They may be disbanding, but I think they're going to come back in some form of a super alliance. Fear the Ibis of doom. |

Congratulations CCP - by setting the skill requirements for capital ships so high only the alliances with the most amount of vets can effectivly play in 0.0. As CCP's own data farming showed, the average player only plays for 7 months or so.
Learning Skills: 2 months Large Turrets 5: 1 month Advanced Weapon Upgrades 5: 1 month Battleship 5: 1.5 months Advanced Spaceship Command: 1 month
That's 6.5 and a half months training right there. Territorial warfare has gone from who can spam a system with the most small POS to who can suck up the most vets and bring the most dreadnoughts.

I've never understood why not more ppl go after sieging dreads with nos/neuts? No matter how good you can tank you're a sitting duck with no cap. The defender has just about every advantage there is with POSes and dreads.

so what.... you want it to be the one that can bring the most Alt/n00bs to the system?
no, I am simply stating that the current system sucks just as much as the old one.

yeh i know, its friday, its a whacko day in Eve, Im at work, i felt like being a smart***.
tbh Dread/Cap ships are "end Game" items not "mid Game" items or sum such. Makes sense to me as it fits with EvE whole way of progression in game.
Until then attack them in Ibis'

in which case, ccp has one again shot themselves in the foot with their plan to get more people into 0.0. why should people invest so much time and isk into building a new empire when the defence of it relies on who can recruit the most vets?

1: Get some better attributes 2: Failign to do that get a load of GTC's 3: Buy a vet that had to quit eve
Some of us have been playing from the start, thats 2 years 11 months. Tha is $525 is subscription fee's, hours of effort and roughly a billion isk in skills.
The only thing broke is your head tbh.
The above thoughts and statements are IC and should be taken as such. |

Your point? With good attributes you can probably knock 5 days off those skills. The problem isn't the vets, it's the skill requirements and mechanics of 0.0 territory control.

your not implying that since you dont have the Cap ships skills and able to fly them that it means you cant go out to 0.0 are ya? as an individual? cuz you can.
As for "system control" or "region Control" yes you need Vets and their capabilities (read Experience) not only sp.
i just realized this gets into a "omg let me fly everything NOW!! why make me wait to get there" type conversation.
so yeah your right, get most Vets and you are way ahead.
now lets both get out of this nice thread and stop taking it off topic.

Well, I've heard from a G friendly corp that apparently there is going to be a re-organisaion but nothing much is changing.
Expect a new 'brand' soon I would say.
Perhaps they are getting together formally with IRON/RAZOR, who knows... but something is definately cooking.
