Today in my local 0.0 system, a bob recon ship start smack talking in local, calling me a noob/npcer etc etc etc.
It was obviously bait to try to get me to come out, so i did just that, fit the best tank i could on my apoc, launched and fired on him.
Hardly to my suprise, 5 Bob members jump into system and warp to station. I dock with plenty of time.
Now if thats not funny enough, Bob, the "uber" pvpers trying to trap me. Homo erectus continues to smack talk me in local, after he failed to kill me 5 v 1. 
Aparntly im a newbie, who logs on to do nothing but npc, and thats all im good for.
Why does anyone respect bob?
Where are all the people that screamed "bob will kill sa in 2 days" at?
As far as i can tell, bob hasnt done anything yet, besides smack talk, and attempt to gank people.
I just wanted to thank Homo Erectus, evol, and bob for the wonderful fight.

nothing wrong with baiting
smack talk is always stupid. if someone smaks you just offer them a 1v1 if u believe you would win. fraps it and if they dihonour the 1v1 trash their corps name over the forums. if they dont u killed them and the smack stops
and dont look upon actions of a few to describe a whole alliance

It was an obvious trap, and i took it on purpose.
Baiting, and trapping doesnt bother me so much, what ever it takes to win right boys? (except for bastards and log on traps  )
I just cant believe people think so highly of bob, when they appear to be nothing more then smack talking gankers.

When you are ready to challenge Homo Erectus 1v1, then talk. Otherwise, stay in the station.

Ehh, this is the char i post with, why do you care which one i post with, when its obvious its not an alt?
Homo was the most arrogant person i've met in a long while, hes the one who wanted me to undock and fight, and i did just that, then 5 bob jumped into system.
Reguardless of your failed trap. Why smack talk? Why call names?
I used to be a smack talker. Then i realized its pointless, and only makes eve a worse place to be.
So i ask you, why smack? This wasnt even playful smack, and it was hate filled smack.

Many people are also reportedly afraid of being on the wrong end of the BoB Smacktrain. When you catch them alone they're not that hard tbh.

Homo smack is like the caviar of trash talk. You should just listen and love it for its purity.
BTW, you can take the local channel window and drag the player collum all the way to left, covering the text area. Or you can just not read it. Both do the same thing.

You are ofcourse entitled to your opinion. BoB has a rich history of PvP including fleet battles and recently winning the alliance tournament. How can you possibly say that we as BoB are 'smack talking gankers' - generalization for the lose? |

I blocked him after a few minutes, but It just suprises me people think so highly of bob. In my experience bob has one of the highest rates of smack. Though i will say the ganking was a suprise to me, in all my fight againts bob they've been good even fights.

People think so highly because they are one of the few with a divine right to ego, smacktalk and thoughts of grandeur. A man's weakness is only visible from above. Perhaps you should sacrifice a small creature in Homo Erectus's honor, for he has shown you yours.

If I didn't want to fight, I'd just ignore them. They want to gank, they choose a playground with NPC stations, so it's up to them to catch a victim.
I don't expect that somebody comes out to get ganked in low sec., I don't expect that someone comes out to get ganked from a NPC station in 0.0 and also not from a conquerable station.
Nobody must leave the safety and fight, if he doesn't want to. If I see a chance to win and think that it's worth to fight, then I come out. If not, e.g. if an enemy gang is outside and there is only me, my alt and someone else and I know that we can't win this, then I stay on station and let them talk.
If it happened during the night, I'd just go to bed and stay logged in. Had that more then once that I stood up in the morning, looked at the screen: 'Oh, convo window, enemies have been here. Hope they didn't wait too long for me.' 
Like I said, if I'm in safety, I decide when to fight and when not. If someone else wants to decide that for me, he has to force the fight upon me and that works best, while I'm in space and not docked.
*edit* I know it from my enemies, too, that it goes dock, dock, dock or log, log, log, when we arrive with a gank squad in their systems. They are no idiots and I don't expect them to come out and fight, if they have no real chance.

A lot of the time, were reduced to baiting\ganking. And we dont 'choose' npc stn locations. Its just most the ppl we shoot like the warmth and security, that is an npc stn.
Im sure had u got 5 ppl together, even a few more, they would have more than happily still engaged.
We dont like ganking, but if its that or nothing? I AM A GANKER BABY.
We all much prefer proper fights.
