Can anyone make a viable hml cerb fit? As of now there is no GOOD reason to use a Zealot. I'd rather fly a zealot than a legion every time. Stuck In Here With Me:-á http://sihwm.blogspot.com.au/ |

That increased speed + Sig will make a huge difference even while webbed and patined, when compared to the zealot. Cap is not an issue if you place a small booster. Having 5 Med drones makes the Nomen a superior choice. But all of this talk is ponitless, because I feel that OP is probably solo / small gang. And in that arena, the zealot is completely outclassed by the Nomen. As for a cerb fit- the only way to fit the cerb: http://i.imgur.com/kTPNQmd.jpg18.5K EHP 35 / 80 / 70 / 50 489 Unheated DPS 1893 M/S Your cerberus fit is completely wrong... try to check one of OUR cerberuses to see how they are fit properly. Thanks but, pretty sure that is how to properly fit a cerb. Its the same fit that turn left uses, and the one that I had discussed with TL before the ship was even released.
In regard to the "only way to fit a cerb"
remember the RnB track 21 seconds to go by so solid crew? With RLML its 53 seconds before i gotta go. |

I try so hard to love the Sacrilege. It looks so damn pretty!
The problem is that everything a Sac can do, a nano Cyclone can do better, for much MUCH cheaper.
Also, Chessur's Cerb fit is outdated by the new RLML changes. RLML cerb is far less potent now. |

Flying a cerb these days is definitely a ham affair. Pop a crash booster. load up your tank and fit for a good mix of endurance and punch. If things get really sticky I recommend a web at least to really drive that 700+ dps home. LP store weapon cost rebalance |

I flew one in Initiative fleets (before the rebalance). They were very effective then, now even moreso. The main weakness of Zealot was that the PG was so low, you pretty much needed AWU V to fly one. Nowadays, not so much. Oh god. |

I tried a HAM Cerb on sisi before it went live. It didn't have the tank to survive at close range vs other HACs. It was possible to fit it to kite to a certain extent. But then you were giving up on dps because of losing BCS for nanos.
I was not impressed.
However, those complaining about the damage application of HAMs need to train the damn application skills. They apply dps just fine thx.
As far as the others... Sac > Zealot in almost all ways, except that it relies on drones for a significant chunk of its dps.
Ishtar = nano + drone assist boat. That is all you need to know about that.
Deimos is a beastly brawler. Awesome dps. Awesome local tank. Full tackle. No serious cap issues. Can fight even under significant cap pressure/warfare.
The Eagle is a hard-counter to all large hybrids. Something about >90% resists and awesome damage projection. Toss in some EWAR support frigates and cheap logi and you're nearly untouchable. And as long as you can keep range, you can even snipe vs drone assist stuff. But, like most Caldari ships, it has really bad cap issues. So keeping range can be problematic.
So nice to see something besides winmatar and Angels when it comes to medium-sized ships.
