Honestly, to make it funny, you probably need about 6 empty black frames in between each comic frame that say "Jumping", to help demonstrate the time span. Oh, and, I'm sure WB has had a few fall a little flat. Probably never get him to admit it though.

If there had been a lot more chatter about the jumpgate not working amongst the ships, as well as random banter, and then some yelling coming from jumpgate telling Ernie to wake up or something, I think it would've been a tad more funny. I encourage you to try again tho. (Imagine the Concord ship saying "Dough Nuts...
