Liet Traep	Posted - 2006.03.25 21:32:00 - [12] I can fly the cyclone, ferox and prophecy. I really like my prophecy and have no fear of going toe to toe with any other bc. it's slow but really powerful with thick, thick armor. It is the perfect amarrian vessel, slow, heavily armored and powerful.

Or, it looks like yet another excreted or pinched off form of Gallente waste And to whoever said "missile ships are noob ships" in reference to the Ferox, take a look at the bonuses for the Ferox... hey, it's a rail boat!! Just because it's easy to fit as a missile boat and works well as a noob ship doesn't mean that's all it can do.

I have not flown the Brutix yet, but I can tell you that the Prophecy has one mean tank. Its only real limitation is that NPCs often have very high EM and Thermal resists, midigating its damage potential. I have found that with a good AB and some skills speed is not big issue, the Ferox for example is much slower.

One less mid, but can use pretty much the same fit with one less invulnerability field, since the built-in resistance bonus about replaces it. Enough skills and she shreds people like a lawnmower she looks like...

Take a Kestrel, and give it to a noob. Primary weapon = missile, but a noob will have a hard time fitting that ship with a full rack of weaponry, and it takes a bit of knowledge to fly it without getting spanked ... And remember, the Tech 1 missiles were "nerfed" pretty hard, what I did 15 months ago (char with Cal Frig 4 at creation, raise Missile Launcher Op to 2, Standard Missiles to 1, climb in a Kestrel and wtfbbqpwn everything up to 0.3 belt rats while half-asleep) is not possible anymore. Missile-based Feroxes may be easier to fit and fly than a rail-based Ferox, but you still need a few skills for them to be good. Saying that "any ship whose primary weapon are missiles is a noob ship" is a proof that you've never flown one, from my humble point of view ...
