Please post here so that the mods don't have to lock your thread too. The number of threads here is silly. It'll help them if we keep all the discussion to one thread. Forums seem to be working fine now, but the number of people on the server just dropped from 20,000 to 13,800... I can't seem to log back in... I think the hamsters have given out. I figured it could be the new nvidia drivers I installed, or any other number of things. I was hoping it was all on my end. But, it's happened again today, not at least this time I know it wasn't just me. So, unless there was a 250 ship battle going on 10min before downtime I'd lean more to some hardware issue than anything else. But, either way, good luck tracking down the problem!

I was juuuuust going to pick up his loot, I was on 90% armor 100% struct... then.. lost connection. tried getting back on and all I got was that the server was being rebooted... and make sure your out of harms way!!!!!!!..... ?!!%$ú$%^ can I do that when I WAS in harms way.. if my first ever thorax is died oh how ***ED will I be I dont care about petitions... its my first thorax.. it has sentimental value!

When half of the nodes had gone down, we initiated a reboot. To make sure that this wasn't an IP conflict, I had to turn off all the new machines. After that was done, I attemtped to start TQ. The startup went well, however, I quickly noticed that the countdown timer did not appear on the main TQ IP, so assuming that this was related to the earlier issue, I cancelled the startup. After a little more investigation and when my cell phone was almost out of batteries, I retried startup, but no avail. So after even more investigation by both me and network guys both in Iceland and London we found out that out main loadbalancer had gone into a weird state.
