[BLUE] has finally set up their first outpost -The BLUE Pill- .
It is located in BWF-ZZ, two jumps away from secure Empire space.
We would like to thank everybody involved in the rather long preperations, especially our diplomats who did a fantastic job .
Many thanks also to the MC forces and all our friends who helped us achieving this great project.
We hope that this outpost will benefit the region and its inhabitants and serve as a platform for industrial development in 0,0 .
Beeing extremely close to secure Empire space makes the IPS-QB constellation an ideal place to take a sneak peak into 0,0 and a superb location for POS heavy industry .
[BLUE] has worked out concepts for different kind of industrial projects, including Mothership production and invites industrial corporations to participate in the industrial revolution of 0,0 .
[BLUE] alliance space is open for every EVE player to do business in, hunt, mine or just enjoy the view.
For security reasons and to support and realise an industrial venture of this size, [BLUE] has set up rules for alliance space and hopes that everyone visiting our space will understand and respect them.

The Big Blue is a neutral and independant entity, and its sovereign space is a DMZ: which means leave your guns at the door.
The Big Blue is currently composed of:
ò B.L.E.E.D [B.L.E]
ò Eve University [E-UNI]
ò Four Horsemen [LIH]
ò N.A.G.A Corporation [NAGA]

General info:
The Big Blue sovereignty currently extends to IPS-QB constellation in Geminate.
That's a total of 6 systems: BWF-ZZ, IOO-70, BND-16, 4-CUMs, RLSI-V, 8MG-J6.
All systems are currently open to all visitors, but 8MG-J6 - for which prior clearance is required.
We welcome everybody in our space, and work under the assumption visitors are friendly until they prove otherwise.
Because of our friendly stance to neutrals, breaking the rules in that space is considered a breach of trust, and not looked at kindly.
Any shooting in [BLUE] space not officially endorsed by [BLUE] will be considered a threat to the peace of our residents and visitors, to our sovereignty, and an act of aggression towards The Big Blue, and responded accordingly.

Super-short rules (for the reading-impaired):
ò Shooting anyone in [BLUE] space without official [BLUE] authorization is shooting the Big Blue.
ò Smacktalking, or generally being painfully stoopid, hurts our carebear feelings. Don't do it.
ò Uncalled-for agression towards any Big Blue pilot anywhere in space is considered a direct aggression towards The Big Blue and will be dealt with accordingly.

[BLUE] Peacemakers:
ò B.L.E.E.D [B.L.E]
ò Four Horsemen [LIH]
The above corp pilots are allowed to use force proactively to maintain peace in [BLUE] space.
They routinely use non-lethal force for security checks (webbing/scrambling/scanning).
Refusing to cooperate with Peacemakers is grounds for a ride out of our space, in a ship or without, depending on attitude of the offender.

These people are the main diplomatic contacts for The Big Blue, and can be contacted in game for talking specifics and working out details.
The official communication channel for formal inquiries, peace treaties, wardecs and mazel tov's is email, though.

The Big Blue basic rules (pocket edition):
ò The use of force in [BLUE] space is the burden and the privilege of the state. You may want to set standings towards Big Blue Peacemakers (listed above) to tell whether people are legitimate in their use of force.
ò If you are neutral to The Big Blue (no standings set), be ready for security checks by [BLUE] Peacemakers at any time (can entail disabling your ship for scanning purposes).
ò If people threaten you or you suspect trouble coming, warp out and inform [BLUE] Peacemakers.
ò Do not shoot unless in immediate self defence (meaning actively aggressed and unable to take evasive action) or responding to [BLUE] request for assistance.
ò If you are hostile to The Big Blue: be prepared to be turned into compost for us to grow weed for our guests to enjoy.
ò Empire/0.0 wars are non-applicable in our space, unless they directly involve The Big Blue.
ò Special cases: If you have a seriously negative security status in empire (-5 and below), or a personal history tied to known hostiles to The Big Blue, better get clearance by [BLUE] authorities to sojourn in our space. Failing that, you'll probably be considered fishy from the get-go and be dealt with less nicely.
The above rules apply in sovereign space of Big Blue only. If unsure whether you're in [BLUE] space, use your map. Smile

I rather think this is something that wouldn¦t be practiced on many occasions , but i have to admit , it could be tricky.

I cant help but notice there was like only one casualty during the whole op, A NAGA Tempest got wasted by the MC :S

Geminate is very hostile imo,every 1 shooting everyone in BB area. pirates and all sorts so beware if you go there,corps that are positive standing with big blue seem to shoot othe corps with positive standings with big blue... Seems VERY messy

There was a very short interruption in the supply of the outpost while MC and BLUE diplomats smoothed out a few issues. During this time, a lone NAGA pilot did something that caused him to be promptly introduced to the business end of at least 18 1400mm II, 14 425 II, 12 Cruise launcher II, 8 Heavy Pulse Laser II, 5 720mm II howitzers, 12 125mm II and an assortment of other weapons of war.
His tank . . . didn't quite hold.
The MC was proud to be a part of this historic operation and wishes Big Blue the best of luck in the future.

Well, i don¦t know if i¦m allowed to tell that here... but just between you and me... i heared that this guy was already sitting at this gate for hours and he really had to pee.
He got really frustrated and angry that he couldn¦t get to the loo ..... never ever stay between a loaded shark and a toilet.

this point breaches your neutral stances alliance 1 can ezly hide miners/npcer or capitial ship production in your space which causes you to now harbor hostile production to alliance 2
which in turn makes you a target eventhough you offer this to both sides
although i do see your point regarding such actions as decompplicating matters
this method still breaches your neutral stance and will involve you in wars
this gives many a right and reason to shoot you
how do u decide who shot 1st
just b/c person 1 gets a kill mail doesnt not mean he is the aggresser to person 2

And will be taken as aggression by a lot of people who have. There are good reasons for no other polity operating this policy. (There is no legitimate reason to web/scramble a ship for a scan. And why would you be interested in scanning in the first place? Want to explain why, and what you consider contraband?).

I would like to encourage everyone to respect these simple rules. There are 4995+ other system where you can happily kill each other. For those who have issues about people abusing these laws by "hiding" from wars; do contact our diplomats before starting to shoot.
