?
