PRACTICE

For this tournament teams must choose to either practice on Singularity or on Tranquility. In an effort to aid the training on Singularity, especially for newer players that might rely on skillpoints that havenGÇÿt been mirrored over yet, we will be handing out skillpoints to those who request them. In order to be eligible for the skillpoints your character must have been created before the last mirror and therefore exist on Singularity, and you must be a registered member on a tournament team. Players can apply for the skillpoints by filing a support ticket to the Community queue between the end of the silent auction on January the 23rd and January 30th. We will then hand out the skillpoints in the following days.

i purchased my toon since the last mirror and the toon has not been moved to my account on singularity. how would that be handled. its what i mean by mirror

Do you know how much SP is expected to be handed out on Sisi through these petitions? Given the age of the mirror (late October iirc) some players may need more than others due to not having had access or not keeping up with training.

I know I wouldn't need much since I've been participating in the SCL and have been training as a result, for example, but there are a few people on my team who would be very, very out of date in that regard and would probably need a fair amount.

Well the richest teams are more experienced teams and know how to make 27 plexs worth of isk., If you can't afford to play then don't b***h and whine. There is always the SCL you could always join, its ran on SiSi so you don't even lose isk. :P

Next time, consider giving a few slots (maybe 4 or 8) to the winners or high-finishers from SCL? That way promising teams that place highly there won't have to break the bank to get into the NEO.

Its a NEO promise, so going off the payment time of the NEO prize shirts from NEO 1 id say minimum you're looking at is 14 months

The work on the t-shirts was ongoing but there were a few roadblocks with the original design. Yes we have been working on it, no everything did not go smoothly. That is not an excuse for why it took so long but moving forward we are working towards delivering things faster.

Maybe I'm being cynical but i find it almost impossible to believe there could be anything that could hold up such a relatively simple bit of work as producing a virtual tshirt design for so so long. Especially with CCP producing and releasing several new Tshirt designs over the last 12 months. I understand that the plex for good tshirt was a much much more noble cause to develop for, but you guys knocked that bad boy up and had it out within a month at most.

What exactly makes the NEO prize Tshirt so difficult to produce? I mean, you got the NEO payments sorted and that whole debacle seems infinitely more complex and out of your comfort zone as a company than whipping up some virtual items does.


What is the excuse/reasons for taking so long?

Promising teams from the SCL win enough isk to pay for their entry into the NEO.

I will be manually transferring the purchased character over to the account it is currently on TQ so the player can practice with the character they will be flying in the tournament. To get that done please send a support ticket to the community queue, note that I will double check on what account the character is on TQ so don't try to fool me! I might get angry

Since handing them out to only those that petition would mean that a script would have to be run every other day because some people petition sooner than other people we have decided to hand out to all characters that are registered and have a captain that has submitted a final roster for the team on Friday.

I have just contacted all the team captains asking for their final 12 character roster. If we get replies from all the teams earlier than Friday we will try and speed up the SP handout.

To be honest, both works. I'd prefer the names in a list format as that makes it easier to read. And all caps is not required nor encouraged :)
