I don't like smack even if it's coming from my own corpmates and i don't usually engage in it. But i also don't judge an entire outfit by a couple of bad apples in their ranks. Heck,even the same people who smack you ingame could be really cool people to meet in RL. I don't block ppl who smack,i just let them have at it and i respond like i'm having a friendly conversation. Some people think smack is part and parcel of EvE PvP,some think it's ok to do it only if you "back it up", which is probably the most foolish thing i've ever heard. If someone calls you an idiot and proceeds to kill your ship he doesn't actually back up much, as a ship loss doesn't amount to an instant failure at an IQ test last time i checked. So,in short, play your game like you want to, smack if you want to,but don't get bothered by others doing it. I have nothing to prove to anyone in here, i don't care what they think about me, and unless someone starts paying for my account there's nobody who can tell me how to play the game and what i can or cannot say in local or forums. I find this mentality let's me concentrate on more important stuff, like killing people and having fun.
