I can see perhaps, if they were to give some form of advantage over a normal arm.

Scars I can see, as we collect scars throughout our lives and they may be reminders for some folks. A complete arm seems a bit harsh.

I'm not sure a lot of folks would consider keeping a false replacement arm as a memento, if they had the option for a brand spanking (pun intended) new arm.

But then, I suppose, I could always sell my free one.

Hell, I even went to fanfest this year, so I must really like this damn game. But the evestore site doesn't have an option to send it here. There isn't anything that can be done? C'mon CCP, couldn't one of you lend me your address, and then send it here to me? Please? Pretty please?

I'd blame tax. Both VAT/sales tax, and corporation taxes.

The corporation tax rate in Iceland is half what it is in the US. Sales tax in Iceland is much higher though so, it probably about evens out. Germany (random country in the Eurozone) is in between on both.

To the people complaining about the Arm.. need I remind you there have been cybernetic eyes in game for a while now ? 3 of em.. well, two and that one that covers your eye or something..

So the idea that you just get a new body each time and you are good as new has been out the window for a while..

It's going to sound ****, but I wouldn't get it dude. I'm in Australia and they have some ****** up customs laws about stuff getting shipped in from other countries.

I lost a collector's edition pack from another game to Aussie customs, and I'm assuming you'd need to order via australia to get yours.

Exactly why I haven't ordered. Much as I would have loved to even before the Mystery code information was released (I want the Rifter USB for a start). But without concrete information that it will be shipped to NZ, I'm not spending that much, and the petition I placed about it wasn't answered.

Hey guys i have a question. Will the Amazon CE pre-orders also get the mystery code that is stated on the Eve-Store. Or is that just a Eve-Store bonus?

Hi there, the EVE Store is able to ship to New Zealand. Just select from the list of countries in the 'region' navbar at the top of the screen.

I've been in the wonderful position of being shafted with tax and import duty and charges from the wonderful FedEx, when ordering from the Eve store in the past. As you can imagine, I will not do that again.

The Cybernetic arm is the same as any other body modification, you can wear it, keep it or trade it.. it's up to you :)

Well, I love it as well, have two accounts, have spent a lot of real cash because I think Eve payoffs.... but cant understand why just a few countries where eligible to order the Pack...

Sensitive subject: will the GÇÿPhancaGÇÖ Cybernetic Arm or the AU-79 'Auroral' pod be available publicly at a later point, similar to the sleeve tattoo's, or are they truly exclusive to the SDCE, and will not be released later. Just weighing up how much I want one of them.

You mean my arm won't transform into a weapon like a Terminator's? I was hoping this would happen because 1) I want to blow the door to the station open and walk around and 2) "engage" Dust Mercs once that happens...also, it would be nice to have some nice defense in case somebody tries to make off with my ship!

Something a corp member just asked and made me realise.

Do the Genolution 'Auroral' AU-79 implants count towards ISK value of pod kills?
Because they they do getting podded is going to screw up killboard statistic for ISK ratios pretty bad.

I'm somewhat hoping there is an exception for them and they will be valued at 0 ISK as they're not actually destroyed.
