Fantastic news. Count's son, I have evemailed you in game offering my assistance if you need help with prices and things like that. Your father handled large sums of peoples cash, so it would be best that you have somebody (either me or someone else) oversee your liquidation of stocks, to ensure it is all done right.
Tell Mr Count that we wish him the best and hope to see him in the future

Well it didn't even cross my mind until you said this. I would put it down to a coincidence. I and most other GPSx shareholders was shocked when Countess disapeared. With other IPO's we wrote off our losses. With GPSx, we continued speculation for months, believing Countess would come back. After all the effort put into the endeavour, we couldn't accept that it was a scam.
So, I believe that there was some sort of RL issue that prevented The Count from finishing his project. I just hope that the RL issue isn't too serious, as he seemed like a good bloke.

What is the current status of this? There hasn't been a payout for sometime and I'm sure there was isk remaining in the pot. Ricdic, please could you comment?

I spent some time going over the financials with Countess's son. I went through all of his spreadsheets and I must say I was amazed at the level of financials he had put into this business. I then focused on current assets that Count had left in his possesion. Including all assets as well as the sale of the actual character, the end result would be almost identical to the amount of cash the IPO sold out for.
The problem, is that the shares have been diluted horribly. Some people who paid high prices on shares, will find they get virtually none of their investment back, and some of those people sold their hundreds of thousands of shares at ie 10 isk each when they thought Countess was never coming back.
We started by auctioning the more expensive items off. These included
Caracal BPO
Ferox BPO
and a few local hull expanders
A couple of other basic items went up as well.
Now Countess had a freighter, which will be liquidated and should bring a decent amount of cash in. The freighter was left till last as it was required in the movement of a few final assets.
The countess's business was basically hundreds of buy orders all over the place for items well below mineral cost, then courier back to station to melt and sell minerals. when countess's son came online he didn't realise they needed escrowing so he was rolling a freighter around to hundreds of stations to pick up bits and pieces of loot.
This would have been the times when he was found logged on for extensive periods of time, mostly afk at the wheel of the freighter. He done this for around 3-4 weeks I believe until all assets had been moved and melted (when you begun getting 100m dividends)
I wanted to study the books to make the most of the liquidation, as well as to determine whether I could jumpstart the corporation and get dividends etc back up to scratch as the real Countess wanted.
The business plan was strong, but the fact that it was a one man operation, was the reason GPSx failed. I have been asked by his son not to tell people where he went, but I really need to clear this up, as everytime I hear people saying it was a scam, I cringe.
The real Countess Oracle passed away around the time everything stopped. I don't know how and didn't ask. His son has explained that one of the last things he was asked, was to pay back the investors who had placed their trust in him.
This is why things have been slow. With his son having to learn how to play Eve before being able to help investors etc. With no guidance whatsoever, and not even realising that the forums were here or that there was wild speculation in this time. He didnt accept convo's for whatever reason (call it stress if you like)
Now, you could all say that this could simply be an excuse. However, after seeing how detailed the reports were, I don't see why any scammer would go to such efforts. I will publish transcripts of these reports (removing and signing on any pieces that shouldnt be shown, there was some personal info in there).
I am at work at the moment, so cannot post them right now, but will do it in about 7 hours when I get home from work.
Also, I havent been in contact with Countess Son for the last week or two, so not sure what has been happening in this time (RL and corp change), but will contact him over the next couple of days to find out when freighter will be liquidated and the character sold.
Hope this clears things up a little

As promised, I am posting the financials that were in use by the late Countess Oracle. Hopefully this will be enough to end speculation once and for all that GPSx was a scam.

Really is inteesting ....all around...I wont speculate due to the slight chance any of the story is real.
But, I will say there were a number of high end BPOs on escrow by Countess..and not the fake "c0untess".

I understand that some will still have their doubts in regards to this venture. I mainly wanted to shed as much light on the situation as I could, so people had some sort of information on where their investments went, at least now the speculation on whether this was an initial scam can be ruled out at the very least
The things I posted were never made public before me, as there was never a company audit. I don't see a scammer going to this kind of effort when it is not required of him.

I came into the IPO quite late, and bought up a ton of shares at heavily inflated prices. While I never saw any form of payout, I always wanted to get to the bottom of it, and figure out the mystery that was GPSx.
Anyways, this should bring closure for many wondering what their shares are doing at the very least. Let's hope we can all move on from here.
