25-30 days is quite common. It's quite nice, Apoc + mining lasers and going to lower sec to mine. Fast bootstrap to success to the players doing it

Employment history bugged that one thing :) if u think he 29 he may be 3 years old :) as on my char example, second thing player can jump in BS ( considering he get money from somewhere) i think within 5-6 days from be born or even less :) , alll he need to do make pilot rookie char with frigate skills up and traine rest within 5-6 day or even less.

A member of my corp was in a battleship after three weeks.
After about a week in the game he wanted a cruiser but couldn't afford one ... so the corp bought one for him. Then he couldn't insure it. Then four days later he turned up and he'd bought a Covetor, a Dominix, a Brutix and a bunch of named mods (he asked me whether a gist-something AB was 'good or bad').
His sudden windfall came from a, uh, 'friend'.
Of course he lost his battleship to a pirate on day 1. He refused to tell me how he'd fit it ...
I don't approve of MMO resource-buying in any context, but it must be especially bad in Eve. When something like that happens with what is effectively your RL cash it must feel like being mugged.
And they don't learn. The guy left Eve about four weeks and ten ship losses later.

Came in my megathron and took both of them out . But guess what i got from there loot standard lanchers .... warb core stabs and civilan shield boosters i think cant remember but WTF there are too many noobs in bs these days. B

Power to the pirates, I say. I do hope that a lot of real cash is lost in such circumstances, as it is the only punishment the game has a chance of imposing.

I know this one guy that was in a Geddon within 1 month of playing.
He had like 100k skillpoints in gunnery.
He complained that the Geddon wasn't a good ship at all.
He said that he wanted an apoc instead because it had more 'potential'.
He is now in an Apoc with 500k skillpoints in gunnery. His corp sells him cheap battleships.
I feel very depressed because of this

In my pirating days ( ) me and a friend came across a player who had been playing a little over two weeks. In a Raven.
His corpmate who was also in a Raven, had been playing maybe two weeks longer and actually had the sense to run when we enterred local, but the other guy just at in the belt npc'ing...
I don't have the killmail to hand but IIRC, 'basic' cap relays, a mix of heavy and standard missiles. Some god awful mid slot setup, actually, just god awful setup.
We found out afterwards he hadn't insured it
I've spent some time talking to newer players who want to rush to get 'the big ship', looks like they'll never learn lol. Your signature is too large! Please resize it according to the forum guidelines. Jacques Archambault |

Lets see...
I saw a player who was about 3 weeks old in a megathron. Can't remember exactly what he had fitter but it went something like this.
3 small auto cannons, 4 small artilaries. 10nm AB. Medium shiled booster. 5 cap relays (or flux's?) 2 stabs.
Once killed a phoon fitted like this.
3 small nos, 1 medium laser 4 siege 1 XL booster, 3 hardeners (all passive). LAR, projectile damage mod, random junk
Mega fitted as follow (sub 1 mounth old player)
Mix of medium projectiles (720's autocannons...) Shield tank, hull rep Gyrostab, WCS (he didn't warp though) small armor rep, overdrives...
Mining geddon.. 7 miner 2's 3 hull reps (small) small armor rep, lots of co-pros, basic expander or two.
His buddy in a mega who actually engaged me at a gate....
7 miner 2's siege launcher Shield tank (small booster) passive hardeners, invon field (before they were good) Random useless junk in the low's
2 week old player in a mega empty MWD (wrong size) rest empty 3 basic overdrives, rest empty In his hold he had the makings of a decent combat and travell fitting, and the skills needed to use them.
Ironically, in the above list only one of them were not a memeber of Xetic.

Oh ya, if you want a laugh and are really board. Get a cargo scanner, and a ship scanner and sit in Jita for a while. The fittings you see will make you laugh. Not to mention the nublens who will often follow you for hours smacking them for scanning them.

I remember seeing you in the overview and not really worrying because you 'were only in a cruiser' lol, well technicaly a Zealot IS a cruiser...

Oh my. After six months of casual playing and 5.8 million SP, I just got my first BS this weekend, an Armageddon. I may have taken my time in getting to the point where I could afford such a vessel, but the skills I've been developing in the meantime make it rather formidable. Although I suppose the "WTF, 29 days and in an Apoc" will now be replaced by "WTF, 6 months and just now in a 'geddon?".
Good point about the Maller. It's very versatile and I usually fly one when I venture into low sec space. But I have to admit level 3 missions are much better in this 'geddon instead of the Prophecy I was using.
------------------------------------------------------------------- One noob. One corp. One complete waste of 1.6 million isk. |

He was transporting 1000 units of frozen food through pf-346, afk travelling and he forgot ammunition.
