Good Day All
This is a warning about Shinra. They kicked me out, for not having any kills or particiapitating in there mining op. But I never logged on except to change skills in the last week.
I was on my way out of 0-0 space (JV1) and they killed my shuttle. Now I cannot get a clone or use the market because i am not in the corporation. So next time i go out of the station I will be in an Ibis and they will kill me and pod me and my char is ruined.
This is a warning about joing shinra.

It kind of happens when you join a motivated corp and don't actually *do* anything. I'm sure it's the same for all corps. Could just be bad timing for you in RL but keeping a corporation in shape involves trimming the deadweight, in this case, you. Unfortunate

EVE Mail a director, explain your situation. Im sure your peeved off, but its only reasonable that a corp kick inactive members or those unwilling to participate. Perhaps its your fault for not explaining your situation in advance.

Yep. Seems like a big problem with "d*ck-itis" if you boot a member and don't let him leave your space.

And I would guess posting this pretty much eliminates whatever slim chance there was of them eventually letting you leave in peace.
That's why I play this game...it's full of the warm, fuzzy goodness of brotherly love.

You join a PVP corp, don't participate in the mining ops or get any kills (don't adhere to their rules) and then get booted when you mess around and just do your own thing and then cry about it?
Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

If you die without a clone, you only lose 5% of your skill points... a decent amount sure but not the end of all things.

It's their corp, their rules and as such they can do what ever they like within their own corp. If they want people that can devote time then they can kick you out.
Most players would let their corp know that they might be a bit busy this week or anything like that. Which was it though, you just said you were out npc hunting when it happened. Sounds like you had time to help out.

Yes, they are a bunch of ******. But think of the positives: you no longer need to sweat like a ***** for Enslaver's next freighter. I would have thought leaving Shinra is something for you to celebrate.

Unless he ripped off corp assets, this seems a bit harsh. Let the poor guy get a clone somewhere else before declaring open season on him. Jeez.

We are always try to keep slackers and people who dont contribute to the corp to a minimum.
I dont see the problem in this to be honest. If we let every slacker stay we wouldnt be shinra. Most other corps of our size does the same aswell

Honestly, I've been there (more or less). You'll recover in no time. Sure they will all hit the boards soon to spin this the other way, so wind up the thread. Just remember that being in a corp is like sitting down on a bus. You might be surrounded by friends most of the time, but some nutter could get on at the next stop and come and sit next to you. Don't risk it. Fly solo.

If they want to kick you out, that's fine. However, they should then let you gather up your crap and leave in peace. No reason to screw you over just because they've got you trapped in their territory.
